The name is Rhael. I am female, 29 years old, from a sleepless city on the East Coast of the US of A. I have role-played in various forms for about 15 years, and just about anywhere (email, forums, instant messaging and even more platforms). Although I'm not fond of describing or even judge myself, most people think I am very approachable and outgoing. Role-playing has been a passion of mine for a very long time; I absolutely love getting lost in a fictional universe and portray characters that are often very different from who I am in real life.
I prefer deep, complex roleplays with believable characters. I like lively settings that can offer excitement, drama and plenty of dangers for my characters. I mostly dislike rolepays in which nothing concrete ever happens, and that eventually evolve in a never ending sequences of social interactions between the characters involved, not to mention stale conversations. In other words, I prefer having a solid plot, even more solid subplots, and a clear direction. I usually prefer to GM a roleplay if I am allowed to, as I feel I could offer an entertaining experience to players who would rather focus on their characters.
I also like to role-play mature themes without too many limits, although such themes are never the focus for me. They should be organically woven in the roleplay and complement the main storyline. Romance, for example, would never be the sole focus of a roleplay I'm involved in. It would be a subplot, perhaps an important one, but never the entire purpose of the roleplay.
And that's it, for now. Hopefully I'll get to know a few of your around here and find a few partners who share my vision of role-playing.

As an activestalker individual in the RPR community, I can assure you that you are not alone in your roleplaying morals and beliefs. I, personally, understand what you're trying to get at. I have seen numerous people on here who are devoted to their roleplays, just as you are (which is a quality that I can respect 
) so I'm sure that you'll not have a problem with finding people who share your interests. Ours is a very friendly community, so don't hesitate to message someone in search of a RP!
I'm sure you've been looking around some, and have found that this site is a great at getting new members up and running! First thing's first; characters are a good thing. You can find many articles on character profiles using the search bar at the top of the screen, but here's one of the most basic ones. You can make character profiles look positively amazing (that is, if you're willing to invest the time and effort); this is another very useful article I've found for doing more advanced things with your profiles.
Once you've got a character, you can head over to the "Find RP" tab and go from there, or you could head through the "Forums" tab to get to the "Looking for RP" forum. From there, you can reply to others' RPs that they've suggested, or propose your own.
If you have any questions, you can look to the search bar (as I stated earlier). There're about a million articles on this site, for various subjects.
You can also message any of us other members of the community, and I'm sure that we'll help in any way that we can. Some of the people on here are just so eager to help that they write a very long and ramble-y post to every new person they see.
