Just an idea that came to mind although I'm sure people can do it just with their profiles and characters but perhaps create a forum where people can post threads about the lore of the world their character(s) inhabit even if its a canon world/universe it sure would please those that enjoy researching and reading up on lore like myself(although I attribute most of that to my High-functioning Autism).

Regardless its just a suggestion.

As you mentioned, this is a thing that can be (and often is) featured in character profiles. Some include it with a character, but I've also seen profiles solely dedicated to a setting. An easier way to find those might be nice, though!

There are also folks who do this with groups! Groups allow a world to be set up and acts as the place to play within. You might enjoy spending more time looking through what's been set up.
