Along Route 17 in Kanto, people had recently been claiming to see a wandering Blastoise in the forests. The road itself was rather well travelled and the wooded areas on either side were thought to hide weaker pokemon who were quite happy looking, though a defensive Blastoise was generally seen closer to the bridge than Route 16 and never too far from the water it could escape into if needed. Sightings of the Blastoise generally were glimpses of it disappearing slowly into the woods, though a few trainers claimed unprovoked attacks on them.

Sentro wondered his way through the woods, just like any other day, looking for something to do. The blastoise's face had a big happy look on it. He knew the area well and went to cross the road as it'd been a quiet week for Route 17.";

Cathlyn had only just gotten up and taken her breakfast in Celadon city. She'd heard about the rogue Blastoise in town the day before, and once again denying her weak body, she dicided to set out and find it. Who knows, maybe she could find out why this blastoise was attacking travellers unprovokedly?

She quickly set out across route 16 towards the cycling road to find the blastoise. When she arrived, she sat down on a rock and drank some water from a canteen. She took a pokéball in her hand and threw it out. An elegant Glaceon appeared in front of her, which immediately nuzzled against her. "Any idea where he might be, Ice?" Cathlyn asked. Glaceon looked up at her and replied negatively.

Sentro stepped out onto the road and began moving up it. The blastoise hadn't expected a traveller, his scarred shell was quite noticeable as he got closer. A smaller pokemon ran from the woods and he looked to it before communicating with it. The pokemon ran off and he moved to go to the woods, not making a threatening movement at all though he was obviously the 'troublesome' blastois. He would be easily made out as he got to the edge of the woods.

Glaceon saw the blastoise first and squealed. Cath turned her head and saw the knocked up Blastoise crossing the road. She got up from where she was sitting and walked towards him, remaining careful not to provoke him. "H-hello?" she asked hesitantly.

Sentro stopped and looked to her. He was vry cautious though and didn't level his cannons to fire at her. the pokemon wasn't acting aggressive. He sat and examined her, tilting his head curiously He turned his head to Ice and questioned whether Cath was kind or not. He was very careful not to sound accusatory.

Ice nodded confirmingly. Yes, Cath was most trustworthy.
Seeing as the two pokémon seemed to be engaged in conversation, Cahtlyn sat down again and examined the blastoise. He didn't seem aggressive, but he'd certainly seen a fight recently.

Sentro motioned for them to follow, his movement slow. He stopped at a tree of berries and ate one before pulling another down for Ice and offering it to her. He was gentle in action and began pulling more down as smaller pokemon came over, not wanting them to have to work so hard to get the berries. A couple of them had marks on them, painting a picture of recent cruelty. The blastoise was careful to watch over the other pokemon as they ate.

Cathlyn's eyes widened as the pokemon appeared seemingly out of nowhere, all of them busted up in the same way as the Blastoise. She got closer, now knowing he wouldn't harm her. "What happened to you guys?" she inquired.

Sentro looked to her and began mentioning cruelties inflicted upon the smaller pokemon, a couple he had liberated from their trainer by blasting their pokeballs from the trainer's hands to keep them from being returned. He had been harmed by a pokemon that worked with it's trainer to try to 'punish' the 'weak' pokemon he'd been protecting. He was careful to watch her though he was showing minor trust in letting her room to move toward the other pokemon.

Cathlyn looked at Glaceon. "We need to get them to the pokémon center in Celadon city. She took another pokéball from her hipbag and threw it out. A snow-white Dewgong appeared, looking at Cath expectantly. "Ice, Snowflake, I need you guys to get the smallest and weakest on your backs. We're going to take them first and then send a transport for the larger ones." she looked at the blastoise. "I-if that's alright with you.."

Sentro nodded and began helping the little ones move, he noted he couldn't go into cities as he knew he was concidered dangerous. He went to get ready to escort them, eating a few of the berries before looking to the smaller pokemon. He looked to her and moved to offer her assistance, he was gentle in helping her aswell trying to prove he wasn't just a big brute.

Ice happily smiled at Sentro for helping out. Cathlyn nodded helpfully, and got ready to walk back to the city. "You guys ready?" she asked. Both Ice and Snowflake replied positively. "Alright then..." She looked at the blastoise. Hide in that bush over there until we get back with larger transport services for the other pokémon. ONce you've recovered a bit, we'll go looking for whoever did this, okay?" She smiled encouragingly. "Alright, let's go guys!" With that, they started off back to Celadon city.

Sentro began getting berries and helping the rest of the pokemon with food, knowing that they were hungry. He would move into a bush when the others that were still there were fed he went into the bush and hid. When Cath returned the pokemon would move over to her and Sentro would move to come out.

Cathlyn dropped off the smaller pokémon at the center and talked to the sisters there about the Blastoise she'd found. It wasn't long before they had a large van on the road towards route 17. She looked at Ice. "Come on, go find them!" Ice squealed happily and ran off into the bush to find the others, guiding them out towards the awaiting nurses.

Sentro came out and tilted his head as he examined the Nurses. He wouldn't get near them except to see that Cath was okay, he seemed to not trust most humans and a few pokemon. the last of the other pokemon went upto them but he kept away, watching them examine the others.

Cath noticed the blastoise's hesitation and walked over to him. "What's wrong?" she asked.

Sentro shook his head and looked around He moved over after the others had been checked, he was by far the one who'd taken the most damage. He watched carefully as the nurses checked him, still not trusting them fully.

Cath just sat down in front of him and looked at the blastoise with an encouraging smile. "It'll be alright!" she said happily. Both Ice and Snowflake nodded in agreement with the young girl.

The blastoise continued to watch them until the nurses finished checking him. He moved away a bit and looked at everyone, the nurses wanted to bring all of them back for treatment but weren't sure if there would be problems with others in the city and Sentro.

Recognizing the look on the nurses' faces, she quickly turned to Sentro. "Hey big guy, would you like hiding in one of my pokeballs for a bit, until we get to the center? It's only so the people in the city won't see you. I won't keep you, you're free to go afterwards!" she asked him.
