"A falmer?" She looked at him.
"The snow elves. They were enslaved by the Dwemer, and made blind. The poisons altered them into terribly deformed creatures..."
"Why would they do that?" Kin stopped.
"To keep them reliant on the Dwemer. This was hundreds of years ago though."
"That's not right. I hate slavery."
"Now they kill everything that isn't another falmer though... Or a chorus. They keep those as pets."
Kin frowned." I'm glad I wasn't in Skyrim back then."
"They're everywhere Dwemer ruins are, not just Skyrim. And they still exist. They live in the cities."
"I still say it's wrong to enslave them like that."
"Indeed, but the Dwemer vanished a long, long time ago."
"So did the ancient High elves." Kin looked at the sky.
"What? I see High Elves almost every day... They formed the Aldmeri Dominion..."
"The Old Ones where Ayleid or the Heartland High Elves. The ones you know now are Altmer ."
"What's the difference?"
"Ayleid were worshippers of Daedra and they knew how to harvest magicka essences from the sky."
"Hmm..." he shrugged, "Well... You might be interested in Dwarven ruins."
"Q elye eques násie." Kin shook her head." Sorry. Elven tongue came out for a second. I said if you say so."
He looked at her confused for a moment then nodded, "Are you sure?"
"About the language or the Dwemer ruins?"
"The ruins."
