Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Could you inform us a bit more? I get a philosophic vibe from this. If like it's an automaton wanting to either be a human, discover what makes us humans, or be like humans (In the sense of having the same rights as us)

So I checked out his character, James, and apparently, he's a "Giant who wants to be human," so not an automaton.
However, I think the story you were looking for, an automaton intrigued in humans, sounds really interesting.

I just took a look on his character, it has nothing on it. I have had this idea of an rp build around a creator-creations relationship in the sense that it's similar to a parent-child relationship. It could possible end like the original Frankensteins monster.
