The night was silent. The moon was full and the sky was clear, revealing the shining stars. Suddenly, a aqua colored dazzling light filled the sky. A shooting star shot across the sky, looking as if a glowing ball of water was passing across the sky. The shooting star hit the ground with a loud boom, forcing the ground to shake violently for miles. The object had made a huge crater in the ground, destroyed trees dirt littered everywhere. The wildlife made a huge racket, not liking that they were disturbed at this time of night. In the center of the enormous crater lay the body or a woman. Her black dress was torn and burned at the bottom and her beautiful aqua hair was splayed, covering her face and her upper back. Her pointed ears poked out from beneath her hair and she seemed to not be moving. A few black feathers scattered in the wind, all coming from the direction of the crater.
Eled Lightfoot was sleeping and shot up straight, his body tense and alert. He was more than a few miles away, however, his superior elvish hearing and his link with nature worked in such a way that before the explosion even occurred, he was on edge. He searched frantically outside the cave that had been his home for several weeks. He bit his lower lip, mumbling to himself, "Er lad beh stranded on er damned island with nathin ter eat but these damned fruits wit too many seeds and ther texture erf a rock, then the damn sky starts attackin meh!! Rotton luck." He shook his head sullenly. The mad, stranded pirate ended his tirade with a large grin. "Course, sure breaks ther monotony." He ran forth that morning to explore.
His feet were measuring the distance to the center. He had long since decided that it must have been a circular explosion. It was nightfall before he reached the center and found the woman. He arched his back. After weighing the relative safety, he placed his fingers upon her neck, and checked her pulse.

The woman's hand twitched when he touched her. She was very much alive and was breathing slowly but her heart beat was faint. Her pointed ears twitched ever so slightly from the noise he was making. A black feather landed nearby and quickly turned to dust.
Eled grinned. It was always a strange phenomenon, the universe throwing him threads to follow. This, however, was bigger than he had imagined. He looked her over, “She don’ look ‘alf bad, neither.” This elicited a laugh. He attempted to scoop her up with two arms, and throw her over his shoulder. “Odd. Nuthin beh appearin’ broken.” If this was successful, he would jog outside of the explosion’s radius, and sit her up against a tree. He unclipped a canteen from his belt, and tried to open the female’s mouth, expending water to slowly trickle along her tongue.
Joruri opened her eyes, revealing her gray eyes and blinked a few times. She saw the male and yelped before trying to get away. She banged her head against the tree and winced, holding her head. She looked at him, tears in her eyes from the pain.
"Easy now, Love..." Came Captain Eled's relaxing voice. He reached into his first aid kit, applying a salve to the spot her head had connected to the tree. "If yeh were playin' planetary Hop Scotch, yeh appear ter 'ave tripped." He smirked widely, amusement glittering as clearly as the tears brimmed in her eyes.
Joruri blinked her tears away." W-who are you?" She said in a small voice. There was a soft tone to her voice, almost no defiance. She looked at him, her grey eyes shy and gentle. She looked around, trying to figure out where she was.
Eled chuckled. "I know where weh are...ish. This partcular chain of islands beh er bit unfamiliar to meh. Unfortunateleh, me ship were given er leak, had er run in with some rival ... sea cap'n, sommat erbout his daughter likin meh more 'n 'er husban'." He laughs. "Managed ter kill meh whole crew, but not meh. I hitched a ride on ther boat fer er couple days, made me escape ter these islans as soon as I seen em in the distance. Quite er lot erv rowin' it was too," He was reminiscing now. "Bloodeh Cap'n think he beh makin it back to Stranglethorn ter brag 'is tale, 'as ernother thing comin', 'e does. Aye, if yeh 'adn't guessed by now, I lit ernough barrels afore I lef' that would make your fall look like er skinned knee compared ter the ocean splash I made!" He grinned for minutes that seemed hours, and finally refocused on her, remembering where he was. "Oy,me name, love? Cap'n Eled Lightfoot erv the Blackwater Raiders, at yer service." He stands, giving her a dramatic bow.
Joruri blushed a little as she watched him." P-pleased to meet you, mister Eled. My name is Joruri." She bowed her head slightly before looking up at him."So your stranded here?" Her gray eyes watched him carefully for she knew better than to trust someone right as she met them.
Eled smirked as he noticed she'd been blushing. “Joruri, eh? Soun’ like Jewelreh to meh, fittin’ realleh.” He looked her up and down thoughtfully. “Far as I been tol’, yer not stranded if yeh’ve got good companeh, though I do wish ther food were a bit better. I were thinkin’ bou’ fishin’ later today. If yeh’d like, I can show yeh meh cave?”
Joruri blinked. She knew she should at least show him what she was but she was scared on the way he would act." I guess." She stood up. Her aqua colored hair fell to her waist and she wasn't that tall for her age.
Eled Led her the way to his cave, stopping often to revitalize her with water, and the fruits he would pull off the trees as thy left the site of the explosion. He would tell her sea story after sea story. He sighed as they neared the cave, "What I miss most erv all beh me Sulfiron Slammas, love. Like drinkin' gasoline straight, it's true."
Joruri looked up at him." What are those?" She didn't know much about certain things. Her ears twitched slightly before she started to look around.
“Hm? Oy, yeh are definitely not from Azeroth. A Sulfuron Slamma beh an extremeleh potent, flamin’ alcoholic drank. It’ll knock yer socks off, it will…and then set your feet on fire ter boot!”
He entered the cavern. It was deep enough for the two of them to sit comfortably, but sleeping would be cramped. It was more or less a bird’s nest in rock. Nevertheless, Eled made his way to a firepit he’d obviously lit many times before. He took out a gizmo, grinning. Flicking a gear, a large flame torched over wood and kindling he’d already set up.

Joruri watched him." I don't drink alcohol." She said as she looked around. Her back was starting to hurt from her wings being in her back. She ignored the pain. She liked that the cave wasn't cramped at the moment but when she got tired, she would be sleeping outside.
A young woman walked towards a forest. She saw a rather beautiful looking aqua shooting star heading this way.
She continued walking as she entered the forest, her white cape slightly blowing in the wind behind her as did her long blue hair. Her white leggings and light blue long-sleeved shirt were dirty, but she didn't mind. She was holding her wooden bow in one hand, which was hanging at her side with a bow already loaded in it. Her pointy ears slightly stoke out from under her hair as she listened for any movements around her. None. She continued walking where she saw the shooting star had crashed. She did hear a loud sound from here so she assumed it had crashed. She swapped leaves and bushes out of her way with her hand just as she looked ahead, and saw a large crater in the ground. Huh, so that meteorite did crash. She slowly walked towards the crater.

Benny, Eled's tiger, watched the woman. He hid behind a rock nearby where he'd been playing in the dirt. He sniffed the air, determining whether her scent was familiar or not.
Judging by the ears, he was sure it was an elf of some kind. But Sin'dorei or Kel'dorei would make a huge difference on whether he should run and get his master or not.

Shidoni looked at the crater but there was nothing....just an empty crater. She sworn she saw a falling object crash down here. It sure did leave a large crater, whatever it was. But how can nothing leave a huge crater in the ground?
She sighed, maybe she was just imagined a shooting star crashing this way. Just then she froze, hearing something in the distance. Her eyes widened as she grip on her bow tightened. Maybe someone found her, maybe something was about to attack her. She didn't know if she should run or stay and fight whoever is hiding. She took a step forward, the same way the mysterious creature was hidden. She froze again, listening.

Benny was unable to make a determination. But he saw her body tense and tighten on her bow. Taking on a full grown elf, easy when he had his master’s arrows raining on one, but by himself? No, Benny knew better than to take his chances. With incredible speed, he darted towards the cave, where Eled now lain sleeping.
Joruri was outside of the cave, awake. She wasn't tired and had too much on her mind for sleeping. She wondered how she had come here and how did she survive the crash. Her back was starting to ache but she didn't let out her wings.
