Meliere gleaned over the man and began musing to herself, though it was clear that she was still addressing him. "My, you seem like a rather cocky and sensual thing, hmm, hmm, hmm...? You remind me of Alexander, to be fair..."

"What did you just say?!" And speak of the devil.

"Oh, nothing, nothing," Meliere crooned to her bitter masculine half, "I meant nothing on that one at all, I assure you..."

"No, he seems like the material to steal your woman, then throw salt in the wound and squeeze a lemon in your eye. Which, by the way, is not something I'd really know. I don't feel much pain, to begin with."

Creatia awed at the silver-haired remnant before her, even though she was very much wary of him as well. After all, he was a stranger, and she wasn't sure if he was docile or not.

"So, you uh... C-can't feel pain? That's, uhm, r-rather fascinating," the tall female spoke with a small amount of reverence. It was clear she was more than curious about how that was possible with someone like him. He was human after all, right?

"Not really. Sephiroth never gave me a gull set of organs and bones, aside from what I need...so I have a heart and ribcage, and all, obviously a spine, and whatever else they call the neck-bones, and eyes and a brain, but...I'm not human. I can't be human. I'm just a Remnant, a remnant of a so-called hero."

He'd shrugged, really having nothing to say about. "I'm basically a manifestation of the negative Lifestream, and that's how I'm maintained...I can still bleed, but the mist that follows seals the wounds...in various amounts of time, all without scarring so long as the wounds aren't constantly delivered. Too many is bad for the body."

"Lack of pain is highly illogical...pain is necessary to facilitate a feeling of fear and danger required for self preservation."

"Um...I don't think a person's race is really the first thing one should be judged on...They should be judged by actions...Right?"

"Aye, me lass. 'Sides, if anybody is going to be fighting knife ears here it's gonna be me!"

"You've got nothing on me, Dirtblood. "

Meliere's button nose twitched once, then twice. "...You smell of blood. However, I don't know what else to make of you..."

Her eyes narrowed in curiosity, before she shrugged her observation aside with a hmph and a wave of her hand. "Ah well... I suppose not knowing much about someone is fine too. In fact," a faint smile pulled against her lips before finishing her thought, "I think some people are... Better off that way."

"Hmm...If he smells of blood, then I wonder what I smell like...And Miss Springfield and Miss M14..."

"......?" (snif) "Like candy. You'll go places~"

"I am most curious how and where you attained the Aegis Pneuma in her separate forms..."
