Well, it's finally happened: after having loafed around for almost two years (I think it's been two years for me on here. Anyway...), it's time for me to get my thinking cap back on, and jump into the RP train. Now, before we begin, let me tell you that I haven't done forum roleplaying in a very, very, very long time. It's been at least a couple of years since I've posted in a forum, and at least 10 months since I last rped with anything friends.
Having said that, I'm almost completely based off the fantasy genre, preferably with magic. The only 'real' character I have up on here is Celica. She's a character made for a specific game that I've been involved with for a long time, but I can easily revamp her in very slight ways to make her generic-fantasy (i.e., she's an elf mage from a relatively poor family who has honed her skills over the years). There's a brief synopsis of her in my character profiles, but I still need to finish it. Like I said, I can be very, very lazy sometimes, and since I hadn't had an rp here yet, I decided to let it fall by the way side.
Another character I have, which isn't on RPR, is Subaru Frostfire, who is either a dark skinned elf, half-elf, or human depending on who I'm RPing with and my mood. She is a Ranger/Hunter who is proficient in bows and also wields a schimitar and dagger in close combat. Subaru is somewhat ragged around the edges, coming off as snarky or sarcastic at times but when a situation calls for her to focus, she hones on whatever the objective is at hand to a fault - it's the only thing that matters. This is a newer character, and I've only roleplayed with herrr... twice before, I think, and each time was very generic. That being said, I'm more than happy to modify her to suit the needs/plot at hand.
Among my stable of completely blank character pages is Lawrence Gribble. Up front, this is mostly a joke character and is based somewhat off Dale Gribble from King of the Hill. Based in the 3rd Age Elder Scrolls mythos, Lawrence was abandoned in front of a Khajit caravan as a child, and raised as if he were an Elseweyr native. In his extremely early 20s, he displayed a knack for detective work, and moved to Cyrodiil. Enlisting in the Imperial Guard, he has been charged with uprooting the black market cabbage ring in the Imperial City. Lawrence tasks his tasks very seriously, even to the point of obsession. Currently, he has made minor progress, and is interrogating a low level cabbage smuggler in hopes of forcing his superiors whereabouts out of him. I have no problem tweaking him a bit to conform to an 'actual' rp, but his main forte is wacky antics and ineptitude normally.
Lastly (at least for now), we have Sweetie Bot. Sweetie Bot is a parody of Sweetie Belle, a small filly from the series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She originated in the series Witchcraft is Magic (a link to the series can be seen in her profile.) For Sweetie, there are two versions of her: the vanilla/normal version based on WiM, which is much more comical in nature - she can constantly be seen trying to appeal to her sister while constantly failing and being somewhat belittled, and trying to get her cutie mark to no avail, light-hearted stuff like that - or the version which I created in my head last night: it's a much darker version of Equestria where Celestia fears that magic may not triumph over might. Spreading a low-dose of a bio-warfare agent within select residents in Ponyville, she bided her time whilst the chemical took hold. Unknowingly, Sweetie Belle was one of those chosen; however, before the agent had time to work it's magic, she was mauled into a near death state in the Everfree Forest by timber wolves. Immediately whisked off to Canterlot, she received the best medical care possible, but eventually succumbed to weakness and died. After her small funeral, Celestia collected her body, and her top scientists recreated Sweetie Belle as Sweetie Bot, a fully functional android based off the little filly in every way possible. For all intents and purposes, Sweetie Bot IS Sweetie Belle, and is completely unaware that she is a robot. To further ensure her plans with Sweetie go smoothly, Celestia somehow brain washes all of Ponyville with her magic into thinking that the episode in the Everfree Forest never happened. You can read more on her profile, but this character is still very new to me and unless it's a multi/omniverse rp, or an rp specifically in Equestria, I most likely won't be using Sweetie Bot much.
With all that said, if you have an idea for a roleplay you might like to see me in, just let me know here or shoot me a pm. I'm heavily rusty, but usually get back into my groove fairly easily. ALRIGHT GUYS LET'S [BUYSOMEAPPLES!] DO THIS.";

Nobody wants to roleplay with you.
I love you, too, Ross. Now go play in the other room, grown-ups are talking.
THIS IS BS! YOU CAN'T GROUND SCOOTALOO!!
Oh goodness, Subaru Frostfire sounds quite interesting! I love that she has a scimitar! Though the only character I can offer who has the same weapon is Hassan--my Arabian Knight. (Yes, you read that right.)
Then again depending on her snark, Arien could be looking for an unsuspecting target to spike her food with Tabasco sauce. Does Subaru come with any particular plot or are you looking to start one up?
(Also, on a slightly unrelated/kind or related note: I LOVE Subaru--the car. I drive a Forester.)

Plotwise, I have literally nothing planned for her. She was based off a dnd character I made (it's nearly copy and paste, with a few bits here and there changed). She's my more generic character that I can insert into a fantasy setting and go to town type character.
In terms of her choice of weaponry, I chose the scimitar/dagger combo because a buddy and I thought it would be cool to see someone dual-wielding a dagger with a curved sword in the other hand. She doesn't often use them both at the same time - she's not some super amazing martial artist, she's the culmination of what a 'regular' person in a hunter/rogue trade could feasibly due - because she's more of a hunter-destroyer-machine with her bow. She can roll in any group and feel relatively at home.
As far as her personality goes, it's sort of the generic snarky for right now. Honestly, I'll probably go through half a million different versions of her before I settle on one I like. The woes of a new character .
(Also, I'm a bit of a mechanic, and also love Subarus -- especially Foresters and Outbacks.)
All characters should be named after cars.
