Kitty here with another fun-filled edition of 'The Cat's Meow'! Last month, you may have noticed that there wasn't an interview for all of you to enjoy... The New Year brings in crazy, busy times that took me away from the chance to put anything up for you. But never fear! Kitty has brought back your favorite member spotlight!
This month, we are introducing a great RPer, and all around interesting guy!
Blackito is February's Spotlight, and I've already had the pleasure of RPing with him!
But, let's get to know him a bit better.
Kitty: Let's start with the basics! The easy questions first! What brought you to RPR?
Blackito: I was looking for a better site to use for profiles, rather than Freewebs, Wix or Weebly. They were getting tedious to use. I did some searching and couldn't find anything, but I kept seeing more and more people using RPR. I eventually looked through it, and I actually think CelestinaGrey got me to come here after I asked her about it.
How long have you been RPing?
Ah... 10 years, I think. That sounds about right. I started on a shoddy 2.5d mmo called Endless Online, then Furcadia.
Do you have any other sites you RP on?
Nope. Rpr is the only site that I rp on.
What is your favorite genre to Roleplay?
This is a hard one, but I find myself drawn more to high fantasy, fantasy medieval and other fantasy genre's. Urban fantasy is fun, but I haven't had a chance to get involved too much with it.
Meow! I'm a fantasy-loving cat myself. Do you have a favorite character?
I really don't think I do. I have a lot of characters who I like to play, but I really can't say that I have a favorite, or at least I can't pick one from the bunch. I consider them all my favorite. Even the ones that get burned out and can't be used anymore.
How do you come up with ideas for characters?
Randomly. Sometimes I see something that gives me ideas and I work from there, but most of the time it's the thought that I don't have ??? and I really would like to have a ??? so then I go and I make ??? and then I am happy.
Do you prefer to play a specific gender of character?
Nope! I play all genders if I have any plan for it. I've been told I play good females, but I am not so sure about that as of late.
Who is your favorite famous cat?
Well.. I'd have to say our own resident Kitty of RPR fame, as I do not know of others to have a favorite.
Oh ho ho! Well said, sir! Do you prefer to RP via forums, messages, or IM?
Forum rp is nice, it really is, but for years I've always done IM rps and they are what I prefer. They worked so much better, but I do enjoy Forum rping, because I take care of my mother, and sometimes during a IM rp, I get called away for several hours. With a Forum rp, it's easier to keep things on a 'post at your own pace' level. I hate feeling like I am holding a group rp up. [which is why I stick with 1x1's even on a forum level] It's nice to have understanding partners as well, even in a group rp.
Do you enjoy cotton candy?
I do! I haven't had it in years, but I love it. There was a really good limeish cotton candy that I had a few years ago and I totally want more ;_;
Do you play any video games? If so, do you have a favorite?
Oh boy. This is a question I am MADE for. I play game, a lot. Gaming and Rping are the two things that take up the most of my time, or I like to think they do, haha.
Currently it's a mixture of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, and Way of the Samurai 4. I picked up a ps3 on my birthday and have been sinking a lot of time into it. Another game I have been spending a lot of time playing is Dynasty Warriors: Gundam series.

I was so sad there wasn't a Cat's Meow for January! I really love these! I've had the pleasure of chatting with Blackito before, and he is a pretty cool guy. Keep these coming Kitty
