Samael Skynight (played by Raicy)

In a land like no other, filled with beasts and creatures that the mind could only imagine, a war ad broken out. The Wizards of Time wished to change the ways of the land, for it clouded the vision to the possibility of change and improvement. The wizards wished not to change the customs or rituals of the being of Terra Omega, nor did they wish for hostility among the South and the North. Yet, due to the vision of the Wizards, the South, filled with mermaids, mermen, hippo campus, and other creatures of Sea and Sky. In the North, creatures of Land, magic, and ground lived, and they desired to protect their land, and their guardians.
The Wizards, seeing how the brave inhabitants of the North fought and fell in battle, saw that they would need the aid of the relics of past Wizards and Witches. So, in an unanimous decisions, they decided that they would call to warriors and creatures fit for the quest.

Among those called, was Samael Skynight. He belonged in two worlds, for he was a hybrid. Half human, and half demon. He is a skilled sword fighter, with the ability to use fire. He approached the hall of the deceased Kind and Queen, and as he entered, he could see all the members of the Wizards and Witches of Time, but one. He wondered where she was, but dared not to ask. They watched him as he approached, and he saw that, hidden from plain sight, was another being.
-Samael, please wait until the rest have arrived, we will brief you then.- One of them said. He stood next to the being, and waited for whomever they had called.
A few minutes past, and the next person came inside. A few minutes later, and another. And another. And another. About ten minutes after his arrival, the Wizards turned towards them.
-As you may all be aware, we are at war. Neither side is winning,, and for each person that falls, a side is losing. We wish not to prolong the fight longer than it has to, so we have called you all here for a quest. To stop this war, we will need some relics.- The smallest one of them all, handed every pair a map -This will show you the closest relic to your current location, and simply touch the relic to the map to deliver it to us. The map that it has touched, will then bring it back to us. There are various challenges along the way, and I fear that not all of you may make it back, or that you will go unchallenged by the South.- The Witch closest to Samael waved her hand, and in front of them appeared a wide collection of weapons, armor, resources, as well as odd items appeared on top of a table. Samael recognized a few of his belongings, and picked those up.
-Prepare for your journey, there are horses in front of the castle waiting for you, and their saddles are filled with food and water, as well as medical items. You leave at dusk.- They all turned away from them, and Samael looked at each one of the other members. He wondered what some of them were doing there, but he trusted the Wizards and Witched of Time, and he trusted their judgement.
He hoped he would make it back.
Sarquine was the first to arrive after Samael. He saw all the figures standing before Samael and he smirked. The Wizards of Time. A group Hell bent on improving the world in its current state. Sarquine wasn't one to play the good guy role but given that he hasn't had anything interesting happen within the last 4 years, he decided to answer the call. Back in the height of his power, Sarquine could have easily accomplished whatever task the Wizards would put forth. Now he was but a tiny shadow of his former self. Stripped of his power by a long dead human. Ever since then, the demon hybrid vessel had been searching for the keys to find his own heart which housed his power. He has found only a few of the many thousands that he needs to return to his full power. He stepped closer to Samael, remaining silent as he watched the Wizards of Time.
His footsteps silently echoed in the massive hall as he made his way to the wizards. Will approached the gathering with small steps, looking around the hall and processing its many details. He couldn't fanthom the reason why he was summoned, however he suspected that the fact he was an order mage might have determined the wizards of time to sign him up."It's not like I am the only order mage, I mean, I hope I am not.. it's still unlikely, though, there must be another reason.", he thought to himself. "Possible that they've heard that I guard the eye of Magnus, and my parents were directly involved in the civil war regarding the thing?Maybe, but... nobody was meant to know about that, Ah, I'll just roll with this." .
Cynebil wore his order mage robes and his scepter was held on his belt, eager to learn the things he had to. The gingerhead knew the war had to end, although he knew that his mere adept status as a wizard of order might cause problems, questions for other people, including, admittedly, himself.
After he listened to what the wizards had to say, the boy nodded, "Amazing what charms can do.", he noted inside his mind. He looked the over the suggested equipment and his eyes widened as he saw something sweetly familliar.
"Is that a staff with hydra scales and a ... spriggan-enchanted soul crystal? And if yes can I take it?",to be fair, the described magical weapon WASN'T legendary at all, but it was more fitting for an order mage of his type than whatever scepter or or wand he had at the momment, plus, hydras represent balance between the elementals, and the spriggan represents balance between the spirits.
Gabriel (played by Decap)

A man sized snail with arms and hands entered after the ginger headed mage. A small slime trail leaving in his wake. Gabriel had a frown on his face which is unusual for the normally casual fellow.

His magical staff had gone missing a few days prior this event. A day after he had lost it, a message came to him that he must come to a gathering of wizards at once. Gabriel wondered if the two events were connected and that made his frown even longer. Still, he decided to go.

And now he was here. He listened to the Wizards' speech and became more emphatic as it went on. In his travels he had witnessed some brutal skirmishes. After he was handed his map he was convinced that this quest to collect the artifacts was the right thing to do. When the witch summoned up all that equipment he spotted something he had been searching for. He saw a straightened out and polished tree branch that was topped by a glowing blue crystal.

Gabriel was more happy than had been in a long time. He quickly grabbed his staff and hugged it tightly. After a few moments he loosened his grip and looked at his new adventuring companions. He looked at his map and his staff. Gabriel decided that he was ready to start this quest as soon as everybody else was.
