Kerrigan let out a deep sigh after she finished her shift at the sweet shop factort. She let out a sigh as she watched the others leave for the night. It was strange this brunnette had a dealy craving for sweets. Not only this however, she was a dangerous klutz. Often times in the backery she would often slip on even the smallest droplet of water on the floor. The last time she was pinned to the bakery wall by seven knives, from yanking a towel under the knife holder. Today however was a realxing day, no accidents and in return the bakery supervisor let her have an eclair for not causing destruction. She waved goodnight to her supervisor as she began to mujch on the Eclair, but however Kerrgian knew wouldnt be enough for her this night. Despite he sweet demanor she was a vampire, a not very good one but a vampire that still needed blood nonetheless. Kerrigan sighed as she finished the dessert and went to go find one of her usuals. Nate had always been one of the best hunters around, never hesitating to end a life that was human which made him great at any hunting job especially this one. Nate heard that there was a vampire living in New York City one that was trying to live a normal life which made him mad just hear it,he knew that there was no such thing as a vampire living a normal life.

Nate watched her from a distance for a couple a of days never getting close for her to tell what he was until he figured out her pattern, he had been already waiting for her at the butcher shop she went to twice a week. Nate saw as she came in with flour almost covering every inch of her clothes, making him think "She does a really good job as being human".
Nate sat by the door as if he was waiting for his order to be ready as she went up to the counter. As her back was turn in one quick motion he locks the door, pulls out a dagger and flings it at her back

Kerrigan oblivious as always didnt even think anything of the man that stood near the door. Though something was screaming at the back of her head to run. She ignored it, not following her instinct. She then felt a searing pain in her back as she went up to the counter. She didnt know what was in her back but it hurt. She stopped for a moment trying to regain herself as shetried to stiffle her cries of pain, along with her tears. She took a deep breath and noticed this man reaked with the scent of Vampire blood. She stumbled a bit, feeling her back bleeding all over her purple dress. She shook a bit as her eyes went wide in terror. not good, ow, who is this guy? Oh no dont tell me its a hunter. Not good, at this rate every blood drinking creature will flood in here. she thought as she tried to pull the dagger from her back. She wincend as the scent of her sweet blood flooded the room, masking the smell of meat. She looked to the man as she backed into the counter. "sir....please.. I think you have the wrong person..."she squeaked almost like a scared mouse. She didnt have any sort of weapon on her let alone, she was dizzy and needed blood even though it would be a little it was worth it. Kerrigan's Hazel eyes still were starting to ebb getting glints of a rustic brown. She gulped as she looked back to see if the butcher was still there, she looked to the man as she knw her only escape was blocked. She gulped as she turned her back yet again and jumped over the counter, she quickly ran into the back of the shop tryi.g to get out the back door. However as she jumped the counter her hand slipped and she ended up falling on the ground a crack could be heard followed by a small yell. Kerrigan slipped and ended up knocking over a crate full of scrap parts all over herself. She sat their frozen and for a vampire she was grossed out at being covered in blood. She gulped frozen hoping that if this man was going to kill her he would do it quick rather then draining her dry.

Nates face look like something that could only be known to show as confusion, he had thought she being a vampire would catch the dagger as if it was nothing it was as if she had no idea it was coming. Nate saw as she begin to sway back and fourth realizing the dagger had done a lot more damage then before, blood was coming out her back like a faucet and it wasn't showing any sign of letting up.

Nate heard as she I had the wrong person just before jumping over the counter and running into the back, he begin to run after only to hear noise after he jumps over the counter himself. Nate walks into the back to see the vampire on the floor covered in animal scraps and beginning to faint, he takes out a second dagger and kneels in front of her with the dagger at her throat.
Nate looks at her hazel eyes and didn't see any part of her vampire side coming out making him hesitate for the first time in his life, he closes his eyes and regrets doing what he was about to do. Nate drops the knife "Do not bite me" he said before turning her to the side and pulling out the knife, he then grabs a already bloody towel from the shelf and puts it on her wound.

Kerrigans lips quivered as she saw the hunter in front of her. She gulped again as she saw the second dagger taken out and held to her throat she let out a relief as she felt the other dagger taken out of her back. She let out a cry of pain as she felt the metal being pulled out. She looked to thde man with wide eyes as her face truly was scared as she shook."um mister hunter....for not.killing me." She said as she looked away her gentle tanned skin rising with a blush, in istelf was amazing she still could blush. She felt like running but was in no shape to do so. She gulped as she wished she would have fed sooner."I don't just bite people, without permission. And without offering something in return. I dont like to kill." She said as she saw the butcher walking in. Kerrigan was honest inbher ways, and for a vampire she was far from the ones that usually hunted humans. Let alone she gets hunted by her own kind for having such sweet blood.
The butcher then walked in as he blincked several seeing the man and kerrigan. However once he saw blood and the knives his palm went to his face as he came to conclusion what happened. "Oh not again Kerrigan. Did you slip on a towel or your dress again? And you feel on the Knives as well. You man thankyou, if you werent here she would have bleed out by now. As for the favor Kerrigan you can help clean up tommorow night. And I had better not catch you slacking off. And bring me some sweets from the bakery every now and then, ill get the first aid kit." He said as he shook his head and walked into the back room again.
Kerrigan blusjed knowing based on that information this hunter could gather evertyhing from that moment. Shebwas a vampire from a long linebof killers, yet some where the killer skipped her. She gave a small smile as she stood still looking at the.hunter her fangs which hand't extened but were a clear.indication of her nature. A dangerous klutz more then a vampire.

Nate could see what was happening here, but couldn't believe it was happening "I heard that your family was strong, but your the exact opposite of that" he said cleaning the vampire blood from his hands as if he thought he would be infected by it if he hadn't. Nate turns seeing how much pain she was in not knowing where this sympathy he had for her was coming from, he takes a deep breath showing an annoyed face while walking over to her grabbing her arm throwing it over his shoulder then grabbing her waist while he helps her walk over to the table in the middle of the room sitting her down.

Nate walks to the opposite side of the room distancing himself from her "What kind of vampire can't catch a knife?"

Kerrigan let the man help her to the table as she let out a sigh. She wanted something sweet right about now. She knew she was a joke and the annoyed look on the hunters face was more then enough for her. She let a sheepish grin come to her face as she heard him say that her family was strong and she wasnt. "well in truth hunter im the odd ball when it comes to what i am.bi eat sweets, i dont like to kill, and mainly i like to watch the sunrise. Actually i have a scar from it, i was weak as well you see when I do get blood. I take it from a persons fingers and it is only a little bit each time. But i guess you can say im a joke of a vampire, and a dangerous klutz." She said as she looked over to him ans she rested her head on the table and mumbled."but i suppose your going to keep an eye on me huh? Since im one of the 'undead'." She said as she mubled again this time something about being born a elf or a fairy instead of a vampire.

"I never said that, but you are right even if I don't see you as a threat doesn't mean the other hunters wont" Nate said playing with one of his daggers "I just thought someone of your caliber with so much history behind you would actually give me a challenge not...whatever you are".

Nate through his hands in his face thinking about how this day didn't go anywhere near like it should and he especially didn't think he would be having a conversation with a vampire. "OK I'm going to make a call just stay here and let the old man fix you up, do not go anywhere I can't be sure of your safety..." he said thinking about what he just said "...until I make this call". Nate walks out to the backdoor and pulls out his phone.

Kerrigan blinked several times and her face flushed with embaressment as she heard that since her family had so much behind it. She ended up being the runt of the family, a long vertical line down her spine in part burned from the sun, and another a lashing she got for breaking a rule. She was a joke and knew it, she let out a sigh as the butcher came back from the back room with a first aid kit and looked to Kerrigan. She sighed as she slipped part of her dress down to expose her mid back to were the dagger was thrown at her. She sighed as she let the butcher patch her back up from the knife wound, which oldy enough wasn't healing as fast as a normal vampires would. She had to stay put for now, the butcher sighed as he held up his finger for Kerrigan. "you know Kerrigan ill let you have this favor once, your a great help here. And it seems that man came after you for the wrong reason. " he said as he came around and pressed his finger to kerrigans mouth cutting it with her fang as he let a couple of drops drip into her mouth. He smiled and patted her head and looked to her with a smile."your lucky you got a friend like me that will patch you up. Oh if that lad over there causes you trouble let me know, after all you can get this place cleaner and faster then anyone else that works here." he said as he proceded to clean up the entrails that lied on the ground were kerrigan had fallen, along iwth the blood that spilt.

Nate walked out side and dials up his Boss not knowing what he was going to say to him, he hears the ring breathing hoping he was in a good mood "WHO THE HELL IS THIS!!!?" Boss screams immediately answering Nates question. "Nate my boy nice to hear from did you kill that vamp"

"Ummmmm Boss listen the vampire is not a threat shes as clumsy as a new born pup, I just don't see any point in killing her" Nate said knowing what the answer would be back.

"Not a threat, Nate that's a vamp and I teach you the only good vamp is a dead one" Nate hearing the disappointment in his voice "What is this since when do you ask questions and kill later"

Nate knew this was a waste of time talking with him "Your right I'm sorry for calling you about this I'll handle it"

"That's right good boy know tear that vamp apart and head to your next one its in New Orleans your love it there girls are beautiful" Boss said

"Yes Sir" Nate said back as if he was talking to him face to face.
"And Nathan, handle this vamp or I will find someone else to.
Nate close the phone as he walks back into the kitchen seeing her on the table almost better then new. "All right so how are you?"

Kerrigan wore a some what blank expression on her face as the hunter walked back in. She then relized she was just sitting there with her dress around her abdomen. She blushed and quickly scrambled to pull the top up over her body. She quickly hid her scar as she looked over to the man and blushed again with a sheepish grin once more.
She looked to the hunter as she felt herself being a littl ebit stronger after having blood in her. The wound healing fast but not at the pace a Vampire would be regenerating at. "im alright, hunter. Well if you considering me wasting blood blushing and nearly getting killed. " she said as she took a deep breath to pause and regain herself."and getting away unscathed, but I suppose you can't leave me alone either." she said dreading the idea of having this man forcing her to tag along. Or worse be stuck in a box or a cell, she wouldn't be able to work in the sweets shop or get free sweets on the end of her shift. Just the thought of it made her lip quiver.

Nate leans against the backdoor to think, about what she said and what the Boss said. "All right, for now your going to stick with me you have a nice life here so I'm going to let you live it for as long as possible or until I can talk my boss out of killing you" Tristen said still thinking this was a dream "Understand at some point my boss is going to know that I'm not at my next mission and he's going to send someone here and when that time comes we have to leave I need to know that you can do that"

Kerrigan gulped and was relived that for the time being she could stay here and life out the life she had set up for herself. With a smile she nodded."Thankyou, mr. Hunter. I dont know if you like sweets or not, but in return for letting me live. I could get you something sweet from the place that I work at. Well of course this time it will come from my paycheck." she said with a laugh as she looked over to him her genuine heart was clear enough at this point. How she was even born as a kind hearted vampire one can only guess. She began to stand up as she walked closer to the hunter and bowed her head."Since we are formely going to know each other from know on. My name is Kerrigan, and if you need a place to stay I can humbly offer you my place of stay." she said in another way humble and would even cause the most hardened of hunters to stumble at her words.

Nate saw how this was going and didn't want to forget what he was taught all those years ago "Lets understand something" he said changing his demeanor "You are a vampire and I am a hunter that has not changed, the only reason I'm doing this is because...well I don't really know why" changing back to is usually self at that last sentence.
"I'm going to walk you home then I'm going to sleep outside your place in my car best way for me to keep an I on you" he said walking towards the front of the butcher shop "By the way I knew your name already its one of the perks of being a hunter you have to know your preys name...mines is Nate, now lets get moving Klutz".

Kerrigan nodded as she heard his demanor change; the sudden change even caused Kerrgian to become a bit uneasy of this hunter. She gulped as she walked out of the butchers shop and looked to him."okay, I guess knowing my name is not too hard. But Nate vampire hunter, did your group even give you any information about me other then my family?" she asked as she started to walk towards her home which was a few miles away. As she got outside she looked to the sky watching it to make sure she still had some night time left for her. She sighed as she continued to walk hopefully this Nate fella would have his hand locked around her arm walking her around as if she was some convict. Let alone she hated being called 'vampire' when she had a name. She knew what she was but in reality she was more like a fairy that drank blood, or worse and angel that just so happend to need blood. As she walked she couldn't helpt think that this guy was going to keep watching her, and so be kill her when she wasn't expecting it. Kerrigan knew this stress would cause her to slip up, and woe and behold she did. She went to take another step but ended up missing falling face first into the pavement of the sidewalk.

Walking Nate thought of all the things he was taught about vampires, that they are evil, deceiving, killers and that was all something that made it easier to kill so many of them, however, looking at Klutz as she walks ahead of him made all those things just leave his head as if they weren't there to began with making him even more confused then he already was. Nate heard Klutz ask him a question about her history, but before he could open is mouth she had hell on the sidewalk.

Nate looks down at her "This is nuts...how are you a vampire and yet so ..you?". Nate grabs her hand to help her up not taking notice how light she was, he pulls Klutz making her hit his chest after he looks down at her eyes almost mesmerized by them. He can't help but, smile not noticing it himself that he was until he saw some light coming up over some buildings "We have to go your place isn't to far from her" he said grabbing her hand and running towards her place.

Kerrigan as she fell to the ground didn't excatly like the feeling of pavement, though Nate's respone baffled her as well. He gently grasped her hand pulling her up from the ground, she blinked as she felt her breasts hit his chest and have his eyes staring into hers. The whole sensation made her blush, though she felt the hair on her neck pricking as she turned her head back to see light was starting to come over the buildings. She let the man drag her as they quickly ran to her apartment. She gulped as she saw the building come into veiw. With a quick hand motion she grabbed her key card and swipped herself and Nate in. She rushed inside the building and quickly went inside her simply yet slightly girly apartment. She let out a sigh as her apartment was already decked out in black out gear that prevented sunlight from entering she turned to look at Nate."as for your comment earlier, im a Vampire but i am a majoy Klutz call it my kind nature if you be. Sometimes when I feed that is usually from a finger prick i tend to exchange energies. The butchershop owner the reason why he stays so young looking is a result of that energy exchange." she said as she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a cupcake and began to eat it, a vampire eating food another thing that made her odd as well.

Looking around Klutz apartment Nate saw other then the blacked out gear her apartment was very normal and since he had never been in a vampires home it was nothing that he imagined it would be. Nate walked to the window to see the sun coming up, he then turns to Klutz "That explains the feeling I was getting from the old man".

"So do you sleep during the day or what?, because at this moment you are surprising me right and left"

Kerrigan took another bite of her cupcake as she finished it licking the frosting off her lips. She couldn't help but but cross her arms and shake her head."yep, just like a typical Vampire I sleep during the day. I mean what good would it be for me to be awake during this hour? I cant do anything, and I dont want to eat all my sweets as well. Oh speaking of which would you like one?" she asked as she dodged the small ray of sunshine that came from when Nate peaked through the window.
She then began to tidy some things up in the kitchen, a few sweets a small bit of rare meat that was left out for her 'snack' as she looked to him remebering that he would be sleeping in a car."well since your 'boss' might have associates out after you. I suppose I can't offer you anything like a blanket to sleep on while your in your car. It gets cold out and well im sure you can't sleep in broad daylight. And well like any other vampire I suppose it was because instead of listening to the elders, I wanted to see the sunrise. I got burned and lashed, and ever since that day the elders said that the sunshine touched me and never was able to leave." she said as she scracthed the edge of her nose meaning her kind heart never did change.

"Wow, that sunrise thing actually sounds pretty beautiful I guess that explains the whole clumsy thing" he said closing the curtain seeing how it bothered Klutz "and don't worry about Boss he won't send anyone for a coupe of days until he finds out I'm not in New Orleans"
Nate looks around still trying to take it all in how his life is getting turned around in less then 24 hours, he stares at her couch noticing how comfortable it looks much more then his car "Uhh, if its OK with you this place is dark making it easier to go to sleep so so you mind?" he said pointing at the couch
