Kerrigan looked to Nate as they started to drive down the road. An abandoned house would be perfect for them, although Kerrigan knew she would be careful. She smiled to herself figuring she would end end badly with her falling through a rotted floor. though car rides no matter how many times she had been in one and no matter the time she would always find herself passed out asleep. And this was another one of those times. Part of the way through she ended up falling asleep in the seat; despite her fangs she did the typical human thing. After a traumatic day passing out in a car for the moment while they feel they are safe.
Kerrigan curled up onto the car seat doozing off the vibrations of the car only sending her further to sleep. She mumbled a few words in her sleep, if she weren't a vampire the setting would have been perfect for a bunch of lovestruck honey mooners.

Nate had drove around the country dozens of times loving the peace and quite just hearing the engine roar, it was always just him and the road for as long as he could remember not a care in the world. Klutz some how destroys that entire feeling replacing it with something else giving off a feeling of bliss that Nate never thought existed, watching her sleep and watching the road was actually difficult for him he didn't know which one he rather be looking at.
They pull up to the house that right off of the road Nate could see that it hadn't been lived in for a least a couple of years making it off the radar which is always good. Nate gets out of the car walking around to the shotgun side opening the door and picking Klutz up as carefully as possible not wanting to wake her. Nate carry's her up the porch and opens the door seeing the dust all over the walls, spider webs, with a broken up couch in the living room "At least there's drapes that will help with the sun" he whispered.

Nate takes her into the living room and places her on the couch sitting on the floor in front of it with his back on it.

Kerrigan awoke after a few minutes of being in a stopped motion. She rubbed her eyes as she awoke to see the abandoed house. She yawned figuring she fell asleep on the way there, as she awoke she saw Nate at the foot of the couch. With a fluid like motion she moved over to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders hugging him. She turly was born into the wrong species, a vampire that was a klutz, kind and benevolent and now she was hugging him without trying to neck him. She smiled as she held him there for a moment enjoying the sensation of being able to hug someone before she pulled back blushing. "I-I-im sorry...I .eh..Thank you Nate." she said as her words didn't come out as she had hoped them too. She looked at him as she pulled back onto the couch looking around the place as she saw several things she had to be careful off.

For that moment she had a disdainful look on her face. She was adamant she was going to end up falling through the floor. She gulped again as she could picture it and end up getting stuck. She let a small laugh escape her lips as she shook her head and let the thought pass.

Nate felt the hug and blushed immediately on contact which was a surprise to even him, usually he would have killed a vampire without even thinking if it had gotten this close. The feeling of her on him was just to good to pull away from and when she did he was happy that he didn't have to. Nate stood up back towards Klutz rubbing his face as if mud was on it only he was trying to get rid of the red he knew is still showing, he turns around to see Klutz sitting up "Uhh, there's drapes on the windows so sunlight wont be a problem I was going to check out the rest of the house while you were sleep" he said walking towards the staircase then stopping "if you want you could come along its just one floor"

Kerrigan looked to Nate with a bright smile as she could tell he was blushing rubbing his face, trying to rid himself of the redness on his cheeks. She looked at him as he walked up to the stair case stopping at the bottom of it. Kerrigan's eyes traced the long staircase; she got up from the couch and put her feet firmly on the ground before she stood up and carefully walked the floors. As she got to the bottome of the staircase she let out a sigh and looked to Nate. "ill join you, though you might want to start first. I have a funny feeling i might end up slipping on these stairs or falling through them." she said almost as if pre envisioning her failure at going up the steps.

"God Klutz you must have some serious incidents to making you scared of going up some stairs" Nate said giggling under his breath "Alright, give me your hand and we'll tackle these stairs together"

Nate walks up the stairs Klutz's hand with his smiling at the same time, this would have piss him off if it was anyone else yet for Klutz it felt almost natural like he had done this dozens of times. They reach the top "See that no casualties we made it up just fine..such a worrier" he said smiling then moving around the second floor.

Kerrigan gulped as Nate spoke to her about haveing bad accidents on stairs. That much was true, stairs were almost like kryptonite to her. She held Nate's hand a little uneasy the entire time, though when she got to the top she looked at him with a smile as she took a deep breath. as she looked to him and smiled brighter."ah that is good, yes i do worry, stairs and i do not end well. But were are checking to see if the top floor has curtains as well?" she asked curious with a smile.

"Yea there should be some up here lets hope the last tenets left them" he said looking around the floor, there were 2 rooms to the right and 3 to the left one is obviously the bathroom which means the rest should be bedrooms "I'll go left you go right cover more ground".
Nate began to move to the left of the house opening the first room seeing a beat up bed on the floor with torn drapes hanging from the window "found the master bed room" he screamed moving into the hallway, seeing this ass a good tie to talk before they went to sleep in the mourning "Klutz if you don't mind me asking have you always been alone?"

Kerrigan as she went left ended up finding two smaller bedroom, one she assumed where childrens rooms. She noticed the drapery was on there as well as a few blinds as well. They were closed and she let a sigh of relif as she looked to down the hallway. She walked down the hallway as she heard Nate calling from down the hallway. She turned her head as walked back down the hallway. She looked to Nate with a big smile as she then heard him ask if she was alone. She nodded as she looked at him in the master bedroom. "well, I have always been alone. Even when I was with my family." she said as her smile disapeared from her face. The scar on her back started to sting as she remebered the pain. Her face grimaced looking to him, as she began to nervously rub her arm.

Nate saw the smile leave Klutz's face soon as she mention her family something he knows all to well about, his family wasn't anyone expect a women that took him in when he was young and Boss who he thought of as a father guess he was wrong about that. Nate brush pass her to get to the other rooms going next door form the master bedroom he opens the door to the bathroom closing it immediately "Must have been pretty lonely even when you where with your parents, kind of makes me think how a girl that's always alone can become you?" he said walking to the next room.

Kerrigan looked to Nate as she continued to rub her arm. She looked at him as she sat down on the old bed that was in the room. She looked to him and then nodded."yes, it was very, very lonely. Though i wouldn't let it affect me too badly. After all it is very different, I wont let ruin who I am. " she said as she looked over to Nate she was uneasy as she sat there for the moment sad. She let out a deep sigh as she undid her hair braid.

Nate open the door to the last room seeing nothing, but book cases surrounding the room "This was definitely a rich family's house Klutz...Klutz?" he said looking in the hallway then hearing thee bed in the other room. Nate saw as she rubbed her arm just before taking out the braid in her hair "Alright I've seen you rub your arm a least 3 times since we've meet I've tried to be a nice guy and not ask until now, What's that scar on your arm?

Kerrigan let out a sigh as she went to gently touch her back. "Well the reason I get nervous is the lashing I got on my back for letting sunlight touch me. I was warned never to do it yet i disobyed. So as punishment i was lashed until I was scarred. " she said as she looked at him a little uneasy about explanning her past to him.

"OK...I officially feel like an ass right now sorry for bring that up" Nate said rubbing the back of his head, he walks into the room sitting on the floor opposite of Klutz with his back to the wall. Nate could feel an uneasiness to the room bring him to a somewhat truthful state, "Klutz you do know that I have feelings towards you right, but to tell you the truth I still don't believe that this real something like this can't happen to me of all people it has to be something in your blood doing this"

Kerrigan looked to him as she waived her hand and rubbed her back again as she looked to him. "it is alright you did not know Nate, it is alright but it does have truth. It does have its past though, my family is fearsome enough to harm their own offspring. But...wait..did you say you have feeling for me? ueh...Nate...I dont know it cant be my blood or the man at the butcher shop would be doing that,and the sweetshop male employees. ...but uh...uh..well..." she said as her face flushed and she could feel herself skipping several breaths as she rubbed her nose as she said embaressed looking to him. She didn't know what to say other then her words getting jumbled up and her face flushing red.

Nate smiles, he knew that she would react in this manner making him almost laugh. Then Nate changed his expression to the way he knew he had to feel "Klutz the only reason I'm telling you this is because, nothing has changed. I may not be a hunter anymore but, my feeling for your kind will never leave and no mater how much I want to having feelings for your I'm not going to act on them"

Nate sat there for a minute thinking over what he said then noticing the sun coming up, he stands up and begins to walk out of the room stopping at the door "There's enough drapes in here to block the sun and giving you a good days sleep....If you want to leave tonight I wont stop you just take care of yourself and just so you know you have no idea how hard it is staying away from you" he said bfore closing the door and heading down the stairs.

Kerrigan looked to him as she notcied he was only playing with her. She rolled her eyes as she knew she wouldn't be able to take care of herself. She was a klutz and she would end up dead, and if her nature came out she would be killed for sure. She watched him leave the room as she rubbed her face not wanting it to have the red blush on her face after hearing that he wouldn't change. As she got up to dust the bed she pulled herself under the covers. She covered her head and her body as she mumbled."humans never change." she said as she heard his last comment of him not being able to stay away from her.

Nate headed down the stairs with a soulful look on his face as if someone had killed his puppy, just before reaching the bottom Nate sat on the staircase with his hands on his face "God this really sucks" he said shaking his head.
The sun had rose half way up shining what little light could get into the house right into Nate's eyes waking him up when he was suppose to go to sleep, jumping up he walks into the kitchen to see a refrigerator and stove still there in good working condition. Nate grabs his stomach "Yea its time to eat" he said walking out of the house and jumping in the car, while Klutz was sleeping along the drive he saw a small ride through town with a market he thought he might as well grabs some groceries if he was going to be there a while.

Nate came back after awhile with the car full of bags forgetting that he eats a lot for someone his size, grabbing all the bags he made his way into the house and through the kitchen placing them on the counter next to the stove. After he fell from exhaustion with his back on the bottom cupboard Nate fell to sleep right there with the bags above his head and peaking through half of them were absolute everything you would need to make cupcakes.

Kerrigan awoke soon after the sun set not realizing what time it was she wrapped the old blanket around her body and only exposed a small bit of her face. She crept down the stairs careful again as she walked close to the the window sill, carefully she lifted the drape and let out a sigh of relif as she saw it was dark outside. She let the blanket fall to the ground as she left her long dark brown hair fall to her sides. She yawned as her fangs glinted in the low light. She then began to rub her eyes as she wondered what the rest of the house would look like. She made her way down the hallway each of her steps making the old wood of the floor creak with her gentle movements. She could smell a strange scent wafting through the house she titled her head as she saw Nate lying on the floor. She looked to him as she saw the groceries on the counter and tilted her head. She knelt down as she put her hand on his face gently caressing it."Nate? are you alright?" she said in a sweet voice hoping she wouldn't anger him from waking him fro his sleep.

Nate felt a warm sensation on his face almost like the sun was hitting him, waking up he saw Klutz's eyes looking right into his making him smile for that brief moment until he remembered what he said last night. Nate grabs Klutz's hand and pulls it away from his face regretting every moment of doing do , he stands up "Uhh, see your still here that's good" he said putting away the food "I bout you some candy and cupcake stuff sorry I couldn't get you any blood they didn't have any at the store that was human anyway haha"

Nate forgot what happened when he was nervous since it hadn't happen for a very long time "I'm going to go lay, sit, fall..." taking a breath "I'm going in the living room I'm still pretty tired". Nate left the Kitchen heading straight to the living just thing about all the things he said and how crappy he felt at that moment, he sits on the couch just playing with his phone.
