One of the most frequently traveled mountain ranges in the world as it manages to sit between several major cities that have no way to go around it. Because of this, it's become a favored place for highwaymen to set up to rob any unfortunate caravan that finds itself under-defended. That and the tribes that call those mountains home not taking too kindly to trespassers. But there's one thing that everyone can hate in unison. The giants who roam the cliffs. Hostile and dangerous to just about everyone. Because of this, they have been hunted to near extinction, with their corpses bringing great riches. Although legend has it that there a few left, hiding from the rest of the world.

Basically, the RP is going to consist of your character for whatever reason heading into the Rise. Maybe they're with a caravan, maybe their giant hunters, maybe they just wanted to get to another city. But somehow they stumble across Juvus who would have quiet the hostile reaction but eventually calm down and have the character try to help her.

Keeping this in mind I'd like paragraph replies, I understand not every post can be that long but please just be as long as you can, it just shows you care about the RP

While romance is fine I'm not entirely comfortable with smut so that's right out the window

Hey, I'd be interested in rping this. Obviously. Why else would I be replying. Anyways, I think this char would be a good fit, if she was headed into the mountains on the suspicions and rumors that others had been spreading. (She wouldn't be interested in romance, though an awkward few exchanges might be interesting.) I was thinking that maybe she could go hunting for giants, find Juvus, then somehow be persuaded that Juvus shouldn't be killed. For whatever reason.

So you asked for a writing example. I'm not exactly sure what you want specifically in that sample, so I'll just type out something random. (Also, my posts are usually four-to-more paragraphs, so this isn't... you know. Full capabilities or whatever.) Here it is:

The forest seemed deathly quiet. The birds had paused in their condescending song, and even the gentle breezes in the leaves of the treetops had ceased their sinister hisses. Around Borealis, the endless green canopy above cast an eerie emerald light across the foliage and gnarled black trunks. It seems almost surreal, this forest... the huntress mused to herself, eyes flashing as she surveyed the almost smoky wood around her. Her fingers strayed to the collar of her cloak, fingering the clasp as she subconsciously considered the heat of midsummer. Faint dots of sunlight knitted themselves together overhead, though strangely none managed to find their way down to the leafy forest floor. The dust motes in the air were obvious enough to track with the eye, however, as if some unearthly light emanated from an unseen source. Borealis' jaw clenched, and she ducked her head to continue on her way.

I would like to join with this character if you have any room for him. He could be a caravan guard. I haven't really written out his backstory yet, but I do know what it is. So, if you need to know any specifics go ahead and ask
