This is a group roleplay that will take place in a slightly futuristic universe with the main characters being peculiars, a small percentage of the population that has been gifted with strange, unexplained powers. This was usually kept secret, but in recent times some of the peculiars have been rising up to claim their perceived rightful superiority over the general ungifted population.
Hello there! If you're interested in joining, reply to the topic below with the necessary information and I'll PM you if you have been selected. I'll breifly explain the universe and rules below.
If you want to join it's necessary that you know what sort of characters I'm looking for. I need them to have powers, but keep in mind they cannot be magical or OP (I can be more strict about this than others). All characters must be humans. If you don't want them to be peculiars, I would like a few who were regular people that joined the resistance.
The characters should be at least teens, and at most younger adults. As I said, this is a group role-play and so I'm looking for multiple characters and players; the roleplay will take place in a group I'm making so we can have the universe continually open at different locations and times. I want at least 5 players to start, but 8-10 would be ideal. Each player can have 2 characters to start, but we can work out implementing more over time. If you want to participate, post below with a link to your characters profile(s) or as them. Please have enough information for me to understand your character, the more the merrier.
Information that must be included: personality, powers, appearance and age/name/sex etc.
If you want to join keep up with the roleplay! Don't leave us hanging - while breaks are perfectly acceptable I will appreciate a warning first and usual activity. More in depth information will be given about the universe if you are selected, but you get the idea.
As for writing style, it will eventually a semiliterate group. Use quotation marks properly, write the actions out, and at least post a few sentences.
I ask that you be at least 14 years old if you want to join the group.

Hey! Could I use my character maxwell? His power consits of Shapeshifting, And control over elements.

i am very intrested....of course my character ((Hurkara Mirrmirrow)) is a god demon.....she is not op.....trust me.....i give everyone a chance in the rp.....plus.....she isnt a good flier at all....and sometimes her magic misses.....and she is a bit clumsy as well.....so.....if you accept my character that will be great!

@Triston both shapeshifting and elemental abilities are a bit much, would you mind picking an element or just shapeshifting? Otherwise he seems good.

Depends on how powerful he is, for example some vampires are very OP while others are fair. What sort of abilities specifically does he have?

So he doesn't have any besides blood absorbing right now but he can get very powerful but right now he's kinda weak compared to regular Vampires very strong to humans

I don't think that would really fit into the theme of the group, since vampires don't exist and powers based off of it wouldn't really work; usually it follows more along the lines of super powers.

Basically think of it as a quick from my hero academia kinda

I'm not sure what that is so I can't really imagine what it would be. I mostly just mean the powers are supposed to be more original or super hero-like.
