Soooooo, I've decided to start reorganizing my character profiles. After reading some threads (mainly the pet peeve threads) on the forums, I've realized that my characters may give the wrong impression about them and possibly myself as a player.
My profiles, though they seem rather complete, are actually lacking in a lot of detail. Originally, they all had very long profiles. When I got a few TL;DR messages I became really irked and felt pressure to drastically reduce them. Now I realize by cutting out all that information I've left out key details, details that clear up things that may have some players assuming the wrong things.
So I'm currently figuring out the most efficient and practical way to give information about my characters. I'm going to be putting back in a lot of the information I previously took out and I'll be posting a warning for the TL;DR people... That is one of MY pet peeves. If something on a site, a large portion of which is literary based, is too long for you to bother reading... it says something about you when you reuse to read the information that is there, yet want to start a play.

It's difficult to strike a nice balance between detail and key info, but please don't let anyone's opinion deter you from organizing your profiles the way you find them best. There's a difference between listening to suggestions and pleasing the masses. 
The best profiles are the kind that the player loves themselves!
If you find yourself struggling to find that balance however, I suggest splitting the profile info between different pages. I would dedicate one page to key points of interest that cover the essentials, and then optionally adding any additional information on (a) separate page(s) to elaborate on the former. That should cover both options well if you want to do it that way!
