I'm fairly new here and I am having some troubles trying to figure out how to start an actual roleplay. Do you create it on another website? Plz help.

You can use the Find RP tool to match up with partners. The actual RP can happen anywhere you like.
Your partner and you can use private messages, create a group with its own forums, or use the General, Fantasy and Sci-Fi Roleplay forums on the main site.
If you play content that for mature settings, then it has to go into private messages or in a group behind proper warning labels. You can't play that on the public parts of the site.
Lots of people also RP on other sites or on chat programs like Discord. It's up to you where you'd prefer to RP!
