Kerrigan looked to him as she held the clothes in a small bag as she turned to Nate. She really was a simple woman, though being a vampire was the only one thing that made her a monster. That and her strong blood line that was attached to it. She for a vampire, was a klutz, a sweet heart, and let alone she had a good heart.


As she left the clothing store she looked at Nate as he stopped in front of the car. She blushed hearing the words date coem from his lips."Nate?! are you serious? I-I- would love to, but are you okay with going to date some one like me?" she asked blushing as she looked to him gently crossing her arms nervous.

"What do you mean someone like you, all I see is a very beautiful girl who is more addicted to sugar then ants are" he said smiling at her, he saw how Klutz folded her arms turning redder then he had ever seen her. Nate was beating out of his chest not slowing down for even a second, feeling how stiff he felt Nate walk to the shotgun side in front of Klutz hands in his pockets "I know what I said back at the house and I'm not trying to flip on and off like a light switch I'm just saying...."

Nate took a deep breath " I'm saying I know what I want and if you can believe or not it's you" he said looking at her rose red face "But you said yes already and I don't think you can take that back" laughing.

Kerrigan felt the heat from her cheeks getting hotter and hotter each passing moment she looked to Nate. She smiled as she relaxed a bit and uncrossed her arms and started to fidget with a stray hair."Oh...I uh, well. Im glad that you would want to go on a date, with a beautiful girl like me. I really hope you do mean your words Nate."She said as she then even fought to get her words out.

She turned to him and smiled widder as she saw that he was really willing ot take a chance on her. That alone made Kerrigan happy, the fact the line between vampire and human was disappearing. She smiled and closed her eyes grinning wide."Im glad Nate, and your right. I already said yes, but Im really glad you want someone like me." she said with a brighter smile. She was beggining to start to feel as if Nate and her could actually be together. And that she was rather happy of.

"Alright so then we're going to go on a date, this is a good thing a really good thing" Nate said with a calm expression even though his heart was still beating out of control and his hands kept shaking. Nate opened the door for Klutz before she sat in the car closing it after, he walks around the car from the back and does a stupid dance while jumping up and down then jumps in the car driving off.

Some how Nate couldn't figure out how he could kill someone without batting and eye, but when comes to a date with Klutz its like his body thinks hes defusing a bomb. They pulled up to the hotel with lights that basically lit up this half of the city, Nate gave the valley his keys and walked with Klutz into the lobby nearly blinding him with all of the lights and bright colors.

They walk up to the front desk meeting a man that looked like a snub if Nate ever saw one "Hi we'd like to have a room please, one most likely near your pool" Nate said leaning on the desk.

"I'm sorry I don't think we have anything in your price range" the man said looking at both Nate and Klutz up and down "however there is a nice motel a mile off" he said looking back down at his computer.

Nate balled his hands up into a fist.

Kerrigan as she got in the car couldnt help but smile widder. It was perfect, they were going to have a wonderful time together. The good thing if Kerrigan wasn't in the car she would have fallen down from all the blood rushing to her cheeks. Sure she was bashful around men and let alone some of the male regulars at the bakery, but this was different. It was actually a genuine date, she smiled as she paitently waited for Nate to get the car going.

Once they got to the hotel the bright lights were a bit too much for kerrigan, they were pretty but it also hurt her eyes. she held onto Nates arm once they were at the front desk. Blinking she opened her Hazel eyes to see a rather snooty man at the desk. She heard the comment the man gave and even over the sound of Nate's racing heart beat, she could tell the man had agited Nate. She let go of Nates arm and turned to the front desk and blinked her eyes to the man.

"um, excuse me sir. Sure we do not look like the wealthiest people, but if we did we would get mugged. If it is not too much trouble could you pkease look? And the reason why I look like I do, my dress got snagged on the spoke wheel of the carrigae horse to get here. Please? It wouldnt be too much trouble just to look?" She asked using her cute vampire charm to her advantage, she really wanted to spend time with Nate. And this was the one time she would use her cute face and her bright eyes to her advantage. She smiled as she let her words flow feom her as if they were smooth lavender clouds, warm and kind.

Seeing how Klutz could think that fast on her feet is something that surprised Nate to the point of his jaw slightly dropping, his eyes right on her face as she leaned over the desk hearing the somewhat flirty in her voice. The man turns leans back regaining his composure and begins typing on his computer.

"There seems to be a sweet open with a pool view on the 12th floor if that's OK sir" he said looking at Nate.

Nate wasn't even paying him any attention he was still looking at Klutz with a confuse yet happy face, he shock his head "Yea that would be great...Thank you" Nate said still trying to get himself together. Nate payed the the man in cash before he handed Klutz the key card, they walked to the elevator getting on one all to themselves.

"Wow, that was...Wow I had no idea you could do something like that, it was almost as if you were a different person"

Kerrigan was rather shrouded herself she was able to pull something off like that. Normally she would have messed up half way in the middle. Once she got the keycard tucked away she looked to Nate in the elevator and leaned against him almost as of she was grossed out by her actions. Turning to Nate she smiled and got up shaking off a feeling she had. She looked to him with her eyes as she teared up."gah! Im sorry Nate, I normally don't do things like that. It makes me feel weird, but that man was just rude and snooty. But don't Thu.I of me less then what I am. I hate using my vampire charm, but I am really happy to be with you, and of I can make things easier for you I will." She said looking to him. Her eyes wet as she felt a year coming down her cheek, she hated using her charm, more or less it was because her family did it for evil purposes. Kerrigan kluzily tripped on her own tell feet as she tried to walk closer to Nate. She ended up falling onto his chest blushing at him.

Nate almost was pushed back by Klutz falling on his chest "Almost for got how clumsy you were, you haven't done anything clumsy all night" he said looking at her red face, her falling on him was different now that they knew how each others feelings and Nate thought that was a good thing. Nate helps Klutz up "You know that the whole make things easier works both ways, if I can help it I'm going to make it so you wont have to save us with your powers again" he said smiling at her "Only one of us should be doing the killing while the other keeps that person sane"

Nate got out of the elevator with Klutz beside him walking down the hallway.

Kerrigan still looked to Nate as she smiled as this was the only one Klutzy thing she had done the entirty of the night. She smiled as she was helped up by Nate. It was much different know that they were fully aware of their feeling for one another. Each touch Kerrigan was havinga harder, and harder time stayin foucsed. She looked to him as they walked down the hallway smilling as she scracthed her nose.

"Well that would be good, I would be really happy if I didn't have to use my power for a little bit. It is not something I am proud of and makes mescared to realize that my blood line runs strong in my viens. Maybe that is why they want me exterminated. Fear I might breed stronger vampires." she said rubbing her arm a little nervous she shook the thought off as she held onto Nate's arm a little more loving then usual smilling and let a giggle escape her lips.

"Im glad we have got a nice hotel room near the pool. I haven't been swimming in a long time, I just hope my body is still in good shape. Oh and I will try to help you as much as I can. In both ways im glad you are wanting to do the same. So what is Mardi-gras all about?" she asked curious still not knowing what exactly it was about.

"Well, your body looks fine from were I'm standing" Nate said smiling at her, he didn't want to tell Klutz what the real reason was for them to have a pool view just wanted her to enjoy every moment before they were back on the wanted list. They turned the corner after seeing there room at the end of the hall, Nate turned his body walking backwards as Klutz asked him a question "Mardi Gra is like a very big party, people eating, playing music, wearing crazy costumes, and enjoying the parade which is all the best things to do on a first date"

Kerrigan smiled and blushed as she heard Nate saying that her body was just as fine. She cmiled as she could see their room on the end of the hall. She couldn't help but grin widder seeing that NAte started to walk backwards to talk to her.

"oh well that sounds like a lot of fun. Parties and everything, though I haven't really been to anything like that. So I guess its a first for everything. But since its a date with you, it will be fun anyway." she said with a big grin as she held the bag of clothes in her hand.

Nate bumped into the door as he was walking backwards then turn to Klutz "Looking like some of your clumsiness is starting to rub off on me" he said smiling. Nate began to walk to Klutz until he was close enough to feel her breath on his chin, he began to come down as if he was going to kiss her only to brush his cheek with hers looking for the keycard Klutz tucked away. "Forgot you had the keycard" Nate said grabbing it from her waist and pulling back.

Nate opened the door to find a room he had only seen in movies and hotel catalogs, to rooms across from each other with there own views, each with its on bathroom and a nice sitting room right when you walking in. "This place is insane never been in such nice classy place...probably because I'm the farthest thing from classy" he said walking around the room".

Kerrigan giggled as she saw Nate backing into the door with a thud. It couldn't have been her clumsiness hadn't rubbed off on him. Rather he was so fixated on her he didn't think to look. Well this is what she thought rather. AS they stopped at the door she looked to see Nate moving closer to her, her face started to blush uncontrollably as she saw him getting closer and closer. She gulped wondering if he was going to kiss her.

Though that thought was quickly removed from her mind as she felt his cheek brush against her and him grabing the keycard from her waist. She almost had a look of disappoint ment on her face, but the biew of the room was enough to take her words away. Her jaw dropped as she walked into the room and rubbed her eyes."wow this place is sooo nice. IT is like something those movie stars can only have. Wow! and look at the bed it is huge!! and the bathroom!" she said as she quickly dropped the bad and closed the door as she went into the bathroom to look at ot. LOnce out she looked to him and smiled."It is nice to be able to stay here, a good way to relax." she waid iwth a smile.

"Yea lets hope that this can last a least for a short while, giving us enough time to know each other" he said smiling back at Klutz, the room was great in every way and with Klutz in it with him everything is the way it should be. Nate checked his phone to see mourning was coming soon, he runs to the windows shutting the drapes one after the other making sure not a bit of sunshine could get through.

Nate jumps down from the last drape walking into one of the bedrooms holdings his head "Dam, I forgot Bullseye deal a hell of a number on me back at the hotel" he said sitting on the bed.

Kerrigan didn't even notice the morning was coming jntil Nate moved to close the drapes. She smiled still amazed at the room, she watched Nate close them then sit on the bed. She walked over to Nate and sat down next to him on the fluffy bed. She smiled looking to him leaning over and giving him a kiss on his forehead. "there, maybe it won't hurt so bad. Whatever he did it must have been pretty bad. But im glad that we can spend some time with each other. It makes me feel like we are normal." She said with a smile as she looked to Nate, she put a hand on the side of his face gently caressing his face.

Kerrigan looked over to Nate's shoulder remebering it was about time for his stiches to come out. Kerrigan looked to him and sighed."Nate, I just remebered that it is probaly time for your stiches to come out. I dont want to hurt you but also im sure you probally want those out."she said with a blushing smile now wondering if she could stop herself from staring at Nates bodt, now that they were aware of each others feelings.

The feeling of Klutz kissing his head was almost ass good as when she kissed his hand back then, he couldn't tell but he could feel himself blushing just a little bit compares with Klutz. Nate looks to his shoulder seeing and feeling that it had gotten a lot better "Your right the stitches need to come out" he said moving his shoulder around, he took his short off and revealed a pocket knife he cares with him "You this to gut the thread" giving the knife to Klutz.

" I don't think being normal is all that cracked up to be" he said with his shoulder sticking out "Don't get me wrong I don want a normal life, but if I had started out normal I never would have meet you...I mean if you were human I never would have looked at you twice that was just how my life was"

Kerrigan smiled as she saw the blush that started to rose to Nate's face. It was almost a blush that rivaled hers. She took the pocket knife from his hand and she tried not to stare at his exposed torso. She looked to his shoulder and saw the skin had healed. She looked to him and smiled as she kised the skin near his stiches and gently removed the first stitch. She let out a sigh of relif trying not to hurt him. "yeah you are right about that Nate, if I was human, we would have never crossed paths. And I would probally be as big as a blimp with my sugar addiction."she said with a laugh as she carefully and quickly removed the second stitch.

"alright two more to go, and Nate the normal i meant is like the other humans do. Find a man or woman they love, and settle down. But for now im glad we dont have to worry about guns or knives thrown at us."she said with a smile as she cut the third stitch and pulled it out. She looked to him and gently fan a finger over the newly formed scar, a small one but a scar none the less. On that note she removed the last stitch and she kissed the scar looking to him."There we go all better, by the way i didnt get a chance to tell you before. Thankyou for getting me those skittles, i really like that fruity taste too."she said with a small laugh.

Nate felt Klutz was spoiling him with the kisses, but it didn't bother him at all, the more the better. Nate looked to Klutz "Your welcome something told me skittles is favorite, I didn't intended on using them as a tool to get your vampire side out...but things never turn out the way it should" he said looking hard enough at her eyes he would have burned a hole through the back of her head id he had heat vision.

Nate felt the tension between the two and wanted to save that for there date tonight, he gets up from the bed putting his shit back on "We should get some sleep, were going to need our energy for Mardi Gras" he said beginning to walk to the next room "You said settling down...what do you mean by that being a vampire in all" turning back leaning on her door.

Kerrigan smiled as she looked to him as she noded about Skittles being her favorite, well processed sweet anyway. She would always love a good home made cake or pastry. But it would works well. She looked to him blushing feeling his hardened gaze on her eyes as she looked away fro a small second as she saw him get up.

"Oh well it just happened to be that way. No harm really, and your guessing was right. As for me settling down, oh find a nice guy. Get an apartment to share it with, spend the moments together. " she said as she looked away blushing more at the thought of it. She looked to him and smiled."you know, you can sleep in the same bed. I don't mind, if actually is cozier that way." she said iwth a smile as she tried to crawl into the bed from where she was sitting. It didn't end to well, attempting to move the covers with her feet she just looked as if she were trying to scracth something. She got up from the bed, pulled the covers back and then crawled into the bed. She looked to him and smiled as a giggle began to escape from her lips.

Nate couldn't help, but laugh under his breath after seeing her in bed. Nate shook his head after hearing her answer knowing that what he thought, it was a simple enough answer one that he heard more often from other hunters. "Alright get some sleep we've got a long night ahead of us and I want you wide awake for it, I'll be in the next room meet you in the middle tonight" he said smiling at her closing her door behind him.

Nate began to walk out of the room closing the door behind quietly not wanting Klutz to hear him leave, running to the car he opens the truck to find nice clean clothes not being picky about what he had to wear in years. Grabbing the nice sweater and a clean pair of jeans he walks back to the room while texting a friend a favor just before falling on hie bed to sleep.
