The Phoenix Flamesword has been lost, tales and legends of it's power growing. Many people are on the hunt for it. The land it's lost in is called the War Lands, because of the war that grew between the two nations there. They split the island when the balance keeper and last owner of the Flamesword, Sarkcort Kuni, perished. No one knew who killed him, so they turned to war. The more peaceful and magical side is called Sarkuni, while the tech side any war-loving side is called Cortuni. All is known is that the sword is in Cortuni somewhere. The stakes are high, and now, more than ever, whoever finds the sword could turn the balance of the world... for better or for worse.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Industrial revolution
