This is an RP using my character Cynder, and if you have read her backstory ( I recommend you read her profile fully.)
You will know she now owns an island not that far away from the mainland, and now doing general work Cynder and her brother Rocket have managed to earn enough money to become nobles and own a mansion on the island, and have servants etc.
The reason they was able to earn all this money was simple, not many beings in this world can cast magic so the fact that draconic beings can cast magic was valuable to many people, they offered their magic to help people through problems, kill bandits etc. And now they are well known across the mainland as powerful and wealthy mage.
(So in other words your character would have heard of them, even if it was just by random chatter.)
But then Cynder did something strange, she sent out a message within the mainland towns that she is looking for an apprentice to teach said magic that she uses....she had never taught her magic to anyone before now it is odd, but then again who is going to pass up the chance to learn magic.
Your character would have applied to be her apprentice, not really expecting to be chosen but surprisingly you was.
And that's the story, you are now going to be Cynder's apprentice, romance is possible if you treat her with respect and treat her well.
Be aware however things may not be all it seems on this island, because as you start your studies you begin to notice servants disappearing, lockdowns at night and other strange occurrences... Will you be able to find the truth to thus madness? Or will you end up like Cynder's apprentice; a forgotten piece of history?
Just for your information I have changed the personalities and some of the history of Cynder's profile to suit the story I have planned, so some of her history has changed but her personality and looks have stayed the same.
Also this RP may turn into a horror story at times so be prepared for that.

Magic is rare. Some of the players might have it. There may be sages or other magical figures that could be sought out for tutelage.
