The year was 3029. After years of war humans were practically eradicated. Everything reverted back to what would be referred to in the past as the renaissance era. Kings and queens. The world was divided into 7 kingdoms for the 7 continents. Iceria (Antarctica), Europia (Europe), Asinia (Asia), Kinera (Africa), Westerna (North America), Esterna (South America), Ausala (Australia). The kingdoms are at peace and have been for hundreds of years. All of them mind their own business.
Due to the past wars' use of nuclear weapons, humans mutated into mutants. Angel wings, element control, werewolves, these are just a few of the new mutations. Humans don't really exist. Now the race is known as The Specials. Being a special is normal. Being human makes you wanted. Human blood is universal for all Specials and is incredibly valuable. Within each kingdom are a few humans that are held captive for their blood. Kept healthy and alive, the humans are unable to leave or do anything that could harm them. Sadly all of them are unable to reproduce due to the effects of the war.
However, news of a human(Muse A)in the kingdom of (your choice what kingdom it takes place in) has spread rapidly. Selfish people are in search of the human to keep on their own for their own purposes. However, the king and queen have hired their most trusted and powerful assassin(Muse B ) to find the human and bring it to them unharmed.
((Eventually the muses should fall in love on their journey to the palace which would be forbidden as humans and specials are typically not allowed to interact unless it is for specific reasons.))

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
