He kissed her forehead and entered the general store.

Kin blushed and followed him.

He bought everything he would need for the trip, including two horses.
"You ready?" he finaly asked Kin.

"As ready as I can be." Kin had changed into her heavy ebony armor.

He smiled; it was strange to see any Mer in heavy armor. Dmitri mounted his horse with a grunt then smiled, "Let's be off."

She climbed onto her horse with ease. She pulled the horse to stand beside his.

Dmitri sent his horse off in a slow canter.
"What a fun adventure," he smiled.

"Riding's the boring part." She laughed. She kept her horse beside his.

"I know. I wasn't referring to this," he chuckled and patted his horse, "We'll be entering Skyrim near Hags End," he said, "It'll be a few days, but it's the only pass into Skyrim."

"Oh. Did you travel from Hags End to get here?"

"Yes. Dreadful place. It's a cave full of Hagravens... But it's the only landmark at the pass between Cyrodil and Skyrim."

Kin looked at him." What's a Hagraven?"

He raised an eyebrow, "You must have had a very happy childhood, comrade," he said before beginning to explain, "They're a terrible conjoining of woman and bird. They are fierce with claws as well as destruction magics."

"That sounds like a Demora a bit." Kin shivered.

"A little. Dremora are from Oblivion though, Hagravens are as natural as something like that can be..." he shrugged, "Theyve got crows claws for hands and feet... And really like fire and lightning magics."

"That I can deal with. Fire and lightning don't affect me too much."

He nodded, "Well... That's good for you," he chuckled, "We could go to my home to the south, or we could visit the capital."
