Hi, everyone! I've technically been on this site for a while, though I haven't done anything until, well, now. I'm somewhat new to forum RP, though I have experienced a small level of it when Roblox had a RP forum. I dunno if that really counts, but if not, then I guess I'm going to have to wing it.
Now, I do have to warn all of you- I am not a professional writer, nor have experience in writing actual stories- though I do believe I am good at writing backstories. I guess you might say that I am going to use my first few RPs as a learning experience, to try and set high standards for my writing. So, please, if you could bear with my bumbling ineptitude!
I like mostly any RP- I'm pretty open to most. The only ones I won't do is if the primary is horror or romance. I can deal with either being secondary. What I do like is something that is a blend of Fate/Stay Night and Star Trek- not genres, but themes, to be specific. I like how they explore the deep questions, like, "What is morally correct?", or, "Why is 'blank' like this?". I also like relationships- NOT strictly in a romantic sense, though I am open to that. However, I also like a good deal of action, though I find nonstop action tiring.
Last paragraph! This one is really about the Character I set up, Auren Corve. I haven't finished with him, but if anyone looks at him, can they give me their opinions on him? Is he good, does he need work, is he overpowered? If you do do this, thanks for the (non-monetary) tips. I just want to ensure my character can be multifaceted, while being able to mesh well with others, or other stories, at least.

Formal and perfect welcoming to RPR, Dark born, its a pleasure to have you finally come out and grace us with your long but also pleasing and understandable introduction. You really are a bright and open person to meet and finally have exposed out for rp.
It's really interesting to know you put such a great effort to your character's backgrounds and dont worry, you will find having a front story line in Rp to be tricky at first. But after awhile with lots of help and support from everyone, youll find that its fairly easy

Welcome! It took me a while to actually post anything on the site at first, too. 
About your character, Auren, I think what you've put on his profile is a good start! There's always more room to grow and add later on once you start RP'ing with him and meeting new friends and enemies for him, ya know? :> I don't think he reads as under or over powered, and I imagine he could join a lot of different genres! I bet he'll fit right in.

Hello! No worries about length of time - I think a lot of us waited a bit to post introductions.
As for Auren, I'd say he'll only come off as overpowered if you play him that way. Let him struggle sometimes and it'll be fine, I'm sure.
