What did she want to cook today? She wasn't particularly hungry, so something that would keep her mostly occupied but be done in a few hours. Stew. She would make stew. She took out the stew meat and set about coating it in oil and flour, then cooking it up and then dumping it into her giant cooking pot. She added water, her stew mix- trade secret! Some beef broth, and cut up some onions and then put it on the stove to simmer. She then set about cutting up the large amount of vegitables stew called for. Carrots, celery, potatos, some cabbage, and grabbed some corn on the cob and cut off the kernels to toss in as well.
Taking out her book she set a timer for about 40 minutes to let the meat cook a bit more in the broth first, and then she would add the vegitables. All in all, stew would take about 2 1/2-3 hours to make, so she had some time to read a good book and relax. Good home cooking always had some time in between to relax.

Luna enclosed herself in her room. thankfully she didn't work today so she would have time to get some studying in. She grabbed a hair tie from her desk drawer and put her hair up in a mess bun. Ry always teased saying it looked like her head was exploding with the way the hair ended up sticking out everywhere, but honestly she didn't care, it was off her neck and that was all that mattered.
She spread open a few books on her desk all of them filled with diagrams of animals. some going in depth about their bone structure others about their habits and mannerism. She flipped through the pages until she got to the aquatic section.
Their recent mission had gotten her thinking. She really did need more of a variety of forms to use in battle. Especially something like what happened.
She really didn't have a pool of her own that she could use but she could try out shaping her legs into the tail for now. It would be best to save the gills for later.
She looked over her books gathering as much information as she could.
She scooted her chair a bit away from the desk and began morphing her legs. She hadn't done many aquatic animals so it was a new sensation. she giggled at the thought that she was starting to look like a mermaid.
She turned her fin a bit to try and get a better look at it but ended up loosing her balance and falling out of her chair.
She grimaced as she turned herself over and tried to sit up. So far so good but she could feel the moisture disappearing quickly. She focused on her legs trying to morph them back but for some reason it wasn't quite working. she had a bad feeling about this.

"Hurry commander! SGR is in the building ahead." Ry grinned and maneuvered her controller to take her with her troops into the insurgent base. The sounds of bombs and gunfire were blaring from the tv screen, bringing the experience to life in incredible 3D. She chuckled darkly as she watched the enemy soldier's head explode with gore that looked like it was flying out of the screen only to hear a far too real thud come from inside her home.
The dark female frowned, pressing start on her controller to pause the game. The black 3D glasses made the room look strangely blue and red, hurting her eyes until she took them off to look around. There was Mina, in the kitchen doing what she usually did. Dinner would be good tonight. Not to say that the chef didn't do anything but good food. But where was... An exasperated look came across her face as she climbed up from the couch and moved over to her least favorite room in the casida.
Knock knock. The shadow hero knocked on the door before pushing it open and looking around. She expected to see the pink haired girl at her computer where she usually was. Instead she was mimicking a fish out of water, pink brains exploding from her skull included, on the floor. She blinked twice before putting her palm to her forhead and shaking it back and forth in disbelief. "Shouldn't you have at least done this in the bathroom?"

Mina was deep into the pages of her book when the thump sounded, she didn't pay attention to it much until she heard a door open and an exasperated voice say something. She marked her page before taking a look around.
Nobody on the couch, game paused.... well, that only left one place- especially since she was in view and if it had come from ken, it wouldn't be a thud, but a large BOOM!
She walked lightly over to the ajar door to the pink hero's room and took a peek inside. It wasn't all that surprising, as far as the image that met her there. Luna, half fish on the floor, and Ry, shaking her head at the mer-Luna.
"That doesn't look very comfortable. Why don't you just turn back?"

Bump~
The pink haired female chuckled awkwardly as she sat up to the glare and overly concerned look of her roommates. Swallowing hard she tried to play it off to no avail.
"well I didn't think I would get stuck or anything and I didn't want to have to drag all my books in there... Though I do admit it might have worked out better in the bathroom..." She paused for a moment letting out a heavy sigh.
"and as my luck would have it, I can quite seem to switch my legs back. I must have gotten something wrong again." She grumbled and eyed her fin legs trying to morph them back to no avail. This was quite problematic. She squirmed over to the desk trying to grab some of the books, only to end up knocking one on her head. Rubbing the welt that was most likely forming, she turned back to the girls sheepishly.
"Perhaps it might be best if I got in the tub before it dries out..." She finally admitted getting ready for the whirlwind of sassy comments from the dark skinned female.

The shadow hero pulled her hand down her face and let out a long sigh. Her green eyes were locked onto her room mate, the fishy tail changing practically nothing about the girl as far as she was concerned. After all, she was still too bright, still too happy, and far too clumsy. The only saving grace in this particular situation, was the simple fact that she was couldn't move far enough to cause damage to anyone but herself.
The half-fish girl's book his her own head and Ry couldn't help but smirk. "Bathroom it is." A simple geture with her fingers and a deep shadow seeped across the floor, seeming to become solid enough to pick the book up off the floor. "I'm sure Mina can drop you in there." The same shadow put the book where it belonged and followed her as she walked away, starting water in the tub as she went. "If not, she can always turn you into fishticks."

"Mmmm, fishsticks.... With tartar sauce! And maybe some fries... Oh-no! I'm kidding, I would never!" Mina chuckled as she bent down to scoop up the little hero into her arms. It was nice to have super strength, though, the long fish tail didn't make carrying her any less awkward of a chore.
"Lets get you in some water, and then you can try and figure out why your morpher is broken on 'half-fish' mode." The older woman smiled and lightly set Luna down into the water. Thankfully the water felt rather nice, so Mina really didn't mind gettin partially wet to do so.
"Are you going to need any books... Or something... To help get you, um, fixed?"

Luna stuck out her tounge at the dark haired hero as Mina carried her to the bath. She let out a sigh of relief as the moisture soaked into her fin again.
"Thanks." She replyed to Mina and then to Ry. She really would be a lost cause with out these two, though, she wouldn't have it any other way.
"Hmmm I think 'Atlas of the Human antomy' and the 'Encyclopedia of fish Physiology' will work. They should still be on my desk." she finished pondering a bit.
She was going to have to re-structure her legs again bit by bit it seems and figure out what went wrong along the way. This was going to be rather tedious.

Stood back in the living room, looking at the game she was beta testing with a sort of longing desperation. She would much rather sink back into the 3-D world and continue to kill her enemies with guns and other weapons of war. However, it was highly unlikely that Luna was going to succeed in their dinky tub. Eventually they were going to be begged to take her out to the pool. She could pratically feel it. It would only tick her off even more than she was already bothered if she started her game and was interupted again.
The dark skinned girl let out a long suffering sigh and looked back to the bathroom, to her bedroom, and then the kitchen. A little smirk popped onto her lips and she headed towards the brightly lit area that only Mina could truly lay claim to in any form. The shadow hand from before opened cabinets until she found the object of her desire. Cheese crackers shaped like fish. She hummed just a bit, bringing down the box and wandering back to the bathroom to munch on the snacks while she looked at fish-girl. "Fish-sticks would be easier." She popped an orange fish in her mouth, crunching happily.
