My USA July 4th playlist.

OPERA GX Background Music and my typing. I love typing sounds.
**The actual music video has some violence and blood but if you like mildly unnerving things it’s impossible to look away.
**the video for this song is just something else in the weirdest way possible. But the song is amazing and always puts me in a manic, power hungry villain mood. If you want to watch just. Something weird? Watch the video.
Lately its been a lot of sad (norse?) music. I'm still grieving a loss of someone close to me, so it resonates slightly better with my general mood. The theme seems to be mostly sad Gealdýr music? But there's some other stuff too.
I like this one below because its a buildup and you can read it in three languages at once. There's the English, Norwegian and (if you turn on captions) Spanish. Also its quite ominous (and very, very cheesy). I sometimes listen to this and daydream about characters performing shamanistic rituals to it.

Robbie Steinhart, the violin player of Kansas, passed away a few days ago….
That Godzilla thread got this song stuck in my head. . . . .
Rest In Peace Charlie Watts (upper right), the only drummer the Rolling Stones has ever had.
Came across this on imgur...
only has a few hundred views, but is pretty hilarious.

Made a new playlist recently... this is what I've been listening to the most from it.
This and also 'forgot about the sun' which is what I named the playlist after
My playlists tend to have themes that link them together, though in this case it might not be readily apparent to anyone other than me

Lyrics
So many reasons to stay
Its taking its toll on my pride
I'd rather feed denial than face
What I thought I left behind
Not a minute wasted on the truth, and I'm lucky to survive
And no, it wont consume
Oh, only if I can refuse
I don't really wanna live inside of this
I don't really wanna let this go!
I don't wanna be the one who cant resist
Not this time around
I dont really want to live inside of this
I think its time for me to let this go
Let this go, I'll let this go tonight!
I'm held captive by the mind
Relentless and unforgiving
The darkest part I choose to hide, is slowly killing me
Hard to see the freedom in the truth, am I strong enough to try?
And no, it wont consume
Only if I can refuse!
I don't really wanna live inside of this
But I dont really wanna let this go!
I dont wanna be the one who cant resist
Not this time around
I dont really wanna live inside of this
I think its time for me to let this go
Let this go, I'll let this go tonight
Let this go, I'll let this go tonight!
And no, it wont consume
Only if I can refuse!
I don't really wanna live inside of this
But I dont really wanna let this go!

I wish there was an extended version of the Bryce Pinkham rendition. Not that there's anything wrong with the Sam Haft version, but it'd be nice to have both.
