Verona Academy is a school with many branches to choose from. Science, art, programming, whatever course you can think of, you will find one here. Students from age 16-18 come from all over the country to enrol in this academy.
It's most famous for its excellent teachers, spacious dorms and plenty of free time activities.
First day of school, on a sunny day, the students are waiting outside to be handed their dorm keys by the teachers. Once that is done, they set off to find their rooms.
(Yes, characters that are magic creatures and magic in general is allowed. Freeform, please at least one paragraph responses)

I stood at the entrance, a heavy sports bag in my arms. The small parking lot was packed, people in all shapes and sizes hurried to grab their dorm key from one of the many teachers, their parents following close behind, carrying their children's luggage.
A young man approached me. He asked for my name.
"Pasha Vasiliev" I shot back. He nodded, made a tick on his list, and handed me a key with a small paper strip attached. He vanished as quickly as he appeared, leaving me to figure out where my dorm room could possibly be on my own.
Room number 65, the small paper strip read. I looked up, scanned the area. I could find that, no problem. If I get there in time so I could unpack and still make it to my first lesson was debatable.

Ashley walked up to the door lugging her own bags. A short teacher with short brown hair walked over and asked her name, "Ashley" she replied. The teacher looked at her, "last namee also please" Ashley looked at her blankly before stating, "I dont have one", "I see" said the teacher looking down her list she checked off a name and said "your dorm is 67, straight down there and to the right". Ashley nodded gratefully and walked down the path the teacher had pointed out.
I made my way down the alley of dorm buildings. 61... 62... oh, here, 65. Letting out a breath, I dropped my bag and unlocked the room.
(I'd like to join if I may, but first a question: How magical are we talking here? Is being humanoid a necessity? I can tweak characters if necessary to fit you see. Heh)
I walked into the building, applied myself since I left my parents a few years ago. I go up to some guy, "Clarissa Lanchester?" I ask for my dorm key. He checks my name off and hands me a key, "Dorm 64". I walk down the hall with my bags. I get to my dorm, laying down my bags onto my bed. I see the empty bed across from mine with a shrug, questioning if someone will share a dorm with me. I sigh and set my bed with my blue bed set, decorate a little, put my clothes into my little dresser, setting my makeup products on top. I place some objects and picture frames on the shelf by my bed. I smile and paint my side of the wall, some cute designs around on the wall by my bed.

They should be at least humanoid I guess.
(Would more human looking son of a Selkie work? I haven't gotten any art of him in non fandom form but there's really no reason I can't paint him pink/peach lol)
((Hi, could I join at some point?))
((Everybody can join, no need to ask))
Ashley sighed as she set her bag down on the floor. Looking over the schedule Ashley had been given she realized her first class was in a few minutes and she had no idea how to get there. She hurried out of the dorm and to the main building where she found one of the ushers and asked where classroom 5A was located. He pointed to one of the buildings and gruffly said, first floor, lecture hall 5A is right by the stairs. Ashley ran towards the building and got to the door of the classroom just as the clock struck 9 am. She walked through the door and up the rows of chairs to the back, sitting in the corner chair. When she had gotten sat down and situated the teacher walked through the doors and began introductions.
I walked across the courtyard. Trying to blend into the surroundings and not draw little to if no attention. I kept looking for people who were giving out dorm keys. After doing another circle around the premise a young blonde woman came bounding over to me, a big grin on her face. I smiled back slightly. She then looked down at her clip board suspiciously and then back at me, demanding my name. “Dimitri Hadley” I said in a low voice. She smiled as she found my name and produced a key. I looked down at the number but before I could read it she was walking me to my dorm room. I was confused but let her drag me along. 61..62..63..64.. she stopped at a halt outside 65. She then waltzed off and left me face to face with the door. Slowly I reached for the handle, unlocking the door. Opening it. I walked through the door, pulling my case through the threshold.
*kim walked to the front desk, dragging two, very heavy bags behind her. She walked up to the desk and showed the teacher a paper* "ah! kim yung! the special needs student from asia?" "yeah" "here is your room key, room 68, now, just remember that a student council member will come to your room to help remove and put on your arms, right" "yeah i know" *the teacher smiles* "here is your appliance clearence card for their charging dock." "thanks" *she starts walking to her room*
"66."
The teacher handed Grey a set of keys as they stood outside the dorm door. He lifted his hands and shook his head.
"I, uh, can't touch it," he shrugged simply.
The teacher eyed him, then sighed, "Magical, aren't you. This school's full of them."
The teacher opened the door for Grey and placed the keys on the nearest desk. Then she left without another word. Grey stared after her until she disappeared around the corner before slipping quietly into his dorm.

I go on my computer, blasting music as I decorated and sorted my things more. I was hoping nobody would be bothered by it. I sighed and sat my computer set it on top of my dresser, turning down the volume a bit.
Arianne's parents had just dropped her off on Verona Academy's campus. She had dreaded this day ever since her parents told her she was enrolled shortly before summer began. ''It's only for your own good! You're skipping school way too much with no one really there to watch you,'' her mother said. Arianne sighed, as she knew arguing about this with her parents wouldn't help the situation. ''Just for a year, and then we'll see from there,'' her dad added. ''Ugh, fine!'' She knew it was too late now anyway, so she just gave in.
She made her way to the dorm building, towing her bags behind her. At least she'd have a room to herself. She lined up at the registration desk and ticked her name off the list when her turn came. ''Room 74.'' She walked down the hallway, past the other students' rooms, trying to catch a glimpse of the others wherever she could. She heard music coming from one of them, but couldn't make out exactly which tenant was playing it.
Once she reached her room, she reluctantly unlocked and opened the door. She really didn't want to be here. As she opened the door, she looked around. Not much, apart from a desk, a closet and a bed - and another bed on the other side of the room. She rushed back to the registration desk and confronted the professor who was handing out the keys. ''Excuse me! I was promised a single room, but my assigned room's a double!'' ''I'm very sorry, but we're a bit short on space this year! If a single frees up, we'll let you know!'' At this point, Arianne was red with anger, but it was obvious the situation couldn't be salvaged. She walked back to her room and threw her bags onto one of the beds, then walked back out into the hallway and decided to check out the school.
''A double?! How dare they?!'' she thought to herself as she wandered the halls. All the classrooms were state-of-the-art; a computer lab, a chemistry lab, a dance studio... all not too exciting to her. But wait... if there's a dance studio... there's got to be a music room too! She began walking faster, turning her head constantly to see if there indeed was a music room. After a few minutes of rushing down the hallways, she found it. ''This school is huge.'' Inside the music room was an array of instruments. Of course, she went for the guitar. She tuned it, and then began strumming her favourite songs, forgetting, for at least a bit, all the unpleasant things that had happened so far.

Ray snicker to himself as he entered the front gates and walked his way to the dorms. Strapped to his body was his messenger bag and dragging his suitcase behind him "Best part of being smart with technology, you can make it do anything you want. Like, make it look like your parents sign the entry forms. Hahaha." Ray talking to himself on his way to dorms. He entered the dorms and walked up to the registration desk. "Ray Charms.” introducing him self to the registration staff. "Ray Charms, room 62." the lady said sliding the key toward him. "62, huh? can't even make a good joke with that number." Ray said taking his key to the room. He walked down to the hallway with the sixtys and walked to his room door. He stood in front of his dorm room and glanced around the hall before walking inside. "A double bed room? Nice." He said to himself as he tossed his suitcase onto one of the beds.
Ray did not want to stay in his room for too long and wanted to check out the campus for a bit. After dropping off his suitcase, he returns to the hallway, leaned against the wall next to his room and took out the campus map and decided to look over it before he leaves.

I turned off my computer and changed into black leggings and a grey cropped sweater hoodie with black sneakers. I tie my hair up in a messy bun and went out of my room, turning the lights off. I go down the hallway and walk to the dance room, smiling happily since this is for one of the classes I signed up for: ballet. I go into the room and close the door, setting my phone on a bench. I put on ballet shoes and turn on music from my phone, connecting it to the speaker. I sigh as I do a soft routine I made up with many different moves and what not.
