That’s a eye-catching title I hope and I wasn’t doing it to enthrall anyone, it’s hobestly how I feel. I haven’t role played with anyone in many many years, and I’m not sure If I even can anymore. I like the idea of it and use to love doing it, but that was with people I knew.
Everyone here is a stranger. I have social anxiety that extends to even just typing this and joining this site, but there’s a reason for my title and that’s because I have adhd, unmedicated and probably more toward the moderate scale.
If you know about it or have it then you know how someone with ADHD can be forgetful and lose interest, among other things.

Despite your obvious lack of confidence and/or comfort, I assure you that you're among friends here.
There are all types of people on the RPR, and I'm sure that many of them will be happy to chat with you OOC if you don't feel like roleplaying. That said, there are also some very excited people waiting to rp with you! I don't know who they are, but they're there. They always are.
That may have sounded a little creepy. My apologies.
So, if you're completely new to the site, I'd advise getting started with a character. Of course, Kim and the moderators have added helpful little links here and there so that you can get started. Here's an article about character profiles. (There are articles for just about everything; the search bar up in the right-hand corner is very nice. )
Once you've at least got the basics of a character down (and not everyone requires that you do in order to rp, I'm sure) you can look here if you know what sort of rp you're looking for, or here if you don't.
Right. The RPR is full of active, welcoming people who will answer your questions if they're able! We also have a bunch of moderators that can answer any questions you might have that no one else can seem to answer. I hope you enjoy your stay here, however brief/long it may be!

Welcome! This is definitely a newbie (or oldie with rust) friendly culture here. Ease yourself in as you need to. Try not to worry too much, but if you need to worry, you're allowed to keep trying while worried.

One thing that I can say with confidence is that we want you here. We want you to succeed and we want you to have fun.
I don' think it'd be a stretch in the slightest to say that many of us, most of us even, don't/won't care if you RP. What's important to us is that you have a place where you can belong, to feel comfortable, and to be friendly. Everything else is secondary.
