My name's Marin, but you can call me Mari if you'd like. I've been an avid roleplayer for like--the majority of my life now. I'm big into fantasy, magical girl and Nintendo fandom stuff in terms of what I like to RP, and I tend to enjoy action/adventure themes with plenty of opportunities for fighting, danger or challenging oneself. I tend to come up with stupid but creative character concepts and then put my passion into writing them well. I'm a big fan of both mechanical/dice and freeform RPs for their own reasons, so outside of my dorky interests I consider myself pretty flexible!
I'm really hoping to make some friends with some shared interests, get in on some RPs and write some compelling stories to share with my RP partners. c:

That's right! Right now the only question I really have left is about finding people who want to roleplay with me. I get the impression I should create my own RP ad, since many of my favorite themes and tropes are a bit out there compared to the norm and I might not have luck asking random people.

Hey Hikari! Thanks for the warm welcome! Gosh, I have fond memories of watching Markiplier. He had a way of being both entertaining and very... wholesome. I'll definitely take you up on that offer though! Just as soon as I get enough time to read through your profile. I noticed it's full of relevant information. Is that common? =o For once in my life I didn't bother setting up my about me before I got started. ||D

I noticed it's full of relevant information. Is that common? =o For once in my life I didn't bother setting up my about me before I got started. ||DYeah its pretty common. Though some have pretty sparse profiles. I found having a profile with some flair and info on you shows you care. Its a great way to get folks to approach you.
