Kin took off her helmet." I might have to change armor. I'm not feeling so well." She wiped her eyes.
He nodded and removed his helmet as well then planted a kiss on her cheek, "Let me know if you need help."
"Dmitri, I'm gonna need a lot of help." She sighed, leaned against him lightly.
"I know..." he whispered and gently stroked her head, "Do you need help with your armor?"
"i got it. I need to get my other armor out anyway." She stood and hid behind a tree. She quickly changed into her lighter armor before walking back over.
Dmitri didn't even own real light armor, only a few fancy shields, but those were at his home so he waited patiently then walked towards Kin as she revealed herself again and he held out a hand to her.
Kin blinked before taking his hand. She seemed a little sadder than usual.
He pulled her close and tilted her chin up, "It's okay..." he kissed her lips, "I'm going to stay with you always, comrade. You're not alone."
Kin blushed as her heart thudded." Thank you, Dmitri."
He nodded and held his forehead against hers for a moment, "Anything for you... Let's walk for a while... Let the horses rest from carrying us."
"Yeah." Kin swallowed before pulling away a little and taking a deep breath.
He held onto her hand though and grabbed his horse's reins with his free one.
Kin smiled a little when she felt his hand. Her horse would follow her so she didn't grab the reins.
He gave her hand a gentle squeeze as he led them all down the long path towards Skyrim.
Kin looked at him." Dmitri....do you...like like me?"
He blushed deep red then nodded, "Friends do not kiss like that, am I right?" he laughed nervously.
Kin blushed and touched her lips with her fingertips before smiling." I guess they don't."
He took that smile as a good sign and nodded, smiling as well.
"I've never fallen for someone before."
"Well... Have you now?" he asked, just to confirm what he hoped.
