Kerrigan nodded as she watched NAte leave the room, she yawned and curled up in the bed quickly falling asleep afterwords. Once the sun went down, Kerrigan was already up. She made the bed neatly and made her way into the bathroom grabbing a fresh towel. She quickly stripped her self of the tattered remains of the dress and the borrowed pair of ill fitting pants. She quickly bathed wanting to get the dirt and what ever blood was left on her off. More importantly she wanted to enjoy a shower before they were on the run for it.

Kerrigan once finished she dried her curvy and thin body off. And put on her undergarments and the simple blouse and jeans. she let out a sigh as she foucused on braiding her hair up to keep it out of the way. After all Kerrigan had long hair, and the least things he wanted was for it to get snagged by a costume. Kerrigan cringed at the thought of being knocked off her feet and draggged a small bit before the person realized he snagged someone. She shook the thought off as she opened the bathroom door wondering if Nate had come in.

Nate didn't wake up like back when he was a hunter, for a brief moment there was not a care in the world then he remembered what his life was bring him back to reality. This was different, there was still that brief moment, but this time the moment didn't leave, it stayed with him because he knew tonight was going to be a hell of a night.
Nate jumps out of bed straight into the shower that he desperately needed from all the running he had did with Klutz, when he was done washing his body he hopped out of the shower messing with his hair for the first time in his life trying to make it look good. After realizing there was not hope with his hair he puts on his shirt and pants he ran downstairs to get last night, while putting on his sneakers his phone received a message saying "Everything's set up" bring a smile to his face.

Nate walked out of his room still messing with his hair with one hand and knocking on Klutz's door with the other "Klutz you rea..." he said being left speechless as he saw opening the door to Klutz in the bathroom door way "Wow...you look....Wow" he said smiling.

Kerrigan smiled as she saw Nate bathed and groomed. She smiled and looked to him and giggled. "oh, this? It is nothing really but thankyou. And you look really good too, and I canf wait for tonight. im really excited Nate, and I get to spend it with you as well. Thats what is going to make everything really fun. Nate don't worry im wide awake." She said with a smile turning to him as she walked closer to him.

Kerrigan truly was estatic more then anything, they both got a much needed shower, and now she was going on a dafe. Her first one in a long while. She couldnt help keep the smile on hef face, she was going to be like a kid in the candy store. With a smile and a giggle she looked to Nate with a nod. "I can't wait im ready when you are." She said with a giggle.

Nate couldn't help looking at Klutz, the clothes she wore look as if they were made for her and he had never knew her hair was so long until he saw it in a bread. "Ummm...Yea lets get going I can already her the music outside" he said blousing just by looking at her, Klutz passes Nate while he followed behind her into the hallway closing the door behind him. They both get on the elevator Nate inches from Klutz and no matter how much he wanted to he could not stop blousing.

Kerrigan smiled letting out a giggle as she could feel Nate's eyes wandering over her. She looked to him as she heard the music, her eyes started to twinkle with excitement as she wondered how the outside would look. With a smile she was next to Nate on the elevator, things were going smoothly. She looked to Nate next to her and smiled seeing his cheeks had a gentle pink across them blushing.She smiled and turned to Nate happily. "thankyou Nate, this is all so new. I just hope I don't get too excited and pass out on you." she said with a laugh looking at him in his new clothes as well. HE looked like a completly different person.

"Its alright if you faint I'll catch you" Nate said smiling, they walked out of the elevator on to the street hearing the music loud and clear. Nate could help, but close his eyes for just a second remembering this music mostly was around him all through his childhood, he heard this back when his grandmother played it while she cooked in the dinner. After that he grabs Klutz's hand running to where the lights were the brightest and the music was the loudest.

Coming into the light Nate saw the parade taking place with hundreds of costumes all over the place, he looked to Klutz seeing the same expression like they were both kids at a amusement park. Nate guided Klutz to the front of the crowded to get a better look at the parade floats, finally getting to the front Nate brought Klutz into his arms in front of him holding her waist "What do you think?" he said over her.

Kerrigan let out a happy laugh as she heard the music and saw the bright lights. She blushed feeling Nate grab her hand and lead her to the loudest and brightest part of the parade. The lights were a little too bright for her eyes but she managed. As Nate guided her, kerrigan's eyes wandered to see the parade floats and the wild costumes, some of which made her blush just by looking at them. Kerrigan befrlore she could even gawk and stare felt helf pulled by the waist in front of Nate. She blushed being so close to him, sure she had cuddled him in bed but this was much different.

Kerrigan smiled and looked to him letting her gaze drop for the moment before she returned a wide smile. "evertyhing is so wonderful. Everything is so bright and full of life. And being her to share it with someone is the icing on cake." She said with a smile as her Hazel eyes met his.

Nate looked back at her seeing his refletion in her hazel eyes "Yea I know what you mean, sometimes these moments need a person to share it with and I'm glad your mine" he said still looking at her eyes. Nate almost fell into a gaze looking at Klutz's eyes until he thought he heard gun shots making him grab on to Klutz tight thinking a hunter was shooting at them, until he saw a bunch of guys just setting off set off poppers.

"Sorry just a little worried" he said losing his grip on her "Things are going really good which is around the same time something goes wrong".

Kerrigan blushed feeling his gaze, she could feel Nate looking to him. She smiled looking to him as she jumped hearing popping sounds. Being pressed close to Nate, her face flushed red again looking to him smilling shyly." oh it is alright, we are still a little skiddish to loud popping noises. But im glad things are going well on this date. And even now im having a very hard time not blushing. Seeing how close we are." she said with a smile as she rested her head agasin't his shoulder.

"Yea, this is really nice" Nate said feeling her head on his shoulder, he stood there with Klutz in his arms watching the floats go by one by one listening to the music fell the streets escaping into his there ears. This was the most peaceful Nate had been in a very long time and with Klutz in his arms that peace could last forever, making him fight just as hard to keep her alive.

As the parade began to end Madi Gra wasn't, Nate looked at his phone seeing they had hours before the sun came up, but he wasn't worried about the sun. There's a little time before the show started giving him time to grab Klutz and him something sweet,"Come on, I know a nice Ice cream shop not far from here" he said holding her hand and walking "So...hows it going so far" he said smiling.

Kerrigan smiled the lasting peace made her love the fact he once had hunted her. The whole time she had been with him she wanted to stay like that forever. She smiled while she rested her head on him, she wanted to do her best to keep him healthy, and if that was putting herself at risk she was intending on doing it.

Kerrigan looked to him as she heard the words ice cream from Nate's lips. If she had ears and a tail they would be wagging. Kerrigan smiled as Nate held her hand, and she his as they resumed walking. "Oh I am loving it Nate. Everything is so colorful and so much music. The best part of it, im being spoiled by you Nate." she said with a giggle as she closed her eyes as they walked, she hadn't had a klutzy moment all night, but this time she walked straight into a pole. With a 'DING' Kerrigan backed away from the pole rubbing her head. "ow, i forgot how much of a klutz i am." she said as she let out a laugh rubbing her red forehead.

Seconds after hearing the ding Nate began to laugh pulling her closer at the same time "Let me take a look at it Klutz" he said bring her close seeing the bruise heal right away, but Nate still saw this as an opportunity to repay her for all those kisses he had been getting. Nate kisses her no longer bruised head "There, know you should feel all better, I always do" he said smiling "Now lets get some ice cream"

Nate pulls her to the ice cream parlor seeing more ice cream that the would see in his life, he began to order when he stopped and looked at Klutz "Your the sweets lover here, how about you pick out our ice cream...and after we have some place to be".

Kerrigan closed her eyes after Nate pulled her closer to him. She moved her hands away to let him see the bump. She blushed feeling his lips agaisnt her forehead. He was right id didn't bother her any more and if anything that was her first kiss she had gotten from Nate. WIth a smile she walked with him to the Ice cream parlor nearly running to it. Half way she stumbled a bit getting up and walking as if nothing happend.

She giggles happily as she walked into the ice cream parlor her eyes already glued to the menu. She couldn't figure out which one she wanted. With a smile she looked to the man behind the counter."could I get two scoops of strawberry with a waffle cone please" she asked her voice nearly chirping from behing so excited.

Nate payed for the cones handing Klutz's her as the walked out of the shop "Strawberry with a waffle cone now I never would have thought of that" he said licking his ice cream "which makes sense since I'm not a sweet genius like you". Nate saw how much Klutz enjoyed her ice cream knowing this was a great idea, he was glad he thought of it.

Nate looks around seeing how the people having fun telling which were drunk and which were sober, not forgetting which were human and which were supernaturals. Nate could see which was which not only, because he was train to. They were looking at him and Klutz with confusing and angry faces, he could tell they had never seen a human and vampire together.

Once kerrigan was given her icecream she started to lick it immeidiatly as he looked to him. For a moment she was wondering why he was looking around, and some of the glares from the people were enough to make her uneasy. She looked to Nate smiling as she held up her icecream cone to him. "want some?" she asked with a big smile.

"oh and strawberry something I love eating as well. Though I would get in trouble for eating them. There was this one time I nearly chocked on one, but that is a story for another time. It was my klutzy prime time, I just hope I will take it ewasy with the klutzyness, whats the worse I could do...opps." she said as she was talking she held it around and ended up smushing the end of it onto Nate's mouth. She blushed looking at him as she giggled."sorry" she said as she licked the icecream of his lips, for a moment not realizing what she had done. One she did realize she licked his lips she pulled back and flushed red."sorry, sorry about that...I shouldn't have done that." she said blushing again, she was truly acting like a woman on her first date.

Nate swallowed Klutz's ice cream whole after it was pushed into his month giving him an immediate brain freeze making him drop his ice cream cone, he held with head with his eyes closed getting through the brain freeze while feeling something hit his lips. Nate opened his eyes to see Klutz licking off the ice cream off his lips, his eyes widen from that surprise even though he didn't care.

"Its cool...its fine, I mean that's a first for me, but-" Nate said stopping mid sentence, he wipes his mouth moving closer to Klutz bring his arm around her waist moving downward kissing heron the lips. The feeling was nothing Nate had felt before, it was a mixture of happiness, bliss, and euphoria all in one, the feelings all happening at the same time. Seconds later Nate pulled away "I'm sorry, I didn't want to surprise you like that..."

Kerrigan let out a slight smile knowing that it was alright with Nate. She let out a few more gasping embaressed hiccups before she heard Nate's words cut off. She looked to him a bit concerened but they were put to rest upon Nate pulling her clos embracing her and giving her a kiss. Kerrigans eyes widded but soon fluttered closed after a few moments, she was both surprised and glad he did hug her and giver her the kiss. It was her first kiss, and now she could hear her faint hearting skipping beats.

Kerrigan let herself melt into the kiss, it was mixed with so many differe.t feelings, she herself couldn't understand. She looked to him after they roke the kiss. Kerrigans eyes blincked and her cheeks a rosy red, she looked to him and smiled."dont worry Nate it may have caught me off guard , but it was wonderful. A kiss"she said as she ran hand over her lips where they kissed.

All that went through his head was the word moron over and over again, his stomach twisted up in him feeling like it was tieing a knot. When Klutz said it was OK he felt a little relief comeback even though his stomach still was acting wacky, he looks at Klutz as she touch her lips making Nate blush right away."Ummm...I think we're running late we have to hurry" he said taking her hand from Klutz's lips and running a couple of blocks ahead.

Nate saw the crowded in the park still growing waiting for everything to start, he looks across the street fro=m the park at the top of these 3 story buildings finding what he was looking for. The building front door already open Nate runs through heading up the stairs with Klutz behind him, he stops when he sees the rooftop door "Alright, your going to love this" he said moving behind her cover her eyes. Nate opens the door guiding Klutz through it stopping just in the right spot "OK 1...2..3" he said removing his hands showing her a rooftop full of clear christmas lights surrounding them with a blanket open in the edge of the roof for them to seat "Like it?"

Kerrigan smiles as she felt her hand taking as they ran forward. Kerrigan smiled as she couldn't wait to see what they were late for. With a laugh she raw with him. She looked around once they passed the crowded park as they walked.

She could hardly wait as she felt Nate covering her eyes as he lead her. Once she heard the countdown her heart nearly stopped when she saw the bright christmas lights. She let out a happy chirp seeing it as she nearly jumped up and down. She looked to him as she turned around and hugged him smiling. "Oh thankyou Nate, It is really pretty!! You did all this for me?" She said with a smile nearly having tears come from her eyes. She held him for a moment longer looking to him, she smiled giggling."Nate" she said with a happy giggle.

Nate held Klutz just staring into her eyes getting lost in them once again "Yea, I called in a favor to Glitch, you have to remind me to thank him when I see" he said holding her tight to his body. Nate felt his heart thumbing louder and louder in his ears still remembering that kiss that almost had him weak in the kness, "Klutz, this as been the best night in my whole horrible existence of a life...and..." with out realizing Nate kisses her again this time not thinking about pulling away for even a second.

All the feelings came back to him ass if he was getting his high off of a drug, nothing in the world mattered in that moment. Seconds after Nate heard a loud boom noise followed by lights hitting Klutz's face, normally hearing that noise would have had Nate dropping to the floor with Klutz, but this time he was so engulfed by Klutz's lips he could care less. Plus he knew that they had to be the fireworks they were going to watch together.
