"Ok, get in. Be sure to try and not look through the entrance. Don't want a wolf trying to put their claws in." she smiled, "Just, don't come out."

She ran off just as the sun went behind the horizon. As the red moon came up, she fell onto all fours but she still ran. Her hands became paws, she got a tail, fur covered her body and her eyes glowed.

Snarling, she halted smelling a scent of a girl. She then twisted following it. Shinia then saw her, she jumped into the girl's path and snapped her jaws. Her bright blue eyes seemed to stare into her very soul ().

The menacing werewolf snarled and growled and then charged at Cielle.

Cielle spotted the werewolf and stared at it for a few seconds. What was a werewolf doing out here? She thought she was safe out here. Cielle then realized that the wolf was running towards her.

Cielle quickly held onto her knife with both hands tightly. Was she going to fight the creature or was she going to run away? She had to think fast because it was getting closer to her. Cielle then turned around on her heel and ran to the nearest tree as fast as she could. She then grabbed onto the lowest branch and started climbing slowly. She wasn't a very good climber.

Shinia then followed her to the tree. She barged into the tree with her head and then kept hitting it making the tree shake. The tree was on its last roots when she stopped and growled. She then leapt hight in the air clamping her jaws around the girls foot.

Growling, she stood on her back legs digging her fangs into the girl's foot.

Cielle felt a sharp pain in her foot and screamed. The pain was unbearable so she let go of the branch she had grasped onto, falling to the ground. Cielle then quickly took out her knife again, holding it tightly while on the ground.

Shay paced around the tiny room before sense dawned on him. What the heck was he doing standing around? And while he knew most villagers weren't dumb enough to wander the woods alone at night--he still shouldn't be confining himself here.

"Tcha, am I a pathetic hunter or not?" He crawled back through the entrance and looked around. It was quiet, still. No sign of a werewolf yet. With a scowl--the wolf was probably a fair distance away by now, he grabbed his crossbow and headed back for town. When morning dawned, he would return to look for Shinia and apologize...assuming he got that far.

That was when he heard a scream of pain. He took off in the direction he head it coming from.

Cielle scrambled on the ground, in to much pain to get up and run away. She still held onto her weapon tightly as she heard something else coming towards them.

Shinia snarled and began to get closer. Her head was low as she snarled and bared her menacing teeth. Her ears perked to someone coming and she turned round.

Her ears swiveled to know where the person was coming from. When she heard the footsteps getting louder she snapped the air around her. Her tail whipped the air as she turned back to Cielle. Shinia continued to get closer.

Shay burst into the clearing in time to see the large wolf ready to attack a helpless young lady. "Oy! Leave her be!"

He brought the crossbow up and fired. Ka-chunk. The bolt soared through the air to punch silver-tip first into the tree between wolf and girl. He had the crossbow down, foot in the stirrup as he pulled the string back to prime the crossbow for another shot, his eyes all the meanwhile on the wolf.

Shinia's head swung to Shay and she growled. As the arrow hit the tree beside them she went onto her hind legs and leapt in front of Shay.

Angrily, she charged at him, her eyes glowing in fury.

Cielle stared at the man then looked back at the wolf. She felt helpless just sitting there with her wounded ankle.

Cielle slowly went on her knees and hands, carefully not to hurt herself. She gasped sharply when she accidentally twisted her leg just a little to far. Then, she looked up and saw that the wolf was now charging at the man. She quietly crawled over to her knife that has fallen on the ground.

Shay had hoped this would be the case. He tried to make eye contact with the wolf, his crossbow loaded once again though he really didn't want to have to use it if he could help it.

"Shinia? Listen to me, you need to control this wolf. Forget about the moon and its color, you're stronger than this." He kept his voice calm before pitching it louder to the girl behind the wolf.

"My name's Shay--I'm used to these kinds of situations. If you can get yourself behind me, I know a safe place to hide." Yeah, that stone hut/cave thing back where he'd been might just be handy right about now. He started to circle around the wolf, hoping to get himself between the wolf and the girl before anything bad happened.

Cielle grabbed her knife quickly and stuffed it in her belt. Then she looked up at the man. Shinia? He actually named this wolf that looked like it wanted to kill both of them right now? Cielle ignored her thoughts and stood up slowly, leaning on a tree. She limped over to the man slowly without saying a word.

She got over behind him without falling and gently stood on her wounded ankle for balance. She looked over his shoulder at the wolf.

When she heard her name she stopped in her tracks. She yelped and glared at the moon. She then turned back growling.

Her ears then swiveled and she stopped growling. She looked at him and tilted her head slightly.

Shinia's head turned to the direction of the cave. She then growled and began to step closer. Her lips peeled back in a snarl.

"Great, good," he said to the girl behind him. "You gotta name? We're going to try and get past her..." Shinia had growled and approached again. "Forget it, she's not going to let us by. There's a hut up on the far side of this hill where we can hole up. I don't think we're gonna make it to the cave."

He started to back up, one hand snaking behind him to make sure he didn't trip over the girl he was protecting. His heart jack-hammered in his chest, belying the calmness of his voice and movements. He was nervous and wary--at any moment this could all go sour.

"Easy, there, Shinia," he told the wolf. "Keep it easy, you don't want us. You want a nice juicy elk, not a gangly human."

She then stopped again hearing her name. Her head tilted hearing, juicy elk and gangly human.

Suddenly, she leapt at him clamping her jaws around his arm. Shinia pulled at it like a dog in tug of war with its owner. She snarled and growled. She thrashed her front paws at him with her razor-like claws pointing at his chest.

She took short glances at the man then wolf. Back and forth.

"M-my name is Cielle--" She said quietly before the wolf clung her jaws around Shay's arm. Cielle gasped then screamed in horror as she saw the wolf starting to pull at his arm. Cielle quickly rose her hand up, the hand which she was holding her blade in tightly. She was going to stab the wolf, but it was moving around to fast for Cielle to get a good aim. She didn't want to kill it but she wanted to stab it in the paw or something... Something to distract the wolf.

The wolf's glare went to Cielle. It's jaws never opened. Shinia whipped the air with her tail. Her tail stopped moving and she did too. She just clung onto his arm like there was no tomorrow.

Shay yelled out of surprise and pain. The crossbow fired--the shot going wild as Shinia chomped into his leg and dragged it out from under him. He landed with a grunt on his back.

"D-don't kill her!" he managed. "I need her alive still." Well, need was rather a strong word for it; wanted more like. But he kicked with his free leg at Shinia's snout. "Drop me! Drop me, Shinia!" he was hoping yelling her name would snap her out of this. ...or he'd be turned into mincemeat.

Shinia whined and let go. She had a moment of acting like a puppy. She jumped around playfully then she heard a howl in the distance. Her ears swiveled at the howl and she replied with a howl as well.

The moon began to go back down. Shinia shook her fur and stumbled into the bushes.

The sun began to appear and so did she, "Ugh..." she looked at Shay then at his leg, "D-did i do that?"
She then looked at Cielle, "I must of gone on a rampage..."
