"Then let's go." She gestured for him to lead. Even though she was a traveler, she was pretty new to this area. She looked around the forest, rubbing her scars gently.

Jordan smiled and began his journey to Thebes with Kao, along the way they were distanced each other physically and socially neither one talking to the other. After walking all day into thee night they were a mile away from Thebes and to there goals, Jordan had wanted to ask her what Kao would get out of all this and especially ask her what she was going to say the other night.

"We're almost there, maybe you can tell me why you think that women was in Thebes...you know so I know what I'm asking about?" Jordan said as cool as possible.

Kao stopped and looked at him. She had hoped he had forgotten. She blushed and looked away." Since BladesMasters are harder to find, some BladesMaster females would.....seek a 'companion' but only for a short while. After thier done, the BladesMasters would go away and..... give birth to thier full blooded BladesMaster children." Kao rubbed the back of her head.

Jordan had heard of Blademasters doing this, to him he never thought someone that was so dedicated to the sword would ever think about having a child so right away he thought of this as some crazy rumor. "If that's true then she must have talked to a couple of guys in Thebes all we have to do is ask around and see who has the information we need" Jordan said with a smile, he continued to walk with kao behind him "So...if that's what a female Blademaster does then, why aren't you looking for your guy to...mate with?"

Kao blushed more." I never want to use anyone for that sort of thing. Just like I don't want anyone to use me for mating with. I find it disgusting." She sighed." I'm lucky to make it this far without a male BladesMaster coming after me."

"No I get it your a free spirit so to speak you want to do all you can before you have a kid, what women wouldn't" Jordan said walking backwards looking at Kao. Making it over the horizon there eyes finally fell on Thebes with its lights aluminating the sky, seeing how lively Thebes was it made Jordan smile making remember how he grew up in a place just like this until that women destroyed it.

A local Tavern caught Jordan eyes remembering if that women was looking for a mate that would have been one of the places she would have gone "Lets head to the tavern, we can ask questions and get a room"

Kao looked around, her silver eyes scanning." It would be a good place to start." Her eyes seemed to dim slightly as she rubbed her arm, feeling the scar.

Jordan open the Tavern door to see what he saw in every other Tavern he had been in his life, a bunch of drunks falling all over each other with the smell of puke lingering around. Jordan and Kao looked around the room for the right person to ask these questions someone that wasn't to drunk to understand but, also someone that isn't to alert to figure out who they we're looking for.

Jordon saw a big guy in the corner keeping to himself with only one cup of ale in his hand "I'm going to take this guy over here so what you can find while I'm gone" he said speaking close to her ear so no one would here "an there's a lot of drunk guys in here so if any of them get out of line just kick there ass don't let those things out". Jordan left her walking over to the big guy in the corner.

Kao watched Jordan before managing to squeeze in at the bar. She swallowed as a few men eyed her but left her alone. She folded her arms, hiding most of her scared flesh. She ignored the few men who tried to hit on her until one of them got too close for her comfort. She glared at the man standing next to her, her silver eyes glowing deadly. The man backed away before walking away, frightened.

"You mind if I sit down" Jordan said to the big man across the table from him. Jordan knew this had to be one of the guys that women talk to, the man looked like he would have strong children and to Jordan he knew that was all that women cared about.
"Have a seat" the big man said "I could use the company", Jordan sat down hearing that there was no slur in his voice making him think he isn't a regular here. Jordan stuck out his hand "Jordan Ash" he said before the man hand meet his "Benjamin Grace" the big man answered.
"Nice to meet you Benjamin maybe you can help me, I'm looking for a women with a scar going down her left eye" Jordan said waving his hand for a drink, Benjamin stopped drinking his ale and looked Jordan with a very serious stare.
"What would you want with her" Benjamin said, Jordan jumped over the table knocking Benjamin on his back and Jordan landing on his torso with his knife on Benjamin's neck.

"Now where going to talk, just you and me Benjy" Jordan said with a smile.

Kaori looked at the men and blinked. She wondered why Jordan wanted this woman so much. Her eyes glowed silver as she watched Jordan and the man. Her body tensed, ready to help if Jordan needed any. The man Jordan was talking to put Kaori on edge for some reason but she couldn't tell why.

Jordan sat on Benjamin not letting him move an inch, listening to the words of the men around the bar he figured his actions could start something "All of you listen to me" he screamed "I just want to talk to this man the rest of you I could careless about, so I'm telling you to leave or deal with the women at the bar and I don't have to tell you she obviously isn't normal". The men look at each other then at Kao's arms and legs seeing her for what she is making them all leave in a haste.

Jordan bought all his attention back on Benjamin "Know the women, what did she talk to you about?" he said moving the dagger closer to his throat.
"I don't know something about....having my baby" Benjamin said breathing hard "She was obviously crazy so I said no"

"You said no?, You...said no?", Jordan moves the dagger even closer to his throat cutting it not enough to kill, but to scare.
"OK!OK!, I WALKED UP TO HER TRY TO GET HER INTO BED SHE TOLD ME I WASN'T THE GUY SHE WAS LOOKING, SPROUTING CRAP ABOUT HER CHILD BEING THE NEXT KING OR SOMETHING" Benjamin said in a panic

"Next King?, where did she say she was going?" Jordan said with a confuse face.
"I don't know, I swear she headed north last time I saw her" Benjamin said, Jordon looked over to Kao "You got any questions for this guy Kao?"

Kao swallowed when Benjamin said what the woman had said." Were her eyes gold or bronze?." Kao knew if this woman was a BladesMaster, the woman would most likely be looking for Kao as well and finding a mate.

Jordan's furious face went to slight confusing, he wondered what the color of her eyes had to do with anything and why was it relvent at this time. He quickly fixed his face before bring it back down to Benjamin "You heard the women, what color were her eyes?" he said with his dagger still on Benjamin's throat.

"I don't know exactly I weren't really staring at her eyes if you know what I mean...if I remember correctly they were gold" Benjamin said moving his neck around trying to get away from the blade on it.
Jordan smiles "OK Benjy one more question" he said moving in close to Benjamin "What was her name?". The pressure around Jordan was something only a warrior like Kao could feel, there could be only one word to describe this feeling and it was Malice.

Benjamin couldn't feel the Malice, but the look on Jordan's face is more then enough to make him crack "Elena...her name is Elena". The smile on Jordan's face could be seen almost a little psychotic and yet sane at the exact same time.
Jordan stood up walking away from Benjamin "Elena, very good to know" saying with a smile, he could hear the thumping of the soldiers boots coming towards them "That's about all I need, don't feel like a fight today, lets go Kao".

Jordan could hear them on the other side of the door, not wanting to fight he jumps through the closed window into the alley hopefully with Kao behind him.

Kao did follow. She seemed to be thinking. If the woman had gold eyes, that would explain why the woman had said something about her son." I'm in so much trouble." Kao said to herself.

Jordan keep moving not looking back even thought he new Kao was right on his tail, they ducked in and out of streets not wanting to be cornered by the guards trying to get as far away from the bar finally stopping at a board up home. Jordan went to the side of the house taking down boards on the window climbing in after doing so with Kao behind him.
Jordan could see it had been abandon for awhile with all of the dust and webs surrounding every inch of the place, he looked through the cracks of the boards to see that the guards were passing the house making them safe. Jordan through down his sword and other weapons and sat near the window looking at kao "What did you mean that your in trouble?" he said looking at her.

Kao bit her lip." There are three main BladesMasters: bronze, silver and gold. Bronze and gold BladesMasters are easier to find than silver so the BladesMasters think silvers are the most powerful." She looked away." There's a reason silvers like me are hard to find."

"Blademasters have different colors of eyes" he said with a confusing face "How the hell did I not know this, something like this should have came to my knowledge such a long time ago". Jordan sat there looking into space just trying to soak in the information he got from Benjamin, "OK, why are you silver eyes so rare whats the difference between you three?"

"My ancestor was the very first silver. Instead of following her sister gold or bronze, who believed that keeping our race alive, my ancestor believed in love. She bore one child, who was stronger than the others. The gold and bronze were jealous but the silver just ignored thier envy. The silver only bore one child at a time which means I'm the last silver until I bear a child. The gold and bronze always think if one of them can beat a silver, they are the strongest." Kao frowned.

"Your more tied to her then I am" Jordan said banging his head back and forth on the wall, this was something he really hadn't expected not even a little bit. Jordan had gotten into a situation that was way over his head, he wanted to simply kill Elena and that would be the end of it not deal with all of this.

"Alright, so I'm guessing if a gold has a child that's a bad thing hence the whole becoming King bit that Benjamin said" he said rubbing his face "So this isn't really my call its yours, my motive is pure hatred if there's more to this story then you gotta tell us what our next move is"
