Basically, what do you like most in your OC’s that- you know makes them seem similar but you still add into their character profiles every single time. Or at least, nearly every single time.
For me, it is those wings. Bird wings, butterfly wings, I don't care anymore, I just enjoy giving them wings so much I don’t even care if it is getting repetitive haha

Name checks out.
Well I tend to make my OCs thinking types instead of feelers, because I prefer them by a lot as characters. But I do try and make some of them feelers, it's just the ones I make are naturally more prone to be thinkers.

I've noticed I have a soft spot for really fighty women with swords, who use those swords to protect their significant others that often don't need protecting.
Gotta put some of me into each character. So something along the lines of sarcasm, toughness, or sassiness
I'd have to say my guilty pleasure is giving my characters rather sad backstories. I think the only characters of mine who don't have depressing backstories are my Pokemon trainers
Oh! I also like to make my characters either really shy or really headstrong. I don't think I've had a character be both yet

I love making characters that have the uncanny ability to break the fourth wall and/or reference the real world. All of my characters at some point have mentioned the Kansas City Royals or some other sports team, music x video games, or something else they should have no knowledge of.
I put a strong focus on variety. I have a number of characters who are shapeshifters in some capacity, or else good at putting on an act. My most obvious actors are a bit nefarious with it, but Alabastra would also qualify as a good actor and she uses it almost exclusively to maintain the peace.
I also have a lot of dark-skinned females, for some reason. The ones that aren't tend to be exceptionally pale.

My oldest characters have aged up with me, and my newest characters are (mostly) close to my age, at least in appearance and mannerisms.
None of my characters has a wardrobe I myself wouldn't wear if I had the choice. I'd totally go pastel goth or full strega if I had the money to do it

Ahaha, seems like everyone has their own style huh~ I just realised this as well, but I make a lot of Japanese and Chinese characters, probably because I am Chinese as well haha
Making my little babies get abused. It’s an awful thing to do, but they always have some point where they kill the person who is hurting them or they leave and it’s this HUGE thing I don’t really mean to do to them!! But I can’t help it! I love the drama and the anxious feeling you get when you see what happens next!
Making them a bit cocky and egotistical. It's kind of a guilty pleasure lol. All my characters are simalar though, it might be after me a bit lol.
Oof, so this is kind-of obvious once you’ve had a conversation with me, but I am a big fan of boy/boy relationships, so all of my characters must be male and attracted to other males. After doing it for so long, it’s gotten to the point where I can’t create a female character at all, or a straight male.
I only play females (with the exception of pets, familiars, and animals) and I love playing characters that are sapient but not human, and usually naive or completely new to modern civilization or something. I like the concept of introducing a character to something foreign, as well as dramatically changing their lifestyle. There are a few exceptions but their naivete manifests in other ways. Sometimes I'll play someone who never socialized unless absolutely necessary and their "character arc" is all about learning to talk to people. Other times I'll play someone who grew up in an environment free of violence, cruelty, and suffering, so perhaps they're all too trusting and can't seem to grasp what's happening when someone is mean or violent.
My non-ace/aro human females? They're all gay. I've given up the guise of it being 'representation' long ago and accepted the fact that I am scum.
On a lighter note, i'm really into giving my humans unnatural hair colors even though I try to reserve that trait for my few pokémon characters.

My guilty pleasure? ...Making dark-skinned or tanned characters. I only have around two or three pale-toned mains that I work with extensively on a regular basis. I never see many dark-skinned characters in media, so a small fascination with adding more of those kinds of characters ended up affecting almost all of my main ones. Oops.
Bonus points if a dark-skinned character has an unnatural eye color like blue or green (Merrin and Meliere).
I also have way too many bisexual, pansexual, or no label characters. I only have one straight character (who's seventeen), one gay character (who's bi-romantic), and one ace/aro character. Write what you know most, right? Heh heh, help. ;w;
(As a side note, I may also have an accidental tendency to give my characters names that start with the letter M more often than I'd like to admit.)

All of my ocs are guys and they all hate their parents- I don't know why. Before you ask, no, I don't hate my parents.
Having a variety of characters to roleplay which brings me a wide range of emotion. I got a angel pirates mercenary rouge cop nasty men women vampire werewolf.
All of my OC’s just wanna live normal lives and unfortunately. Their circumstances won’t allow it. All of them are OP’d or ridiculously hard to kill due to their power or strategic and clever mindset. Not impossible though. They all make mistakes and it costs them. Making them human or imperfect with all these gifts is my guilty pleasure.
Tails. I think I can count the number of non-tailed oc's I have on one hand. Also inhuman charaters. Like with tailed oc's, I can count the number of regular human oc's I have on my hands. EVeryone has some knd of power, or unique mutation, or something to make them non human, or atleast look non human.
IDK if this counts as a guilty pleasure or not, but most of my characters are women as well. I think it's because I relate more towards women than I do men, at least partly due to my upbringing. Only had two guys, my dad and grandpa, that I interacted with regularly.
Also Armor. I freaking love a badass armor design, whether it be fantasy based or futuristic.
And lastly, sentient objects. Don't have many of these, only one I actively use is Sarus's sword Fang. But I love the concept and need to make more oc's like that.
