Kerrigan looked to Nate smilling looking to him blushing feeling his body close to hers. She looked to him as she closed her eyes feeling thier lips pressed together kissing. She let her body melt into it, hearing how since this night Nates life was orrible. She hated to hear that and she was glad that she could make a difference to him. It was wonderful for her. She didn't want to break the loving kiss,even despite the loud booming noise.

Everything was perfect he looked over to him smilling her legs buckling as she was held by Nate. She let out a small moan enjoying the feeling. She held his shoulder not caring about anything other then Nate.

Nate didn't know when exactly he fell for Klutz until he actually fell with Klutz to the ground, Nate didn't notice till the last minute that Klutz's legs were buckling just as his were by the kiss. With both of there legs numb they had fell to the ground Nate cushioning Klutz fall with his chest, "Uhhh, I guess that kiss must have been good for both of us" he said sitting up looking at Klutz.

The fireworks were still going off, but Nate still listening to his heart beat could only tell by the different color lights coming off of Klutz's face.

Kerrigan let a small laugh as she and Nate feel to the ground of the roof. The kiss had bene more then a good thing for her. She smiled looking to Nate as she looked to him on his body. She smiled looking to him with a pig smile.


"yeah I think it certainly is, even now I can barely hear your heartbeat over mine. If anything this is the loudest I have ever heard my heart before. Nate, I do know how to describe what I am feeling." she said looking to him resting her head closer to his chest smilling."this is the best date Nate." she said with a smile as she looked to him his eyes she smiled happily. The entire time of her life, she never had felt a feeling before. Despite being a vampire she felt alive, she wondered if it was feeling Nate's pounding heart, or her own , that made her feel as if she were human. She smiled as she could see the bright colors flashing on Nate's face. She smiled looking to him kissing his lips again though sh e shook the entire time a little nervous.

Nate felt the trampling in her lips when Klutz kissed him feeling her heartbeat beating against his almost like two drums going against each other. Nate pulls away gently "Your right this has been without a doubt the best date that I have ever been on" he said taking a deep breath looking up at the night sky smiling "And I promise whatever feeling you thing this is, I'll make it so that it never leaves you"

Nate stood up pulling Klutz up with him still watching the the colors of the fireworks change on her face, he begins to walk backwards toward the roof side pulling Klutz along to get a better look at the fireworks. Nate curls Klutz up in his arms to his chest and stands there just watching fireworks go off.

Kerrigan smiled as she heard Nate speak to her. It was good for hik as much as it was for her. From the way it sounded this was the best date Nate had gone on. And for her, it was her first time. She smiles as she was pulled up by nate as they began to walk towards the edge. Kerrivan couldnt help but think of Nate's words over and over again. The feeling she had inside od her would be kept by him. She was turly glad of that.

Curling up agasint Nate's chest she looked to the fireworks with awe. She had never seen anything capable or, pretty like it. Well she had seen fire crackers, but that was a different story. She watched the fireworks while nestled inbetween Nates arms. She smiled watching the bright colors appear then fade. She looked to him with a giggle not wanting to leave his hold."Nate, im glad that the feelings we are having won't leave. To be honest, this is the first time I have felt like this." She said to him blushing.

Nate heard Klutz say this was the first time she felt like this, he couldn't say back like that, because he did have feelings for some one like this a long time ago even though the feelings weren't as strong as how he feels about Klutz he still remembers them. When he fireworks end Nate walks with Klutz down the stairs into the street blending with the crowd, while they walked Nate could feel eyes watching him and Klutz. Nate figures it was only the other supernaturals judging them with the scolding looks knowing him and Klutz should really not be together.

As they walked deeper into the city the lights were brighter and the music louder, "We'll we still have a while before the sun comes up, What do you do?" Nate said with his arm around her.

Kerrigan let out a sigh as she watched the fireworks show die down. As she began to walk with Nate. She couldn't help shiver feeling the prying eyes of the other beigns that were looking to them. She smiled anyway despite the fact they were not the 'ideal' couple. She laughed looking to him as she squinted her eyes to the brighter light and the loud music. She loved it but everytime it got brighter her eyes weren't doing so well. She leaned on Nate her face on his chest nuzzling him.

"Id love to go some where with you. After all you know this place better then I do. But it seems these bright lights are getting to my eyes, I mean there pretty. But after awhile these sensitive eyes hurt, i know this may be asking a lot. But is there some place were we can talk and get to know each other?" she asked as she looked up to him again and smiled her eyes closed."but don't worry in a little bit we can come back after my eyes stop hurting" she said with a small giggle.

Nate looked to Klutz then around to see if he could remember a place from when he used to roam around here here with a friend, "I think I know a place where there should be no lights, if its still under construction" he said looking down the street "Its this way. Nate walks with Klutz hand and hand down the street when he saw a news broadcast on a t.v across the street in an electronic store, he couldn't hear anything, however, after seeing the hotel he killed Bullseye at he didn't have to hear anything.

Nate kept walking not changing his expression letting Klutz know what he saw, he kept his smile looking at her and it was easier then he thought when he looks at Klutz. Nate saw the still under construction office building "Still not done?...well that's good for us" he said leading Klutz into the back way of the office building, he switches on the power jumping on the elevator with Klutz.

Kerrigan smiled as he knew a place that there would be no lights. She let out a sigh of relif to the notion of that. With a smile she followed him to the building site. It was dark, quiet, and best of all her tired eyes could have a break from the bright lights of earlier. She looked at him and smiled seeing the site still was not finished to his expectation. But all the better as he stated.

"oh wonderful! Im glad that you know this place," she said with a relaxed sigh,"Who would have known a vampire like me with such dulled senses would still haver their eyes hurt by bright lights. But Nate, Once we get to the floor we need, is it alright if I ask a few things to get to know you?" she asked with a smile.

Nate heard Klutz ask that just before the elevator stopped on the 20th floor he pulled the get up getting out holding Klutz's hand, because he could see this was an accident waiting to happen and knowing Klutz it will happen. The floor they were on is completely empty just like Nate remembers it, a giant floor just waiting to be filled in my cubicles laid there slightly dark and empty.

Nate pulls Klutz to what he always thought would be a future bosses office, walking into it the lights from the city shined through the windows giving the room and almost moonlight feel "So where here..." he said he said smiling " What do you want to ask me?"

Kerrigan heard and felt the elevator stop at the floor they needed. The place was dark and it was wonderful. No music and no bright lights to blind her eyes. She was glad Nate held her hand. She surely would have fallen through the floor if he hand't. Once in the room, she looked around from it seeing the moonlight effect that had on the room. With a smile she turned to him and blinked happily.

"Welll, First of all if you don't mind me asking, were you born here in this city?" she asked curious. She wasn't about to ask the mood killer question, why did you start hunting in the first place question. She would save that for last. She didn't want the night to be ruined.

Nate smiled knowing that from looking at her face it wasn't the first question she wanted to ask, "No, New Orleans was just a place for me and friends to get away" he said walking to the window "You hunt so much driving all over the country you start to lose yourself so I figured I'd make a place my own and that was New Orleans". Nate leans on the window staring out at the city just remembering the history he had here.

"How about we go back and fourth, you ask a question so do I" he said looking at Klutz "You had to have known that If you stayed in that city for to long a hunter would come for you, why didn't you leave?"

Kerrigan looked to him as he answered her question. She smiled knowing that this wasn't his first place to stay. She smiled as it was just a place to make on his own. She looked to him and then shook her head and smiled at asking each other of each question. She looked at him and giggled. At his question she flushed red.

"um well, to be honest. I didn't think of hunters to be honest." she said as she started to fidget with her fingers. She let ou a laugh looking to him. "Oh well, I didn't leave because I had people depending on me. The butcher for the extra help, the master chef needed my help for pastry making. To be honest I thought my klutzy attitude would be a joke of a vampire." she said looking ot him with a smile. " Oh well, but I dont know if this might offend you, but Why did you become a hunter? if you do not mind me asking." she said with a sweet smile.

"Well if it was any other person asking me that question I would've just ignored it, but since I like you so much" Nate said smiling at Klutz " I'll tell you...For as long as I could remember I've been alone, no parents, brothers, sisters, none of it until my grandmother found me, her names Stella. Now she isn't my real grandmother she just took me in after I broke into her diner looking for food, I held a gun right at her face that night and she still took...she said she saw
something in me that night".

Nate sat just under the the window with his knees almost against his chest, "I tried almost every week to runaway after that, but some how she always seemed to find me a bring me back. Then the very last time I ran away a shape shifter got her while she was out looking for me and when I realized how far I ran I turned around running back to the dinner seeing a group of hunters in front of it, Boss had saved her just before that thing killed her and ever since then I promised I would never let any supernatural bastards hurt the ones I love again, that's when Boss started teaching me"

Nate looked at Klutz and sighed "I'm sorry Klutz I'm rambling, uh its my turn". Nate could barley think after talk about his past like that, he had never once talked about it, at least not with anyone who already knew everything. " Why not try to be with someone?, I mean before you meet me. Your not bad looking and for someone that eats candy like a 6 year old you have one hell of a body" he said laughing "So why?"

Kerrigan looked to him as he answered her question. She looked to him as she could imagine the night and the story that he had told her. She looked to him with a softened face as she walked over to him under the window. She smiled as she put a hand on his shoulder and still listened.

She couldn't help wonder why he was all alone, even when she had family she was alone. She understood the feeling rather well. She let out a sigh as she turned to face him."I understand, making that devotion to protect the ones you love. Even though I didn't have anyone to love till now. You Nate, but I would do anything to keep you safe." she said as she set it with determination in her eyes.

She then had a blank expression on her face when the subject or her being with someone. She then blushed red and looked to him shaking her head."uh, well i usually didn't get anyone that did care about me. Let alone, I never was close to anyone. It was my dangerous klutzy demanor not attractive. Despite having a 'hell of a body'. I always wore a dress so not much of it could be seen. You can say the butcher, and the Chef were much like fathers to me. And my candy eating habit I had always had." she said as she scrathed her nose turning to him and then blinked remebering it was her turn to ask the question. "Oh, it might be personal, but why didn't you kill me when you first saw me? the others would have done it on spot." she asked, she was starting to get to know Nate based on this.

Nate looked at Klutz with a some what confused look after saying that her clumsiness wasn't attractive, "I give that your klutziness might throw a couple of guys off, but to guys like me its more cute then anything else and when it really counts clumsiness it no where to be seen" he said moving Klutz arm from his shoulder and wrapping his arms around her bring her closer to him. Nate didn't forget what Klutz said to him, that she loves him, it wasn't that he didn't want to say it back his feelings for her are without a doubt love.

Nate had only said that to one other person in his life, after seeing how that ended he was a little hesitant. Slightly dazed Nate turns to Klutz to answer her question, a question he had been wondering about himself. "Umm, well at first I thought you used that vampire gaze you guys have, but after a while I realized it was something more, I couldn't really hurt someone that so fragile" Nate said lifting Klutz's chin up "So i decided I wanted to take care of you instead".

Nate kissed Klutz just right so that she saw he wasn't going anywhere for a very long time, then pulling away "Its my turn...If we survive this, which we will, what kind of life do you want?"

Kerrigan looked to him feeling his arm around her shoulders pulling her closer to him. She smiled and blushed happily leaning into to him. She couldn't help but giggle to his words. "Yeah, I think for some guys it does throw them off. But I guess your right, it is cute more then anything. Well if i don't trip carrying something heavy" sHe said with another laugh.

She blinked for a few seconds wondering what he could have meant about the 'vampire gaze'. She then rembered what this gaze was, a trance used by vampires to induce their prey in a trance like state. She looked to him blushing as he spoke his gentle and kind words. She was fragile and easily could be broken, but in certain circumstances would be a deadly tool.She looked to him her face heating up as she felt Nate's hand lifting up her chin. With another moment she felt Nate kiss her. She let out a happy sigh as the kiss ended and nate asked his question.

"Well I would love to have a happy life by the man I love. And maybe someday I can open up a bakery and sell lots of sweet things to people. And I want to have a home were we can take care of each other." she said with a smile as she looked to him putting a hand on his hands gently holding them. "Nate, What if we couldn't make it out alive. What would you do if you were clearly able to see th nasty side of me?" she asked with curiosity.

After Klutz finished asking her question Nate thought back to what he saw her turn into back at the hotel outside of town, it wasn't something he hadn't seen hundreds of times on the road it was just seeing Klutz turn into a true vampire was something he could have done without seeing. "I'm going to lie seeing that side of you didn't get me a little raddled, for a moment you look just like the things is use to hunt"

Nate didn't want to say anything to make Klutz feel like he was comparing her to other vampires, he choose his words carefully "Hopefully I can protect us well enough so you wont have to show the other side of you, but if you do I'll be there to pull you back even if it means me forfeiting me life" he said smiling at her.

"OK my last question, You know I'm human and I age so...how is thins going to effect you in the long run?"

Kerrigan looked down as she turned to him and then knowing it did bother him a little. And that she was like something he had killed before. But with that she looked to him and nodded. She held him closer with a smile.

"well in honesty Nate, I wouldn't care if you aged. After all, I love you and I won't let that get past me. If anything, id want to die the moment you did. Im sure this sounds all rather mushy, but I would spend the rest of my life with you. But in the long run, I would probally be a train wreck when your gone. But ill be able to handle it. And here is my last question, So what is your fantasy?" she asked with a small giggle as she said it in a way that had a more mischevious undertone to it. Rather in a way only lovers should speak off

It was out of the blue and completly mood lifting that even Kerrigan began to blush under the light. She gulped as she started to laugh nervously."eheh, well thats not what I meant. I meant if you had a girl what would be your wildes---Gah!! Thats not what I mean either...If you..eh.." she said her face still blushing her words mixing up as she spoke.

Nate heard those words come out of Klutz's mouth making him blush right away, he held her losing his grip from the question that really surprised him. "Well.." Nate said cutting Klutz off from stumbling over her words "I'm not exactly new when I'm with a girl Klutz, I have slept with someone so every fantasy you could almost probably think of I've done it" he said feeling his stomach swirl around as if butterflies lived in it. Once Nate finished answering the question he started to his about his past, he thought about the only girl he ever slept that he loved, until know.

Nate tighten his hold on Klutz bring her back to his chest "I don't know of this qualifies as a fantasy, but I wondered what it would be like being with a vampire" he said looking into her eyes. "What about you, what's your fantasy?"
