Anua didn't like sand that great. It was hard to sense things on. She blinked when she heard the rustle of leaves in the wind."An oasis? Here of all places?" She thought to herself. She walked over to the oasis and sat in the shade or a nearby tree, thankful for the cooling shade. She drank a little from her canteen and set her backpack down, She tied a sand colored cloth into her long, bronze colored hair and looked around with her white eyes.

(I added Raider to Darth's profile. He's just Darth's stallion. Nothing too serious. )

Darth kicked Raider ahead. The tall stallion was obviously getting tired. Darth sighed heavily, jumping off his stallion. "Come on Raider.", he said, pulling the reigns over the horse's head. Dart led him forward, spotting a sparkling oasis in the distance. It's probably just a mirage., he thought to himself, forging ahead. He walked to the edge of the oasis, not yet noticing the other demigod. He unhooked the reigns from Raider's bridle, making a lead rope out of it. The stallion leaned over, taking a long drink.

Anua heard him and quickly hid behind a tree, forgetting her backpack. She noticed and cursed herself in egyptian. She waited, sensing his movements. She could sense he was another demigod but she didn't know who his parent was.

Darth nerd rustling and turned around. He didn't see anything... He looked at Raider. He had his ears pinned, pulling towards a tree. He spotted a backpack, crouching down near it. "Look at what we have here.", he shook his head, unzipping the pack. He dropped it when Raider neighed loudly. He peered around the tree where Raider was, seeing Anua. "Hello?", he asked quietly, looking the other demigod.

Anua yelped and jumped. She fell onto her butt. Her white eyes looked at the horse but they were unfocused, a sign she couldn't see." You scared me. Besides I wasn't even expecting someone to be out here."

Darth realized that the girl was blind, "I'm sorry. I didn't realize...", he didn't know if she would be offended if he said blind, "there would be anyone out here either." He called Raider to his side, zipping Anua's bag back up. He held it out, close enough for her to hit with her hand. "Everything is still there. I assure you." Darth then held out his hand near Anua's, planning to help her up, "I'm Darth by the way.", he said.

Anua took her backpack and grabbed his hand, standing up." Anua." She had heard his name before, at least from her father."Don't treat me like I'm totally blind. I can sense vibrations through the ground and I can locate you through sound."

Darth took a few steps away, "Sorry.", he mumbled, tugging on Raider's lead rope. "Anua. Daughter of Thoth?", he questioned, pulling out his canteen. He crouched down, filling it up with water from the oasis. He stuffed it back in Raider's saddle bag, the stallion had his head cocked to the side, looking curiously at Anua.

Anua glared at him then smiled." Now I remember. Your Darth, son of Osiris." Anua watched him with her white eyes.

Darth looked puzzled, "You remember me?", he frowned, trying to recall when he had met Anua. It had to be her father... He jumped onto Raider's back, patting his neck. "What do you say we get out of this desert?", he interrogated, sliding up on the saddle slightly.

Anua looked at him." My father told me about you." She blushed slightly." I can walk thank you."

Darth sighed, "I'm guessing none of it was good." He shrugged, "Suit yourself.", he said before leaning lightly on Raider's neck. "Where you headed?", he asked, sitting back up in the saddle.

Anua shrugged." I'm a traveler. I go just about anywhere." She started walking east."I've met him before but where?" She thought to herself.

"Mind if I tag along.", Darth kicked Raider into a slow walk, following behind Anua. He had no where to go, no one to talk to. He had just been wandering along and ran across the desert.

"I guess." Anua said right before sliding down a small sand dune. She managed to catch herself before she fell.

"You alright?", Darth asked, tightening his grip on Raider's reigns. He pushed him ahead, the horse sinking into the sand a few inches. Darth got off, pulling his reigns over Raider's head. He needed to walk him. He wasn't going to ride Raider in this area of the desert.

Anu huffed." I hate being blind." She blinked when she heard really strong wind a long distance away." We need to go back. There's a sand storm coming our way."

Darth paused, "That's amazing.", he commented, turning and walking back in the direction he had come. Soon they would be out of this part of the desert and in a firmer area where Raider could be ridden. It would be much easier that way, but Anua would probably decline the offer.

Anua shrugged as she followed him." I was born blind. I have sharper hearing than most." She looked around." I don't think there are any caves around so we'll have to keep moving."
