Kerrigan shrugged her shoulders at the idea of the sunrise being beautiful. Of course she naturally held a blush at the compliment. In some way it was true about her, the sunrise's beauty left her heart warm. She then noticed him looking at the couch and nodded."sure thing the couch is plush and I dont mind you sleeping here at all. Just dont come and bother me in my sleep if you will, i mean ill apreciate you wanting to make sure I wont sneak out...let me get you a blanket." she said as she walked away and went into the closet with a high pitched squeek and the sound of fabric falling down she came back and gave him a blue colored queen sized blanket." Here you go mr. Nate, and thankyou for the compliment, usually when I told other vampires that, they laughed and looked at me like I was crazy. Well of course thats after they drank some of my ridiculously sweet blood. " she said as she started to ramble getting nervous around Nate, she was unsure of this hunter, and let alone he decided whether she live or die. Frankly she wanted to live, unlike her other vampire brethren she was actually enjoying her life. Her boss at the sweet shop, ol man at the butcher shop. She just hoped Nate's heart wouldn't flip flop like the others she had encountered.

"No problem, it does so very beautiful and thank you for the blanket" Nate said taking the blanket from Klutz, he takes off his coat throwing it on the couch where his head would be and lays down feeling a form of relaxation he hadn't felt in a very long time. Nate sat up real quick before almost dozing off from relaxation "Klutz one more thing before you got to sleep, other vampires drink your blood...Why exactly? what makes yours so special?"

Kerrigan let out a sigh as she saw the man lie down on the couch and she could see in his body langauge this form of relaxation was very much needed. She then lowered her head when he heard him ask why her blood was so special."Well Nate, the reason my blood is special is because it is sweet smelling. It got a sweet smell to it that if i were to cut myself even you as a human could smell. Lets just say other creatures, Vampires, Damphires, Werewolves, lycans, ghouls....They all find the sweet smelling blood intoxicating. It is from all my sweet eating really. Since vampires aren't supposed to eat food. I after eating all those sweets my blood has taken a sweet smell and taste to it." she said with another sigh as she knocked a stray hair that fell from her shoulder to the floor. As she gazed to Nate her Hazel eyes for the moment wondered what he ws going to do. Well since he would have to go to new Orleans or if other hunters wanted to get in on an easy kill. She looked to him as she started to head for her room."good night Nate." she said as she turned to leave.

"Night Klutz" Nate said as she walked pass him, he lays back down thinking on how her blood being what it was could bring so many monsters together making her pretty dangerous to be around.
Nate woke up that night thinking everything that happened earlier was a dream until he saw blacked out gear on the windows and a apartment that had more color then a rainbow, he want to the kitchen "Lets see if a vampire drinks coffee" Nate said looking through her kitchen. At that time his phone went off in his jacket on the chair running to get it before it made and more noise, he takes it out to see it was a text from Glitch a fellow hunter he works with from time to time.

Text readied "YOU SHOULD BE HERE ALREADY, WHERE R U"

All Nate could do was stare at his phone wonder what should he do.

Kerrigan awoke as she felt groggy to get up she let out a groan as she got up and walked to the bathroom that was in the hall. Her pj's were a simple night gown and it had rode up and now found themselves stuck in her undergarments. With a graon she went into the bathroom and took a quick shower, coming out of the shower she went into the kitchen, for the moment forgetting Nate was there. She opened the stainless steel refridgerator and pulled out a carton of juice and began to drink it. She wore her towel and as she woke up she blinked to see Nate standing there rummaging through her cup board. She blinked for a second until her face turned red. She quickled grabbed from under the sink a cookie sheet and covered her body."I uah....Nate well hello!! eh....if you need anything it should be in the cupboard...im just going...to go..." she said slowly inching away, she did not want to have a klutz moment, especially since she was in a towel. just as she hoped nothing was going to happen she felt her towel fall to the floor. With a red face she stood the not able to reach down and pick it back up.

Nate looks around the cupboards for coffee feeling relief when he saw it and as he turns around he sees Klutz completely naked and red in the face from embarrassment, he turns around automatically and begins to laugh almost dropping the coffee. "Wow, uh...Klutz you should maybe pick that towel up" he said catching his breath from laughing so hard "I gotta say though, for a clumsy vampire you do know how to take care of yourself".
Nate smiles and tries to remember the last time he laugh like this.

Kerrigan held the cookie sheet closer to her body as she tried to lean down to pick up the towel. It didn't end up to well as she leaned over trying to keep the cookie sheet infront of her. As she leaned down her back bent showing her lashing scar down her spin along with a sunburnt area of her skin. She even tried picking the towel up with her foot. She still stayed red in the face as she looked to Nate, the towel on her hair falling off as well. She looked at him as she nearly was about to go light headed from all the blushing she was doing."M-M-mr...Nate....eh..er, could you help me pick this towel up. Im not used to...standing naked with a cookie sheet pressed against my naked body, infront of a man." she said her voice shaking as it started to get quiet and squeaky. She could tell the hunter was getting a kick out of seeing how clumsy she was. Though she blushed at hearing the compliment that she was still in good shape.

"Uhhh... no problem" Nate said walking over to Klutz, he bent down to pick up the towel bring it back up with it open wide so she could take the cookie sheet down. "Its OK Klutz, we're both adults here its not the first time I've seen a naked women's body before" Nate said with a smile, he couldn't help but notice the lashes down her back something from another life that he had no business in asking about.

Nate held the towel waiting for Klutz to take it till his phone rang, he takes it out of his pocket seeing the only number that could take the smile he had away. "Listen I have to take this, go get dress and we can start your usual routine"

Kerrigan blushed as she took the towel and wrapped herself in it. She rolled her eyes knowing that they were both adults however she still did not feel quite the same about it. she set the cookie sheet down and quickly hurried out of the kitchen. She nearly slipped again as she went out of the tiled floor. As she left she hurried went to her room and put on a knee lenght black skirt followed by a white blouse. She braided her long hair into a single ponytail as she sprayed on a sweet smelling perfume as she came out of the room. She had to go to work and she always awoke on the start of the grave yard shift. It usually required making sweets for the next day and cleaning up. With a smile she grabbed her purse and headed back out. "alright, im going to make it through the night today." she said with a smile as she went into the sitting room and saw the couch. With a smile she saw the blanket and started to fold it, one would assume she was a regular human woman, but having fangs and sometimes when she was pissed her true nature would come out.

Nate waited until Klutz got into her room before answer his phone, he takes a deep breath and answers it "What's up Boss?" saying it as if he didn't already know the answer to that question.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THERE NATE, YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO BE IN NEW ORLEANS ON YOUR NEXT JOB!!!!" Boss said loud enough for Nate to think he accidentally had it on speaker.
"I know" Nate said "You just have to give me some more time I can show you shes not a threat sir"
"GOD DAMMIT SHE GOT TO YOU, LISTEN BOY THE REASON I SENT YOU WAS BECAUSE OF YOUR COLD HEART TOWARDS CREATURES LIKE HER" Boss said almost in a loving way "THE GIRL IS DIFFERENT THE ONLY REASON YOUR HAVING THESE FEELING IS BECAUSE OF HER SCENT IS DOING SOMETHING TO YOU, I THOUGHT OUT OF ALL PEOPLE YOU WOULDN'T BE SWAYED BY IT...I'M SORRY SON" he said hanging up the phone.

Nate thought off what the Boss said that he was under some kind of spell and if that was true or not, but mainly him saying sorry. Nate walks into the living to ask Klutz some questions when a flash grenade gets thrown through the window, Nate grabs klutz jumping into her room a kicking the door shot hearing the grenade go off.

Kerrigan blinked several times as she could hear the voice in the other room. It was loud and she heard the words 'cold hearted' and 'creatures like her' she sigh hearing them. She knew that humans all thought of vampires being cold heartless killers. She tried to shrug off the uncomfortable feeling but it would not leave her. She let out a sigh again and was about to leave when she heard something crash through the window, her eyes went wide as for a moment she heard something fall to the ground. She didn't react quick enough and ended up having Nate tackle her into the next room. She heard a bang and followed suit bright light blinking out the room. She quickly clutched her eyes, even though they were in the other room the light was still bright enough to blind her. She let out a scream of pain as she held her eyes. They stung and know she was going to need Nate's help more then anything. She clutched onto him and began to tremble as she knew what was going on. The other hunters were coming after her and let alone him. She knew the other hunters wouldn't be so tolerant with her as Nate was.

Nate's ears rung as if a bell had gone off in his skull not stopping even for a minute, studying flash grenades he knew the effects wouldn't last long even though they didn't have time for them to stop. Nate knows the formation the other hunters were doing seeing how he did it a dozen times over himself two come through the door, one would be downstairs in front and the last hunter will be at the back of the building making the only way out her bedroom window on o the fire escape.
Nate grabs Klutz and talks to her hopping she would understand him seeing the grenade effected her too "We have to go out your window my cars in the alley" he said holding his hand to his ears "Just keep your eyes on me and do what I do...god I hope you understand me". Nate opens the window looking out of it to make sure the coast was clear once it was he climbed out heading down the fire escape holding Klutz's hand, he saw his 1967 Chevrolet Impala at the end of the alley all they had to do was get to it.

Hearing the hunters kick open Klutz's door they moved faster finally making it to the bottom, one of the hunters look out of her window screaming "THERE IN THE ALLY!!!" making them run to the car. Nate runs to the drivers side opening the door pushing Klutz to the shotgun seat, he gets in right away starting the car "Buckle up" he said driving up the alley hitting one of the hunters about to shoot them.

Kerrigan allowed Nate to take her hand and go through the window. She could hear the heartbeats of several more hunters, this was not good. After the flash grenade it had left her vampire senes kicking in. She hoped into the car and buckled her seat belt as she started to breath hard trying to keep herself calm."Mr..Nate..what ever you do...do not get cut. Im in a weakened state, you know how i am a klutz and I rarely show my instinct? After that flash grenade, im not doing so well. If im burned or get hurt by anything that has sunlight or UV, my sense kick in. Just give me a moment to calm down." she said as she started to take deep breaths, she hoped the explanation was enough. The whole scene was scarring her and she didn't like it at all. Her eyes had not turned red, but the urge to defend herself was. She shook in the car seat as she tried to keep calm.

Nate heard everything Klutz said and just toned it out not caring about anything at the moment, but getting on the road and far from her apartment. As they drove out of the city the thoughts running through Nate's head were just starting to annoy him more and more the farther away got form the city, so not wanting to take it anymore he stops on the side of the road and takes the key out of the car "Get out of the car" he told Klutz in a frustrated way and as she gets out he does to.

Its a pitch black road with only the headlights showing them each other "Your going to be straight with me, because as I see it I just lost my entire life back there and saved yours...Now tell me, Is your scent making me do all these things or not?

Kerrigan as they came to a screeching halt got out of the car as she was told. She put her hand on her knees and bent over taking a deep breath before her eyes glinted red a bit and faded back to hazel. She heard him say that her scent could be doing it do him. The thought of it made Kerrigan laugh."Oh trust me, mr. Nate. My scent does not do that. All it does is make me a walking meal to others. and to some humans all they want to use it for is to make me a sex doll. But being a vampire in itself it is automatically a stereo type." she said as she looked to him her face telling the truth."And I relized you lost everything the moment that you did not kill me.That is what makes your different, and if you belive it is my scent that is doing it then cut me right now and ill prove that I do not cause such an effect, I am not a succubus." She said her eyes flaring red again as she tried to keep it under control, her eyes darted around the area mindful of any other creatures that might take the confusion as an oppurtunity.

Nate wanted take her up on her request just to see if she and Boss could be right, but what if they weren't and the feeling that he felt this entire time is real either way he didn't want to risk it. Nate bent down with his back near the left headlight "Our entire lives are pretty much over they wont stop until the catch and kill us" he said now sitting on the ground.

Nate knew what kind of man Boss is, he could be smart, resourceful, kind and all of that could be blinded by his hatred for everything that wasn't human.

Kerrigan let out a sigh as the red from her eyes faded entirely. As she looked to Nate sitting on the ground she bent down and put a hand onto his shoulder. She looked to him with sincere eyes."im sorry that your old life is gone. It is my fault entirely, if there is anyway I could dissapear I would do it. Or in any other case I would willingly go and stay in a cage. After all Your life is more important then mine, even though i still will not age as fast. But if anyway possible I can be of use to you let me know." she said as she looked to him, if anything her actions were not that of a vampire at all. If anything she was more like the klutzy angel that so happened to need blood. As she looked to Nate she could not help but smile to him her face genuine as she hair fell in front of her face.

Nate could hear and feel the words Klutz said to him even though to him those words weren't all true, he stood up looking down on Klutz "Alright stop talking so much crap, these guys don't want to throw you in a cage they want you dead just like me, what I can't figure out is why they would go through such measures to kill you" he said pacing back and fourth "We only use measures like that when the vampire is dangerous like really dangerous and your...well you"

Nate sat on the hood of the car next to Klutz on the ground, he looked at the road ahead of him "Alright its not the time to think about that first things first, from tonight on its going to be me and you at least until I figure out what my Boss is up to till then I'm your bodyguard" he said with a smile

Kerrigan nodded as she looked over to Nate as she knew what his words were. They were going to want her to be killed and let NAte with her. Though she knew his words were true it was strange for hunters to go after her. She was conidsered nonlethal. well except to herself and if you consider her dangerous klutz moments. She looked to him as she blushed when he said he would be her personal body guard. She smiled as she looked to him."Oh alright Nate, your right I shouldn't be so silly sometimes. Maybe their afraid ill go psycho, but nevermind that. IT will be okay if it is me and you, and if we end up having to sleep in the car, I warn you im a cuddler." she said as she blushed again admitting her truth.

Nate saw as Klutz blush after saying that making him smile and think at the same time, the words of Boss were still echoing in his head about him being under some kind of a trance from her scent. No matter what he was feeling he would never know if it was real or if Boss who had no reason to lie lied to him, either way Nate knew it didn't matter all that much what he was feeling he was a human she was a vampire and other then spending his entire life killing off her kind it wouldn't work.

"Yea...we wont have to sleep in the car on my way in city I saw an abandon house not to far from here that will be a perfect place to hide, best place to hide from your prey is where the first time they saw you they'll think we're two states over by now" he said after walking over to the car "If we go no we should be there about an hour before dawn".
Nate gets into the car with Klutz sitting shotgun two seconds later shaking from vibrations from the car then being push back when it hit the road.
