how can i get in touch with this organization. anything is better than being poor because the call for an assassin is low.
"The Brotherhood contacts you, not the other way around. When the time is right and you've shown that your heart and your blades are true, then you shall know if our creed is right for you to follow."
Chokes back her laughter, bending over for a minute to catch her breath.
"Why did I find that funny? It's not even remotely hilarious. Maybe it's the style of writing? No, I write like that sometimes. All in all, they seem like a worthy character. Someone I'd roleplay with. "
Looks down at the ground, blinking her brown orbs to clear the tears of laughter away.

"Uh...What?"
"Same." She points at Umbra. "This person captured my thoughts exactly."
"Gee, thanks, love." She laughs lightly, "I'm not all that bad. You seem like a nice person. Despite calling me boastful. And cocky." She tilts her head, "I won't deny the cocky part. I can be a bit cocky. It's not overwhelming, but it's there."
"Für Deutschland!" Wait a minute, she's not even in the right time period. "Wait, wrong time."
"Is that...Dutch?" She asks, "Or German, I can never tell." She groans, frustrated. "You seem well-educated?" It's said more like a question, though. That's only a first impression.
"She's basically a modernized MG42 machine gun...So, it makes sense in some way that she also speaks German?..."
"Oooooh! Another snake person. Think a German is a kinda normal people..."
"Back home," a young man who was both deprived of and gifted with the arcane joined the conversation, "I heard the higher ranking sengoku speaking of a place known as Germany. I assume that the Germans come from there." As he said this, he placed his right hand on his chin to rub it as if in thought.
"A German is a person from Germany...Germany is a country in Europe..."
"Europe?" The young man spoke rather questioningly. He repeated the word to himself over and over as if on the next round saying it he would get a better understanding of what it was. "Is....is Europe like...one of the islands for the land of the rising sun?"
"Um...I'd heard the world's split to continents: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Arctic, and the Antarctic..."
"Asia? Africa?....Am-er-ee-kah?" he scratched his head for a moment before speaking. "Ah! Nippon must have found some new islands while I have been gone. Those are some strange names, though. If I ever go back, I will have to visit those islands."
"They're continents...With individual countries in them...Islands describe more like the State of Hawaii...Or, something like that..."
"Now you are just talking nonsense!" Ray laughed a bit with his outburst. "I do not know who where you have learned what you are speaking of, but I am sure it is false. I should know. When I traveled out of Nippon I went to a different world entirely. So Nippon is one whole world and everywhere else is another world. There are no such things as 'continents', silly woman."
"Well, that's... Kinda mean, mister..." the blue eyed ingenue piped up warily, slowly shaking her head in disagreement, "I... Really don't... Think she's being silly... At all, you know? There are continents where I'm from: a total of... Seven, I think. Are you sure you're from... Uh... ..." After a moment of thought, she spoke up again. "Uhm, where is this... 'Nippon,' again?"
"'Yo, man, that's some old arse name f'r modern-day Japan, Merri-Mer!" A masculine voice chimed in behind her. The girl turned her head to face the owner: a redhead with a short bob style who clearly had a thing for piercings, if his gold and silver studded face was anything to go by. Tapping his boot-clad foot while leaning against a nearby wall, he continued, "Guy must be old as hell to still go by it, don'tcha think so?"
"Oh, uh... Okay, I guess that's... Fine...?" She scratched under her cap with a few fingers, her expression twisted into one of utter confusion with a hint of worry. Of course the woman was perplexed: this man had never heard of continents outside of Japan before... And it wasn't a continent in the first place; Japan is a country in the modern-day era. Merrin found the man to be very... Strange to say the least... Barring his initial boastfulness from the mushroom seller's view after she walked into the room alongside her close friend.
