Meet Boris!
Boris was a young successful entrepreneur, who instead of wanting to make money within the rules of prestigious society, decided to forgo the rules and gain wealth other ways. With a business saavy mind, and knowing how to have a silver tongue, he made good use of it. But, some are beginning to whisper that perhaps Boris was too smart and efficient for his own good.

We are currently browsing for someone to be Boris for our group! If you are interested in the concept of Boris, and feel like you could flesh him out, give him a bit of a history, and think it would be fun to play him, keep on reading!


About B'hărăbû
Boris is the leader of the city-state B'hărăbû. Think Tortuga in Pirates of the Caribbean, but with a deadly catch for the ones who make the most coin. B'hărăbû is a hodgepodge citadel engulfing an entire island. You wouldn't go to B'hărăbû unless you had some not-so above board dealings, or if you're a pirate, you might call it home. B'hărăbû is the heart of the black market and illegal trade. There are always ships in port and willing souls to cart you away if you need an escape, but their prices might be high, or you might be worth more dead, so traveling and trading here is not for the faint of heart.

The 'ownership' and responsibility of upkeep is put to whoever makes the most profit and calls B'hărăbû home (spending a minimum of one Tam'nyer-a'n month on the whole within the last year). Essentially, B'hărăbû is a cutthroat capitalist establishment. You want to make the most money, but do you really want to be the best if upkeep and repairs of the entire island fall on your shoulders?

Well, unfortunately, it fell to Boris'.

Slowly but surely, the weight of responsibility is wearing on Boris' mental stability. Lately, it hasn't been past him to walk through the streets naked, or wear animal skulls, believing it to be an aesthetic. Boris is eccentric, but he still is making the most bank, so no one has tried to kill him or steal from him. No one wants to become the next Boris, so the enemy of my enemy is my friend!

B'hărăbû and Boris are part of Tam'nýer—a', an 18+ fantasy world, and we are currently accepting applications for Boris here. Be warned, Tam'nýer—a' has a lot of lore, and you will have to be okay with character death. Tam'nýer—a' is a actively evolving world, coming alive through 1x1 and small group roleplays, with global plots in the distant future.


Basic Expectations of You, the Author:

• 1 application per person.

• We ask that you read Tam'nýer—a''s Rule and FAQ pages, (at the very least), before applying.

• If engaged in roleplay, that you reply within 15 days

• You must be able to produce a minimum of 3 paragraphs and/or 250 words per reply

• Be open to plotting with other members of the group

• You are okay with character death

• Willing to keep up with the lore of Tam'nýer—a'

Bumping this! But, also putting out that if you check out Tam'nýer—a', and you like the world, feel free to create a character and apply even if playing Boris doesn't tickle your fancy!

Tam'nýer—a' is a fantasy world with it's own pantheons, superstitions, and races. It is an adult only group flagged for sexual themes, violence and coarse language, that offers a world to play in basically whatever roleplay plots may interest you. All it needs to do is abide by the lore set in place.
