It's amazing what it can do,
For someone to believe in you.
It's a powerful force, like the wind
That blows through a landscape,
And changes it.

When someone believes in you,
All of a sudden, you find yourself
Doing things

That you never
.

Thought
.
.
.
You could do.

Yeah this poem was inspired by 1. My Uncle Doug, because he always believed in me even when not every family member did, and 2. by something someone said a while back in the HFY group, when I was down on myself, and they said...something like..."you already know what's needed because you just said it, now all you have to do is take action and get it done. I know you can do that, I believe in you."

It tripped me out the affect really simple words had on me, because in the moment, I really believed I could do it too. Even though a second before I hadn't. Now whether I HAVE done it or not (controlled my internet addiction), is another question, but the point is, for a second something that had seemed hard seemed easy, and it's amazing that mere words could do that. We all know the power of words. But it's still amazing to me. Seemed like a good subject for a poem.
