Tolora yawned and opened her eyes. She changed form and said, "What's wrong?"
"I-I-I...." She stampered as she was trying to find the courage to tell Tolora. "I think i just saw where your mothers killer is...." She blurted out.
Tolora was wide awake now."What?? How? Is he here??"
"No, I saw him in an ally-way, in my dream" Jazmine replied. She looked hard at Tolora "You look just like her..." she said quietly with admiration.
Tolora sighed. "Like who? My mom?" She felt kinda happy about that, but sad at the same time.
"Yes, she was so beautifull" Jazmine said before an agonizing pain hit her, making her scream. OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING?? Suddenly she saw the man again walking into the verry town they were in a few hours ago. Gasping she saw him going up the trail the caravan tried to go to and disappearing from sight. More pain shot through her head as she mumbled "He's nearby..." before she collapsed into Tolora's arms.
Tolora caught Jazmine as she fell and gasped as the last of the vision rushed through her. The caravan... Tolora gently laid her down. She ran outside and called up to Markal "I've gotta go! Don't know when I'll be back! Take care of Jazmine!" With that she shifted and ran faster than she ever had before.
Markal sat in the tree, bewildered. He climbed down and went into the den and saw Jazmine, she looked asleep. "What was that all about...?" He said quietly to himself.
Soaring through the forest, Casper dodged every tree. he finally came opon a run-down ghost town. He was about to turn around when he saw a streak of black and white running up the trail at the end of the town. They must be here then. He made up his mind and followed the mysterious up the side trail.
Tolora was able to get back to the caravan in 5 minutes. She cautiosly slowed down and looked around. She didn't see the man. She sniffed around. His scent was still fresh, where was--WHAM!! Tolora was bowled over by something charging into her side. She roared and bit down and whatever it was and heard and yelp of pain. The two parted and she discovered it was...another tiger? This one could be mistaken for a panther though, because where most tigers were orange and black, or white and black like her, this one was two shades of black. It's red eyes stared at her.
It changed form, another were??, and took the form of a man of about 30 with ragged black hair, in a suit. The man looked startlingly like...like an older version of Markal...
Tolora couldn't move, she was so shocked. She shifted and gaped at the man. "...Dad?"

He finally caught up to her. Casper hid in a tree a few feet away from them, making sure that the girl could sense him and not be threatened. He carefully leaned over and watch the reunion.
Jazmine woke up and jumped so badly she managed to grab onto some stalagmites on the ceiling."Where is Tolora?" she asked the figure she felt so sure was Markal.
"You look like your mother." Was all he said. Tolora didn't know how to react. She just stood there. She wasn't ready when he threw himself at her with a concealed knife. She brought her arms up in time to protect her face and felt it go into her arm.
"Come on! Fight for yourself! This is why I got rid of your mother, she was making you soft!" She heard him yell at her. So it's true... Tolora screamed her anger and kicked him off her. She drew her own dagger, the dagger he had used.
"You're sick in the head!!" She screamed at him as she lunged with the dagger. He dodged it with ease.
"That's more like it! Fight!"

Markal shook his head. "I don't know. She just left, and it seemed like she was in a hurry."
Jazmine closed her eyes and just laid there for a couple minutes. Then she replied grimly "She's going to come back, but she might not b the same ever again." She dozed off minuted later, leaving Markal to think about what she said.
Casper watched the fight with mild amusement. He knew he should probably do something, but it was against the laws. So he leaned so far over he started hanging upside down, and watched the Man and his daughter fight. This is a waste of time, I already know who wins anyways... Humans are so weird....
Her father didn't have time to talk anymore. Tolora came at him with a vicious determination. After a while, they broke apart again, panting. There was sweat running down Tolora's face, or was that blood? She saw that she'd been able to land a long gash across his chest, shallower over his heart, where he'd jerked back. He'd gotten her too though, and more often. She leaned more on her left foot and felt the sting of the air as it blew over the deep cut in her shoulder.
She couldn't go on like this much longer. She'd been in 3 fights in the last 24 hours and she was already about to fall down. She had to end this quickly. He stepped back into a relaxed position. "You seem to be doing well...I suppose you've passed. Maybe next time I'll be able to test your brother." With that he disappeared in the darkness of the trees behind him.
Tolora ran forward, shocked. She shifted forms and cast about for his scent... Even that was gone. She shifted back and shouted. "Come back and face me you coward!!!" There was no one to hear her except her hidden watcher and the trees. It was as if he had never been there at all. Tolora went to walk away and everything went fuzzy. She swayed and passed out.

Casper saw the girl pass out and flipped from his perch on the tree. He picked her up under the arms and legs and did a running take off. He soon saw a fire going and headed towards it, only to find a boy who looked much like her father. Casper called over to him "Hey bud come help with this cargo." he said as he landed neatly on the snowy ground.
Markal was surprised when a boy only a few years younger than himself came into view, with Tolora in his arms! "Tolora! What happened?!?" He exclaimed as he stood up and took his sister from him. He gently laid her down and saw the wounds on her body. "Did you do this to her?" He asked in a dangerous voice.
Casper snorted "No, her.. your father did this to her. I couldn't do anything to stop it.
