Hello and Welcome!
Ever played the game Clue? That's exactly what this is, but in an RP! A small group of players will be gathered in a single location due to a letter stating they're owed inheritance from the previous owner of the mansion Blackwall. However, upon arriving, each guest will find that the doors are locked. And the only way out is to find the key that was taken from the previous owner's body.
The trick? One of the players is the murderer!
How do you solve the murder? By searching clues left behind by the player who's the murderer. How to go about it is up to each character. You can choose to be blunt and threaten other hosts, or play it cool and search their belongings later. Some will team up while others will create enemies as they desperately try to stay alive in a mansion full of secrets.

Rules To The Game:
Length: All posts should be a paragraph at the least, so that everyone can contribute something. The writing should be easily readable with good grammar. Perfection isn't needed, but if more than one person can't understand, then there's a problem. Try to be neat with your posts, separate them if more than one character is active.
Content This is a mature RP about murder, so obviously all content is allowed. But still try to be respectful of others. We will message each other before hand to make sure everyone is okay with the content and isn't confused, especially since this RP is posted in both threads.
Murder: The murderer will need to slowly kill off other players! This is how everyone will slowly figure out who's it. Once that person has been caught, the other players have been killed, or everyone unanimously agrees to give up, the murderer will reveal their plans (via a locked thread) to the party, and the next killer can be chosen.
Characters: As stated above, characters will need to be killed off for the killer to be caught, so more than one character is perfectly allowable. However, please stay in the setting of the game! Further details can be discussed as a group.
How It Works:
1ST: Once the amount of players is decided, we will then discuss whether or not to have secondary characters and NPCs. NPCs are small characters there for theatrics, but they don't need to be controlled at all times.
2ND: Everyone will pick a number, depending on the amount of players. Then, a random generator will choose which number is the murderer. DO NOT SHARE YOUR NUMBER! If you're picked, just know that it's your job to commit murder. This means that it's possible for more than one person to be a murderer, and that's fine!
3RD: A second number will be picked for an Overseer. The overseer automatically plays the butler, and also writes up the scene deaths when someone dies. This means that you're the only person who can know who the murderer is. And your job is to make sure their evidence is placed in the story. If the murderer wrote their own crimes, then we'd obliviously be able to tell it was them when they posted it. So the overseer is very important! Unfortunately, this also means the overseer can't be the murderer, and has to be the one to tell other players when they've been chosen to die.
The murderer should have a plan prepared on how they want to kill. This is so the overseer can describe it in their posts.
4TH: Meanwhile, everyone has the choice to post in the open forum, or to message privately between eachother. Posting openly means speaking to the crowds and exploring the rooms to seek the killer. Messaging privately is when you'd like to speak to a character one-on-one. This can be used for starting alliances, persuading others for information, threatening others, or to simply create a more secretive atmosphere. When a private conversation is taking place, be sure to note it in the public forum, but you don't have to give away the details.
5TH: Once the Butler (Overseer) has made the opening post explaining the murder and the mansion (design layout and host is the Overseer's choice each time) to the players, it will be the murderer's job to make periodic appearances. No details about appearance or basic information can be given when attempting a murder! The overseer must post their demands using a blank slate. Each time, a piece of evidence of the killer's choice will be left, and players must slowly make an assumption until someone is caught, a victim is blamed, or everyone lies dead.
6TH: And finally, the most important thing is that everyone is guilty of something. Whether it be out of paranoia or crime, make sure not to make yourself too innocent. Everyone should try to play along to appear suspicious, that's the fun of the game! You're free to mimic the murder or use false evidence to trick other players!
Interested? Please let me know here, so I can get a count of the characters! There's currently two already interested, so a party of five would be great! Details will, of course, be worked out together as a group. So don't get too worried by the rules! Hope to see you at the party!
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.

Feel free to!
If this is still open I’d like to join with this character.

While it is open, unfortunately we're looking for historical accuracy with the characters, and Olivier doesn't quite fit. You're welcome to use another character though if you're still interested!
Would Louise fit better? She can fit into a less modern time and come across as more historically accurate character if need be.

She might work. Feel free to read the Group rules for characters, that might help too.
