Kao shook her head." My situation won't matter. You can still kill her and I'll still help you." She looked at him." You really shouldn't hit you head."
"Hitting my head helps me thing gets the blood flowing" he said looking at Kao "Alright if she went south she had to have gone to Naupactus its about 2 days walk, but there's a couple of villages in between she might stop there which is good for us we can catch up".
Jordan yawned as he got up to see if there were anymore soldiers out there "Seems to be all clear we might as well get some sleep and make our way to Naupactus at dawn, he said laying down with his sword under his head "If you don't mind me asking, why not just have a kid and get it over with?, at least you know your legacy would live on even if you were to die".

"I wouldn't feel right." Kao sat against a nearby tree." I want to have a family. Unlike the others, I want love. I don't want to mate with some random guy. Besides, having a kid sounds very painful." Kao laughed slightly. She put her head against the tree and looked up at the sky.
"Well I don't know how having a kid feels by experience, but I would imagine pushing a human out of your body is no walk in the park" he said laughing "Its very rare to see a person that is born to fight want to have a family and a normal life...must have been hard being that way"
Jordan covered his eyes and slowly began to drift to sleep.
Jordan covered his eyes and slowly began to drift to sleep.
In the morning, Kaori wasn't there. She had gone to a small stream not far away. She was studying her scars, which felt as if they were burning. She sighed before she began to splash the clear, cool water in her face.
Jordan woke up to see no Kao insight, the conversation they had still rolling around in his skull a warrior having a normal life is like the sun not rising, its just not possible. Its not that the thoughts of that didn't cross his minds every now and then, but also the thought for killing Elena was also on his mind much more then he would ever admit.
Jordan begin to walk to the stream for a drink a water seeing kao washing her face "There you are" he said bending down to drink water "You know I never asked you, do you know elena?"

Kao wiped her face." I only know two others. A gold BladesMaster named Minio before he was killed and one called Decan." She smiled." Let's say I was friends with him before he became a BladesMaster manwhore."
"Manwhore?...Oh you mean he a little to much fun with the girls, can't say I haven't heard of people thing that there so strong the world belongs to them" he said splashing water on his face. Jordan looked at Kao noticing something he hadn't notice before "You know when your blades aren't you look pretty"
Kao blinked and blushed, her cheeks red. She looked away." Thank you, I guess." She said softly before splashing water in her face to cool down her burning cheeks. No one had said that to her before so she felt a little shy.
Jordan saw how that changed the expression on her face face, showing him a shy look that made him smile "Must have been the first time anyones tell you that" he said walking back to camp "Lets get going, Elena should still be a day away from Naupactus, more if she stopped in the towns in between"
"Depends. She might know we're on her trail." Kao looked at the sky. She seemed to be listening." She shouldn't be too far ahead. Maybe a half a day of nonstop traveling."
"If shes that we're on to her, I may be seriously underestimating her" Jordan said walking towards the trail "So if we keep walking till sunset we should be right behind her even though it would be better if we had some horses". Just after finishing that Jordan sets his eyes on a ranch with horses running around.
Kaori looked at him." You can go and get one. I like running better." She looked ahead. She had never rode a horse before but she wasn't going to admit it.
To hear that someone would rather run then ride didn't much make sense, "Well that doesn't make me uncomfortable... stay here I'll grab myself a horse". Jordan slides down the side of the path and hides behind a barn, he looks around making sure the close was clear just before moving inside of the barn to see a least half a dozen horses tied up. Jordan looks around to find a nice one that wouldn't be a hassle and is smart enough to come with them, almost giving up a hope he sees a jet black horse.
It stays calm as Jordan approaches it and just before he touches the horse Jordan hears voices outside "Sorry big guy, but we have to go now" he said hopping on the horse. Once the doors had open the horse ran out of the barn with Jordan riding, he directs the horse towards Kao seeing her insight "I couldn't get him quietly the farms going to come after us and he wont b alone, you can't out run him so get on"

Kaori blinked and huffed. She climbed on behind Jordan but didn't hold onto him. She swallowed, not liking that she was riding a horse when she didn't want to.
Jorrdan took off as sound as Kao got on, as the ride passs the farm the farmer begins his chase with a couple of guys behind him all with a hell of a look on there face's. The horse was much faster then Jordan had thought looking back the could barley see the farmer and his men, when they were almost out of sight Jordan makes a hard turn hiding into the woods stopping to hear them right by "That was one hell of a ride" he said patting the horse.
"What did ya think Kao?, better then walking huh?"
