"Oh, we're bloody close now, lass." Bender answered."Very close indeed." Bender did not move an inch. The restlessness of the village below the hill they were waiting on got everyone on edge. At her question, Bender remained quiet, but Hooke gladly answered."You might if you keep acting pathetic." He spat. Bender gave the Orc a glare, but said nothing else about it.
It didn't take but an hour before Fantasm returned with the crew. The people rolling the cannons around were the most tired of all, and almost literally collapsed to the floor. once they reached. Norin quickly joined Bender and Stevie."By the deep, those 're a lotta critters. We past a couple o' corpses. Nasty lil' things. What's the plan, cap'n?"
Bender stood up."Load the cannons, bombard 'em. We charge them once they get to close to the cannons. Destroy 'em all. No survivors." The crew nodded as they drew their weapons and the cannons got loaded. After a few moment, Bender raised his steel fist."FIIIIIIIIRE! LEAVE NONE ALIVE!" He shouted as the cannons were being fired. The shot caused both Bender's cloak and sand to fly up.
The cannons hit their marks. Homes crumbled into nothing and hordes of three eyed monsters either fled in terror or charged fully for the unknown danger. Once they got too close, Bender started yelling again."Cut them down, lads! Work ta earn yer bloody pay! Roll some 'eads 'n widow the bastard's mates!" Among other friendly stuff. Like an army, the two sides clashed against one another in what would become a bloody battle.

A moment of rage, actual rage, surged through her. Hooke was a good guy at heart but he frustrated her to no end. Stevie frowned at his statement and, despite seeing the look Bender gave him, she felt like she needed to say something in retort.
"I'll remember that when I'm using ya as a meat shield...," she replied, her voice low in volume but loud enough to hear. Her attention turned back to the village below, but it was only momentary. Fantasm soon returned with the rest of he crew! A newfound nervousness and eagerness both coursed through her as the gravity of their impending battle dawned on her.
As Bender's speech progressed and everyone became riled up, Stevie couldn't help but to feel similarly motivated. She prepared her pistol for its next shot, deciding that there would be no need to become worried and depressed over ending their lives. Not right now. Once she was comfortably back on the ship she could regret it all and mull over it for days. It occurred to her briefly that she may not be cut out to be a pirate at all, even if Bender only wished for her presence to be temporary. But soon she realized that she'd lasted quite a while with them and even longer with Bender. She knew she could do it.
And so she charged.
((Sorry if there are many mistakes! I wrote this on my iPod lol.))

((Hardly found anything wrong!))
As soon as Stevie charged, Bender joined in as well. Gunfire was heard from all sides, and creatures as well as sailors dropped like flies. Luckily it was mainly the three eyed freaks that were dropping dead. It didn't take long or the pirates had pushed through them and made their way into the village."Torch the place!" Bender commanded as he snapped the neck of a creature with his mechanical arm."Get the buildin's th' cannons missed!"
Speaking of the cannons, they truly rained death upon the battlefield. Everywhere the cannons hit, buildings got leveled or dirt spewed upwards like a geyser, usually taking some creatures with it. Luckily Norin stayed back to guide the trajectory of the cannons so there'd be no accidental friendly fire. They were focused on the temple now. But whenever a cannonball made impact, it hardly dented the very Incan looking place.
This battle didn't come without a price, though. Many new sailors died, but someone more known would not make it either. Ambras and Solst were doing a good job of crowd control. Solst's fire kept the creatures from coming close, and Ambras' throwing knives always hit their mark. It was clear the Drow used to be an assassin of some sorts. But neither of them would see the daylight for the last time.
Solst's wide spread of fire made it difficult to see what lied ahead. Two throwing spears pierced the wall of fire. Fantasm was at the wrong place at the wrong time, casting his thunderbolts towards the temple. Without looking what was ahead, the pair of spears pierced right through the Elf's robes and straight through his heart and lungs."Gyaah..." Was all that he could manage to say before blood filled his throat and the rogue wizard collapsed to the floor like a sack of potatoes.
"Noo!" Ambras cried out as he ran for his Elvish brother. For the first time his scarf lowered and his face was shown. And it showed sadness. He took a few deep breaths and closed Fantasm's eyes before charging up for the creatures once more.
There was no time for Stevie or anyone else to grieve, though. From the destroyed roofs, more of the three eyed creatures would pop up, trying to flank the group from the sides, though a few of them they wouldn't need to worry about. A swarm of spiders was there to make short work of them, but Bugface's reach was limited.

Dealing with the cannons was something new to the halfling. She didn't like how loud they were not how close they were to possibly harming another but so far so good. It saddened her that death was something a few newer sailors experienced, and far too soon in her opinion. Still, she pressed on, eager to conclude this battle and help keep their deaths from being in vain.
Stevie was trying to keep her distance from the things and managed to see the death of Fantasm from where she stood. Although she didn't really know him, she had a sort of respect for him because of how trustworthy he proved to be to the crew despite being a magic user (magic being something she can't trust). That moment was far too brief. He died quickly and without fighting it - he couldn't. Even though she didn't know him personally, his death did gel make the tiny bing angry. Pair that with being distracted with watching it and turning back to he scene in time to see one of the creatures charging closer to the group, and you get one impulsive little Steve. She tackled it, having no time to prepare her gun again. She didn't think much about it, not did she pay attention to anything around her, but she sought to end the creature's life by her blade.

rolled 1d100 and got 81
Kick it's bootay!
Even Bender seemed distressed about Fantasm's death. The crew quickly took care of the menace in the roofs with their guns, though. But that meant no one was paying attention to Stevie when she tackled the three eyed creature.
Not that anyone needed to. Stevie was quite capable of taking it out quickly and with a very little mess. The surprised spear thrower had no time to claw the Halfling's eyes out, as it got its throat cut. It died with as little resistance as Fantasm did. And just like that, the others gave up.
The creatures couldn't handle it anymore. They screeched in their strange and unsettling way at the intruders who just destroyed their home and ran away. In a matter of moments, the cannonfire stopped and the village was turned into a ghost town.
Bender panted heavily as he put his gun and sword away."I'm gettin' too ol' fer extinction." He stated as he looked at his dead comrades."Hell, if I'd have known this would become so bloody, I'd have hired two more ships o' mercs." He sighed. At least the way into the mountain was clear now.
The survivors gathered on top of the temple, where they looked upon gigantic doors that lead into the mountain. Their securing of the village was met with no challenge, though the cannons had a hard time traveling across the sea of corpses these pirates had left behind.
"Norin, Bugface, Solst, Hooke, Stevie. I need ya all ta come with me. In case there's more critters inside 'n in case any o' ya scumbuckets might wonder whether I ain't hordin' the treasure fer meself." Whisperer and Ambras didn't come. Whisperer because the crew didn't trust him at all around gold, and Ambras was burying his fallen comrade. His mind was no longer set on profit at the moment.

Stevie was quite surprised at how well she did, but she wasn't proud. Right now she felt very little in the way of murdering these creatures, which were likely simply hostile because they had something to protect.
Something they were going to steal.
A mental inquiry was given to Sar, wondering if she was alright, but didn't dwell on it too much before she felt the relief that followed the other creatures' fleeing. Stevie, too, turned to glance at the fallen and closed her eyes briefly. Death wasn't something she enjoyed. Wasn't used to it. Didn't want it. She mumbled a quiet little apology to them before turning back to face the mountain. She followed along, still quite eager to see this room of treasures, but only because she wanted to know their efforts were not in vain. She didn't want those who died to have died without cause. Bender asking her to come was appreciated, and so she did! She was going to say something, but when he mentioned the second reason why they were coming along, her mind focused back on the words Sar had said to her back in the cave in the mountain. A satisfied smile crept across her features. She was oh so wrong! Stevie was happy for this, though - the man proved to be trustworthy even despite that ominous message! Her spirits were lifted a little and she rushed up to the group rather than trailing behind.
"Hopefully the toughest part's out of the way," she mumbled, staring up at the temple doors.

Sar understood the inquiry."I'm fine, Stevie. I was worried about you, though. I've never seen you so furious before. I never thought you would be the fighting type." And now Stevie would figure out Sar could sense her doubts as well."If it helps, I doubt these creatures were here to protect the treasure. These were tribals, dearest. Clearly they did not value gold like we do. These things might have been nomadic once and saw these doors on their travels, believing it to be godly. Why else would they build a temple right next to it?"
Sar's comment did make sense. The bottom part of the door was battered as if these creatures tried to break their way inside. Without success. The door just got a few dents and scratches in it. And then Bender tried opening it.
With his mechanical fist, it took but five smashes to create a hole through the doors, which he widened some more so he'd fit through. After crawling into the darkness, He looks through it."Someone bring a couple o' torches. I can hardly see me own hands in 'ere."
Soon, once everyone would be inside, Norin would bring a torch for everyone. Once that fire was lighted it was revealed just how long and gigantic this hallway truly was. The ceiling was very high and the walls had huge markings on them.
Norin went to check these out, and recognized some shapes. Dragons, Elves and other shapes of creatures he did not recognize. He couldn't help but gasp as he saw these wall markings told a story."Cap'n, this was a dragon's stash, once!"

Stevie heard the woman's voice and felt absolutely relieved. Still, she began to look troubled when she addressed the fighting. I didn't want to, but people were dying..., she explained. Did she really need to though? It was kind of a given. That makes sense... You got full access up there don't ya? Not just to thoughts I make about you, huh? Stevie actually chuckled aloud, right as she was slipping through the space Bender had made.
She looked around, but saw nothing until the torches arrived. When they did, she was amazed at the size of this place! Her eyes grew big and round, mouth agape just slightly. "Wow!" she gasped, approaching the wall close to Norin since he had a torch, observing.
"This is amazin'!" she cheered. If there was no treasure, she'd be a bit disappointed, but finding these paintings was a treasure in and of itself. She'd never seen anything like this before! She looked over to Norin. "A dragon?" Another thing she'd never seen before. She judged by the building, though, that there was no dragon. A dragon would need room to fly and roam and eat!

"Perhaps, little friend. I simply got to know you a little better. We are connected now, you and I, as long as my soul is not fully healed, you are my conduit to see what happens around the world. And I can't thank you enough for that." She explained before going silent once more.
Bender went to take a look together with Stevie."Really now? Elves managed ta kill the bloody lizard? Now there's a surprise." He mused. Norin chuckled a little as he traversed his light across the wall."This tells us a story, lass." He turned to Stevie."I'll what I can tell ya. Elves 'v always been a cryptic folk."
As the group walked down the long hallway, Norin told the story from what he could decipher."Apparently this dragon used ta be a real menace. Been kidnappin' 'n stealin' gold out o' the most rich cities 'round the world 'n bringing it into 'is hole 'ere." He explained."By the looks o' it, it were the Elves who got sick 'n tired o' this bullcrap 'n decided ta do somethin' 'bout this flyin' vermin. They lost 'n died fer generations long, 'till they got help from giants that used ta live on this island. Apparently the dragon started stealin' their young 'n they were tired o' it as well. Together they managed ta clip the flyin' vermin's wings 'n it crashed in the ocean."
"What about the treasure?" Hooke asked when Norin took a breather."It's here, lad. The giants 'n elves couldn't come to agreement to what should happen to the treasure, so they split it. Most o' it was taken with 'em for themselves. These cities had no idea their treasures laid with the elves. What's left o' it should still be 'round 'ere." Hooke nodded."They don't mention the bloody three eyed mongrels outside, do they?" Norin shook his head."Guess they were just in the way then."
Soon the group came to another pair of gigantic stone doors."Stand back, lads 'n lasses. I'll break us through this one 's well." He said as he started smashing through the stone doors like he did with the exterior ones.
"Get ready, little friend. The one you call your friend will soon show his true nature."

I like you. Dun understand why you were with Eli'Syn - you're much pleasanter, Stevie thought in response. GRAMMAR, Stevie! Jeeze!
The story awed Stevie as she listened to it. It was a luxury just to walk slowly after all that, so it was a nice change of pace. "Musta used magic, too, er somethin'," she mumbled. "I can't imagine anybody bein' able to get rid of a dragon. They're huge, ain't they?" She didn't expect to be answered, but she did continue walking nonetheless.
Hook was given a curious look when he asked about the treasure, then she turned to look to Norin as well. She was eager to know as well!
The Halfling watched as Bender began his assault on the doors. She envied him in a way - being able to force your way through stone walls and the like must have been convenient. She was excited, but not restless. In fact, she let her eyes wander to the others in the group, wondering how eager they were to get their hands on the treasure. She worried for a moment if they'd argue about who gets what, and if that was the case, she decided just to stay quiet.
And then Sar brought up what Stevie was convinced wasn't true. What she had thought had been proved wrong. Anxiety coursed through her in a very light quantity. "It'll be okay. You'll see," she whispered, both to herself and to Sar.

Solst was the one who answered Stevie in the Elven tongue."It doesn't take much special to take down a dragon. Cold steel and bravery are enough. A little bit of luck could come in handy too. I've yet to see a dragon myself, but stories always depict them as gigantic creatures. Could be stories lie, and the dragon was but a small fry. A powerful one, but small. We'll never know."
Soon Bender managed to break through the door, creating a hole big enough for everyone to walk through. Inside was a dream come true.
This was a large an open space. Sunlight came down in beams from the very peak of the mountain, revealing a magnificent beauty. The walls were neatly chiseled, the tables and chairs indicated Elves spending time here and the many old, though damaged tapestries had a great value when it came to history.
But that was not why Bender's mouth was gaping. Mounds of gold coins and gems piled up so high into the sky it was almost unbelievable that the Elves only took HALF of what was inside here. Chests, bags, cups, everything was filled with valuables, going from golden chalices to candles and even crowns."This... this is it.... this is it!" He yelled as he suddenly started laughing."Years I've spent trackin' this down! YEARS!!" He fell to his knees, overjoyed.
The others entered and were almost equally impressed. Hooke stayed extremely calm, though, almost as if he wasn't impressed. Norin at the other hand dived straight into a pile of gold, causing a landslide that was at least worth a house, much to the dismay of Mr. Pickle, who flew off as soon as a gold coin fell on his head. Even Bugface, who put no value on money, seemed impressed by the beauty of it all.
"Hell, Cap'n. I have to say, I didn't expect there would be anything in here. How are we even going to transport it all? We'll take at least two years to pick it all up, even with a fleet." Hooke stated.
Bender was about to reply, until a loud thumping sound was heard. With each thump, coins would make their way down. The old pirate looked concerned."Haven't we gone through ENOUGH!?" He yelled, knowing what would come next was not going to be friendly.
From behind a pile of gold came an old, broad and mostly tall creature with a beard that nearly reached the ground. Dirt, plants and even animals lived in that bush of hair. The hair on the creature's head was almost equally long. Its skin was dull, grey with a huge flat nose and equally thick lips with barely any teeth left. As it raised its bushy eyebrows, dust fell off which should have hit the creature's eyes, but there were none to be seen. They were gauged out.
It wore a completely shredded cloth tunic and a wide belt. It didn't wear pants nor shoes, and it wasn't armed. As far as giants went, this one was true to its name.
"I smell.... life. Unworthy life. You are... not of the U'larg'th...." He spoke in a very heavy, loud and slow voice."Elves? Coming to claim .... what is of us? .... No .... you smell different. Speak, strangers .... tell me .... why I should not kill you."

Stevie glanced over to Solst and smiled. "I guess you're right," she answered back in the same language. "I'd like to see one if it's small and not dangerous, haha!" It appeared as if her enunciation of words in Elvish was better than her common, mainly due to her accent. She was a bit afraid of shortening the words in Elvish because it might completely skew the word.
As they walked through, Stevie's eyes widened and the biggest grin appeared on her face. "Whoa!" she shrieked. The little woman timidly approached some of the treasures, poking and prodding at it, picking it up and analyzing it. It was actually there! Awesome.
And then came the thumping and the collapsing of gold coins. Oh. No. No no no! Noooo! What was that?! Stevie turned toward the source of the noise, backing away when it came into view. At that point, she scrambled to rejoin the group, standing amongst them.
Stevie had never felt so small in her life. Everyone around her was minuscule in comparison to this thing, so what was she? She discovered a love for orcs after seeing this creature. And in a way, she felt almost bad for being afraid. It couldn't help what it was.
The Halfling wasn't sure what to say. "He doesn't have eyes...," she finally whispered. "We could prolly sneak away and not get squished to death! Could grab a couple handfuls and go-"
Sure, she might have sounded cowardly, but it was logical to her. "Life's more important, right? We already lost enough people...." She was trying to be quiet. Didn't want to draw unwanted attention from the giant.

Bender couldn't help but stare at the giant, down on his knees. The others tried to hide behind something as to not get directly squished by the thing. But not Bender. He simply couldn't believe it."No!" He yelled all of a sudden."I spent half me life lookin' fer this! People DIED fer this! I ain't leavin' me prize behind!" The captain yelled, filled with anger, but also sorrow. Like a child who just lost his best friend.
"Cap'n, I hate admitting it, but the street rat is right! Not even with an army we could defeat a gods-be-damned giant!" Hooke yelled from behind a chest. If even Hooke agreed with Stevie, that had to mean this was serious. Yet Bender didn't budge. He was in despair. What was he to do? Listen to his greed and insanity, or his crew?
What would a good captain do?
"I may be blind, intruders ... But I can hear you. I can smell you ... and I feel your presence. You shall take none ... of what belongs to the 'Larg'th!" The giant roared as he took another step forward.
"Snap out o' it, Cap'n. This ain't worth it!" Norin yelled, and then Bender stood up, still distraught over the fact his life goal cannot be completed, even when he was so close. If this was karma for all the things he'd done, it truly was a bitch."Grab what ya can, lads! Chests! Bags! anythin' ya can carry!" He drew his sword and pistol."I'll hold this big fatty off." He said as he charged for the Giant. The others, clearly worried about his fate decided to take what they could.

If this is what Sar meant, then she supposed it made sense. If his true nature was to be excessively greedy, then that would make sense for a pirate. However, this wasn't something she wanted to just brush off and run from. He was putting himself in danger here for treasures! For something he himself could snatch and run away as well. What was the use in fighting? Stevie realized this and called out to him.
"Cap'n! You're going to get hurt! If you want it so bad start running and grab a little on your way out! You're going to get yourself killed and it won't even matter after that! All this work you've done will be something you could never enjoy, even if it's just a fragment of what you expected it to be. C'mon!"
Stevie wasn't too sure if she should stay and try to pry the old man away or just do as he told. After a moment of debating, she finally ran up to the man and began tugging on his cloak. She wasn't blessed with strength, so she couldn't pull hard, but she was very adamant. She kept going on about how it wasn't worth it any time she had a moment between grunts.
((Sorry it's short! iPod again.))

Bender was about to charge up his fist until he got stopped by his companion. He had heard her initial warning, but something stopped him from turning back."Lass, I was doomed from the moment this thing appeared!" He shouted at her."I can't bloody run fast 'nough!" The others were gathering up as much treasure as they could hold while Bender and Stevie spoke. The Giant was bending over to swipe at the menace."Watch out!" He yelled as he dived away with Stevie in his fleshy arm, right into a pile of gold, from which another landslide of gold came down upon them.
Hooke carried a pair of bags filled with gold coins."Cap'n! We all know yer slow 's a snail. But at least try! Don' throw yer life away! Listen to the street rat!" Bender heard as he got up again. Well, Hooke sure seemed to agree with Stevie a lot as of late."Move, little one! This Giant will not stay this slow forever!" Solst yelled out, who couldn't hold much riches in his arms due to his wound.
Bender took a long look at Stevie. How could she care so much for an old man and his greedy life? He took a deep breath."Fine. I'll go." He decided as he swiped his mechanical hand through the pile of gold. What fell down along the gold was a wooden chest. The type a pirate would bury for some reason. Inside it was filled with all sorts of gemstones."This'll do. Let's move, lads! I ain't comin' this far ta become a giant's breakfast!" He yelled as his crewmates ran for the hole in the doors.
"You think to steal ... what is ours?!" The Giant cried out as he ran for the doors. Of course, he could open them!"Stevie, run! Yer a fast lass! Warn the others! We'll follow ya!"
(Sorry if the post sucks. It's boiling hot here and it's draining my everything Dx ))

((Don't worry about it! . I hope it cools off for you soon. .))
((I read this: Bender took a long look at Stevie. How could she care so much for an old man and his greedy life? And thought of Tsundere Stevie. "IT'S NOT LIKE I LIKE YOU OR ANYTHING! B-BAKA..." And then I lol'd because I'm imagining this little kid lookin' person saying that to an old fart. I need a life. .))
Stevie frowned. "You can't not try, Captain! You just can't!" she shouted back. She opened her mouth to begin shouting some more, but wound up being snatched and silenced. They hit the metal mound with more force than she'd have liked, but she was mainly cushioned by old-man-arm.
She looked over to Hooke when he began to agree with her. "See? Even he agrees! It's not worth it. There's still a chance if you try!" MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES GO GO GO! And then she heard the Elvish. She looked between Solst and Bender, wanting to move but waiting for the old man to make up his mind first.
Stevie absolutely beamed when he agreed. She jumped up and grabbed a few things of jewelry (she could wear it as she ran - easy!), a chalice full of coins, and one of her satchels full of coins as well. She had to be careful though, since she couldn't carry much without it being too heavy. Thankfully jewelry is valuable without being too heavy! In any case, she fled.
Her little legs carried her as fast and far as she could manage. She didn't dare look back after she heard the booming voice of the giant, oh hell no. She was hoping something fierce that everyone she left behind would make it out alright. She was hoping she'd make it out alright, too....
By the time she began to see the others, she started screaming about the giant. Whether or not they could hear her didn't matter since she was going to keep screaming about it until she passed them and made her way toward the ship. She was NOT sticking around there.

((It's a little better. The airconditioner broke down, so that's not help all that much. But it could be worse!))
((O lawd, I cannot unsee that! The way I typed it did sound a lot more romantic than I had intended xP. Now I picture Bender replying like "Wassat, Billy? You wanna rake the lawn? nyeeeeegh." ... you let me know where you get a life. I could apparently use one too.))
The giant bursted the doors open.Thieves! You ... will die today!" He yelled. The pirates ran for their lives, and found a second breath and increased speed due to the likelyhood of dying a messed up death. Even Bender ran faster than usual.
Outside, the remaining pirates looked confused towards Stevie. "Giant?" Whisperer asked. Some of them followed Stevie, including Red and Ambras, who had just finished burying his fallen friend. There was no time for a memorial, though.
Bender and the others soon appeared through the gates, but by then it was too late. The giant burst through that one as well, and though Bender was smart enough to yell 'scatter', Whisperer was incredibly unlucky as the giant's foot landed right on top of him. He hardly had time to scream of he was squished.
The giant didn't chase them all the way down the jungle, though. Halfway through it gave up, otherwise losing his way back to the mountain, but the pirates did scatter far. Not all of them came back together.
Hooke, Norin and Solst soon joined back at the camp the pirates had build to rest up. Bender was not there yet.

((My search for a life has been tiresome, and I've given up. OH WELL ON TO POSTING.))
"YES, GIANT! GET UP AND RUN!" she yelled at Whisperer with a tone similar to the one a person would use if asking: DID I STUTTER?
Carrying all this was hard for her, and she'd even lost a few coins from the chalice, too, but that was alright. As she continued to run, she looked back just in time to see the guy she'd just yelled at get squished! She released a quick scream, both out of terror and sadness, but it wouldn't last. She needed her breath to run.
Eventually, they managed to get away from the thing. The moment they did, Stevie collapsed. Stevie's legs were like gelatin after all that, and she was quite shaken! But that was likely the case for any of the other guys as well.
It later, a time shortly after Hooke, Nprin, and Solst arrived, that she realized that Bender had not yet returned to camp.
"I'm gettin' worried," she said suddenly, but quietly. After a moment of sitting still in silence, she took off her satchel (the one with gold and jewels in it) as well as what jewelry she wore (she forgot about it) and placed them in a pile near Solst. "Keep an eye on it, please. It's not mine, but it would still be frustrating if it went missing."
Stevie didn't really explain much. As far as anyone knew she could've been going to the bathroom! Or, well, bushes. Whatever. But no, she was walking off to seek Bender and bring him back, whether he was dead or alive. Unless he was squished. She'd probably just freak out and bury him there or something. But she tried not to think of that.

Norin was visibly iritated as well, kicking shells and coconuts that were in the way as he paced around. The others were calm, until Hooke spoke."We can't wait forever. Those who aren't back at sundown will be left behind. Including Bender!" He ordered, already having taken up the job of being the new captain while it wasn't sure yet whether Bender had died or not.
Solst seemed surprised at Stevie's drop off."You are far too honest with these riches, little one." He spoke, but didn't object. He'd watch over them, if only to claim them for himself should Stevie not return.
Stevie would have to look rather deep in these jungles to find Bender. But eventually she'd hear his voice."Is this yer gratitude, ya bloody abomination!? I offered me ship as a home! I took ya in!" He yelled. Stevie might have noticed a great amount of spiders crawling around over the ground and the trees. ... spiders?
A bit further, Bender hung from a branch, his back sticking to a white goo, in a coccoon of these creepy crawlies. There was an awful lot of webs spanning the area as well. In the middle of it all was ... Bugface? What? Why does she want to harm Bender?
The Ettercap was extremely twitchy. More so than usual. She had always seem a bit jittery, especially on the ship, but this was extreme."Told captain not go Syn. Captain no listen. Captain kill Syn. Now Bugface cursed. Hurts Bugface. Does not stop hurt. Captain die now." She screeched her justification towards Bender in a mad tone.

Just when she was ready to flop over and rest did she hear distant squabbling. Stevie ran toward the familiar voice, happy to hear there was life in it. When she rushed through, she heard Bugface's own voice and began to notice the abundance of spiders. Oh boy.
Stevie rushed through the brush. "Bugface!" She squeaked, her voice drenched in confusion and disbelief. "What are you talkin' about?! That knight we picked up killed Eli'Syn. Bender didn't! Now get him down! This is crazy!"
Her attachment to he ettercap mad her feel free to be aggressive toward her as friends can be. Still didn't she mention something about a curse? They should get to the bottom of this, but preferably when Bender was no longer stuck in a web.
