It was the usual late night in town, drunken idiots fighting,theifs stealing,and forges lit.when out of nowhere a loud ear piercing scream emits from the center of town.many townsfolk just ignored it like anything that happens in that town.however the monks in the monistary sensed a demonic presents.
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
