"God damn it, this map is useless!" Sky crumples up the map and throws it on the ground, crossing his arms in anger like the child he is.
"Are you sure that your reading the map right?" El walks over to the crumpled up map, she picks it up and uncrumbles the map and looks at it. "Hmm that's weird."
"So you've noticed." Silveris was lying on a tree branch with his head propped up on one elbow, looking down at the two other lost figures. "Maps don't work here."
"Well, that's pretty stupid." His attitude worsened with him already in a bad mood.
(yeah....i'm not sure if i'm allowed to just jump in so i will, if i cant then just ignore me lel)
*jaiden walks around holding her phone in the air like it's baby jesus* and the worst part is that i can't get a god damn signal! Who the hell had the map? Can't ya read ya dingus?

*she sits on a rock and digs through her bag, she takes out a twinke and begins to eat it*
"The dude just said maps don't work in here..." Sky looks at the girl eating, "And of course you can't get a signal, we're in a damn forest!" He uncrosses his arms and sits down on the grass.
Silveris lay perched on his branch and stared down at the people below him in amusement as they quarreled over maps and their GPS, slightly intrigued because he'd always relied on pure instinct to get him where he needed to be and he was actually happy that the forest was posing a challenge.
Silveris glanced at the girl eating a twinkie and asked, "You don't happen to have a second one, do you?"

*she digs in her bag and pulls out another one* here *she tosses it to him* well, we can't just sit here and be all pouty. We better start walkin' *she zips up her bag and slings it over her shoulder. She stands up*
"Ugh, fine." Sky stand up and looks at the dude lying on the branch, "Hey cat boy, mind helping us? You seem like you know the way out of here." Man, he really isn't in a good mood.
i think we should find a hiking trail, i could've sworn i saw one an hour ago
"Are you 100% sure? I swore I saw no hiking trail..." He raised his eyebrow and gives her a suspicious look.
well, i'm not sure if it was a HIKING trail, but it did look like one, being fixed up and all. *she looks in every direction* but i don't think it's ANYWHERE near here. *she watches a squirrel scurry past* Maybe we should all climb a tree, see how far out we are *she takes off here jacket* can yall climb?
Silveris raised an eyebrow at the one who called him a ‘cat boy’ and sat up on his tree branch, eating his Twinkie and contemplating the hiking trail that was mentioned although he suspected it probably led to nowhere.
Silveris spread his hands out innocently at Sky and said, “What’re you talking about? I’m as lost as you are.”

After being quiet for awhile El finally speaks up and says, "Even if we all do climb a tree wouldn't it be hard see to past the other ones, the forest does seem pretty thick after all."
well, don't you think we should try everything possible? but i guess your right.
“Back to square one,” Silveris said.
"Indeed." Sky chuckles.
"Well then does anyone remember passing by something like a cave that we can use a landmark?" El asks.
"I remember pacing a dead tree somewhat behind us." Sky looks behind him to make sure.
