This is a roleplay powerfully inspired and incorporating themes from such items as AMHS, Charmed, The Magicians, Supernatural, and the VTM & VTR franchises. Of course, you may find plenty of real-life lore and mythological beings and topics within our roleplay such as Wendigos and the Chinese Hulijing.

Not many races are exempt from being played in this setting, though they must be edited by the mods to fit the setting and cast properly. (Exempt races include Angels, Furries and Gods)

The roleplay takes place in Charleston South Carolina, though it does allow movement to other countries and states when it's deemed fitting and the roleplay began,In-Character in the year 2018 but has since undergone a five year time skip putting us in the year 2022. Not too much has terribly changed except the President, a few minor breakthroughs in science such as very minor human alterations, and of course as always, social media. Though, while there are supernatural beings they are not fully known or acknowledged by the world except in very special occasions and all are held to not just a Supernatural World Statue of Secrecy but each race has their own rules about mingling with the mortals. Some beings forbid it entirely while others have such things as The Masquerade. There is a mixed outlook on mortals by the darker world which lurks in the shadows. Some wish to simply live peacefully beside them, others want to be known, and there are a few more devious who wish to enslave the mortal world.

The Story Currently :It's been five years since an outbreak of Voodoo Zombies hit the streets of Charleston. Since then, Chaos has sunk into the city. While the mortal world remains oblivious- there are clear changes. The Big Players in the Supernatural community have disappeared leaving gaps of power in their wake. Reckless Witches have gained the ire of many Vampires, who's secret societies' survival depends on humans being unaware of their presence. Demons seem to be attracted to the city at an alarming rate, often called upon by the many new cults popping up in Northside. Werewolves are in dwindling number at this time due to an advanced form of Rabies, caught by devouring wild animals.With fewer Werewolves to rage against, a sect of Brujah vampires have taken reign and decided to wage a silent war on humans now that the city is left without a Vampiric Prince.
The death of a neigh-untouchable witch has caused many witches and wizards to throw their bid in for control of the Supernatural community.
CMA presence is at an all-time low; as the execution of Vivienne Bellerose has made the culture towards the organization incredibly toxic.
