I think I've mentioned this in another Zodiac thread but Western Astrology actually has 3 (main) signs; your sun, moon and ascendant sign. All are based off of different things surrounding one's birth. The main sign everyone knows and quotes is their Sun sign, which is denoted by your date of birth, (day and month). Others are calculated by what time you were born at, and the longitude and latitude of where, with some math calculations.

Im aware of the Astrological Charts. My moon happens to be Sagittarius and my Ascendant is Scorpio. As for my Chinese Element, it's water.
