In the distant future, aliens had discovered earth. Humankind had furthered in technology and learnt much more than the earth could allow them. Now aliens and humans live as one... one with a common goal.
A cataclysmic event had occurred after the Trojan wars. A war that ended with a reactor core coming in contact with the waters of Eden. The reaction caused a shockwave to spread around the globe, changing millions of species on a molecular level. Their bodies began to change to better suit their new abilities. These beings were called the mutants to those who seek to destroy them.
Aliens and normals alike became fearful of such beings with power and so shunned those that we're different. The government ordered all mutants to be captured or killed if they did not surrender.
Then came the uprising, they called themselves the "Children of Eden" and they were not to be taken lightly.
Mutants fought back and their might was nothing to be taken lightly. Wars raged on a global scale, many towns laid to waste and ruin.
One city that had not been hit was NeonCity but for how much longer?
A new guard has been formed, the centurions armed with laser rifles, the first of their kind. Pulse cannons and VICE grenades used for capture missions bound Mutants from their hands to their feet. The centurion also have their hands on experimental equipment that no One has ever seen. They were the force that hit back. For how long will the Children of Eden last?
Will mutants be erased by the Centurions?
Or will the Children of Eden take the world by storm?
Sinclair frantically searched the street for a way to escape. He spotted a nearby ally and darted around a trash can. Blood gushed from the gaping hole in his shoulder. Those damned laser rifles do a lot of damage...
Sinclair took in a shaky breath, cold sweat beading along his forehead. He had to hold out until he found a place to hide.
"Check every building, alley, trash can, car, EVERYTHING. This bastard cannot escape again!" A centurion captain ordered his squad, they are close.
Sin slowly stood up on wobbly legs and stumbled down the alley, his eye sight faltering as darkness edged over it. The shuffling of footsteps approached him quicker than he thought, he isn't moving fast enough...
Quickly a masked figure grabbed him and pulled him into a building, too weak to fight back he had no choice but to follow. They took turns and ran through doors, descended stairs as well as ascended a few others. "Stay with me" the hooded figure said, a female voice coming from the shadows of its good but the plea landed on deaf ears. Sinclair succumbed to the darkness from his weakened state.
As he awakened, he saw a stained ceiling with adjacent murky walls. Foot steps frantically rushed back and forth, whispers filled air around him.
"He's awake but he's still weak, we need the stretcher so you need to get him to the bed quarters, put him in a bed and return this asap" a healer ordered one of the refugees at the hideout. It seemed that at this time, everyone was to contribute to whatever the hideout needed.
