It’s late.
Not late enough to cause Aiyonne to be concerned for her safety, at least, no more than usual. The streets of City 1 were naturally dangerous, crawling with nefarious characters desperate for cash or looking for a quick fix. Around every corner, lurking in every alley it seemed there was always trouble in some form or another. There were no honest men here, only thugs and the scared populace they preyed upon. Since she was a child, Aiyonne had been hushed by her mama and taught to keep her eyes forward and head down whenever they went out, so that was her posture as she walked down the street towards her uncle’s garage.
Her family had been on this planet for three lousy generations, almost a century of struggle and tribulation on this forsaken rock. It’s easy enough to go to Earth, or so it’s said by those with the funds to finance such an endeavor. Aiyonne herself has never been to Earth, but her heart is sometimes stirred by the testimonies of the drug carriers that come through the garage.
The sack of groceries in her hand sways slightly as Aiyonne quickens her pace to cross an intersection. Today had been busy. It had begun with message on her communicator from her uncle that had woken her before dawn, alerting her to a scuffle a carrier had gotten into with the authorities while entering the atmosphere. The carrier had evaded the law, but not without taking damage and that meant that he was bringing his small shuttle to their shop for repairs. It was always nice to be paid, but now there was less than no room left in the already cramped garage, and two different carriers waiting on her to finish their respective vehicles. Not to mention that the carriers were each sponsored by a corporation of unsavory types that Aiyonne knew not to anger.
She had only called it quits after installing new insulation to the shell of the older shuttle. Usually her brother would help her with something so labor intensive, but he had been blowing her off in City 2 for almost a month now and she didn’t think he was coming back this time.
Aiyonne shakes her head to herself as she approaches the front entrance to the garage, rummaging through the inner pocket of her jacket for her key ring. Upon finding it, she turns her back to the street and inserts the key into the lock.

((Sorry guys, this rp didnt do too well and I lost access to my old account but I made another and the rp is now open to all if you'd like to join.
The backstory still remains. City 1 is the larger city with lots of crime and people and aliens alike mixed together.
City 2 is a wealthier area with higher class people in maintained streets live. Your character can start in either.
If anyone does chose to play have fun!))
