Hello there, I've been wanting to start up an rp of this sorts for awhile, but just could never figure out how to prompt it. I'll give a quick rundown of what the rp will entail and how our characters will come into first contact with one another.
This will be a 1x1 rp.
Firstly, here's what the rp will be about ~ Questing/doing jobs for an adventurers guild as a newly fledged adventurer out to prove their worth. The quests and jobs will range from the most mundane of tasks to felling mythical beasts.
~This information is available on all 3 of my character's profiles, all of which will make multiple appearances within the rp.
Lina is a fresh face in the adventurers guild. Having of just applied she is tasked with taking on the mundane quests posted on the boards, labeled with grey stamps, as a sort of hazing process for newcomers. Normally, a seasoned adventurer would be assigned to support the newbie and show them the ropes, but due to Lina's age and size the veterans felt that she does not have what it takes and refused to assist her in becoming a fully fledged adventurer. Not to be disheartened Lina chins up and takes a look over the available quests.
This is where your character(s) comes in. Either as another newcomer or a seasoned adventurer. (You can use multiple characters as you see fit.)

Germinia (Grr-min-ee-ya) ~~ Fier
Each continent has it's own defining feature.
Larcen is the densely wooded continent of the west, inhabited by fey creatures, Elves, Halflings, Humans, Lizardfolk and more. The coastal regions are full of rocky beaches.
Remithor is the frigid and icy continent of the north, inhabited by Dwarves, Humans, animal folk (humanoid cats, dogs and other various furred/feathered humanoid creatures) and more. The coastal regions are actually rather warm.
Germinia is the continent of open plains and vast lakes. It is inhabited by Humans, Halflings, Orcs & half-orcs, Dwarves, Merfolk, Goliaths (huge human like people) and more. The coastal regions are full of beautiful beaches.
The southern continent is considered far too hostile to inhabit. It is littered with active volcanoes, aggressive wildlife and there are rumours of dragons residing there. No one has given the continent a name. No ship has ever returned after going near it.
There are various islands dotting the seas between the continents, but they are all considered neutral land. Some are inhabited.
Though races are native to certain continents, the invention of the ship has intermingled the various races across continents.
The capitals of each continent and their ruler(s) are as follows.
Larcen - Yemel (Yeh-mell) - Queen Juliana Feyweather ~ Human - Least influential
Remithor - Asiana (As-ee-ah-na) - King Issac Heyfall & Queen Oppal Heyfall ~ Animal folk (Polar bear) - Most influential
Germinia - New Germinia - King Thak'kar & Queen Jil'lakan ~ Orc & Half-orc respectively - Mid influence
The political stance of each continent is mostly neutral, with most hostilities taking place over the trade market. The seas are considered neutral ground right up until the coastlines. Even ports and docks are considered neutral grounds, not under jurisdiction of their respective continental ruler(s).
There is an adventurers guild which has established branches throughout each continent and houses offices at every major city and some small villages. In the towns/villages that do not have an office word of mouth and bulletin boards are used in it's place to send out quest information.
Magic does exist in the world, but it is still a fairly new concept and rather unexplored. Remithor is the most adept at magic, whilst Germinia is the least adept.
Technology in the world is medieval. Swords, metal armour, bows, horse drawn carriages, etc. Though clothing is a mixture of both old timey and modern.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.

Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.

I'd prefer you be a humanoid type character of reasonable size (Goliaths are a race that stand about 9-11 feet tall, so around there is considered reasonable.) You can be any race you so desire as they all exist within the world in some form or another.
Magic is not fully realized within in the world either, so magically adept characters can be discussed.
Other than that, I guess spiritual characters such as ghosts and spirits wouldn't work either.

My character is an elf character, with a few extra additions I am not sure how to describe just yet— she has an implanted ifrit soul if that even makes sense- that kinda on the short side? In her profile she is a criminal, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case here!
Also~ my replies are usually several paragraphs long and it can get pretty crazy depending on the amount of material I’ve been given to work with but I think my grammar might still need some improvement...

Aha, I'll gladly take you on. I'm rather rusty myself, but I'll do my best to provide you with material to work with.

Astrid seems like nice fit. Not being good with heat might be fun, cause it's going to be summer time. Aha. I think you can also weave Lilarius into the rp somehow at somepoint as well.
