Describe your all-time favorite romantic movie scene. It will be interesting to see how different peoples' tastes are. I'll start.

Movie: Ghost (with Demi Moore and Patrick Suaze)
Scene: When Sam's ghost lifts the penny up off the ground, carries it through the air, and puts it in Molly's hand (his girlfriend). Then he says to Oda Mae (the psychic): "Tell her it's for luck."

Probably showing my age, and my softness... But damn it if I didn't tear it up!

Movie: Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger)
Scene: When Jerry flies back to talk to Dorothy

Jerry Maguire: I love you. You... complete me.
Dorothy: Shut up. Just shut up. You had me at "hello."

Awww. Yay. That's a classic!

Come on, people. Let's go. I want more mushy feelings. *Cracks whip.* Lol.

Movie: Casablanca
Scene: The Airport … “We’ll Always Have Paris…”
There is a lot in this movie that is both romantic and tragic. The ending is both, and is quite romantic even if Richard and Ilsa don’t live “happily ever after” together.

Movie: Duff

Wesley is crowned Homecoming king. Bianca says to him "Aren't you going to get your crown?" He says "No.. I'm gonna get the girl." and kisses her.

I cry every time.

I don’t have one from a movie but from a musical Elisabeth.

When Elisabeth is murderd and seeing the death (Yup he is a caracter) and takes her old dress off well a brand new white one is under and slowly walks to him before kissing and dies in his arm.

Harry Potter Half Blood Prince: Ginny and Harry's first kiss. They are in the Gryffindor Common room.

Scene: Two (in order of favorite).
1. The very ending scene; "Mrs. Darcy..."
2. Darcy standing in the rain and professing his love

That sounds sweet. I haven't seem that but now going to add "Duff" my list of movies I want to rent on Vudu when we're sitting around at home bored.

I love musicals but have never heard of that one. I'll have to check it out. That's some heavy symbolism there.

Yes, I love that movie too! I love Keira Knightly in it, she's so pretty. And he's such a good leading man too! Those two scenes are so awesome. So...deep. It reminds me of Jane Ehyre (sp?). Ever seen that?

There's a scene where he says it's like their hearts are connected by a string. And he's afraid that string will break. I can't remember exactly but it's so romantic. Also the ending of Jane Ayre is soooo sweet.
